- Arturo D00Outstanding service and advice! Love Fez! And Turkey!Gizem was our main contact at Fez and she was outstanding! Patient, helpful, full of great suggestions, and extremely responsive. She also has great judgment and pushed us to do some things we otherwise would have skipped had ahead of us not gently “insisted,” and we’re very glad she did. Our guides, Irem in Istanbul, Emre in Cappadocia, and Dynamit in Izmir, were all first class. They knew their history and really enjoyed sharing it with their guests. I highly recommend all three, especially Irem in Istanbul. You really, really need someone to guide you through the Byzantine maze that Istanbul is. And the drivers who got us around with the guides were also fantastic. Everyone was, actually. The hotels were all great, although I might not stay at the Levni again in Istanbul, even though its location cannot be beat. If you do stay at the Levni, make sure to talk to Nural, the concierge— he is terrific and gave us wonderful advice. In Cappadocia, the Evanthia Cave Suites and cozy and personal, with great staff and delicious breakfasts. Also, the location was great — stay near the main town — don’t go too far up the mountains. Evanthia is perfect and ask for room 101; it’s cavernous. Finally, the Swisshotel in Izmir was a true 5 star hotel. Classy and well located. So, overall, a very well planned and memorable trip. Gizem and Fez went the extra mile at every twist and turn and we truly felt like guests on this trip. Oh, and it was quite affordable for an all private, top shelf vacation.
- E3510HDjudym00Exceeded expectationsI joined a Turkey 7 day classics tour with guide Tamer and 7 other people. The tour was well designed and covered a broad range of sites and experiences from recent and ancient historical sites, to skilled craftspeople, local customs and fantastic scenery. Tamer is a very experienced guide. He knew all the small details about places we visited that made for perfect timing and a stress free trip. He ensured we had a relaxed pace for sightseeing and listening to him impart his knowledge of Turkey past and present. I had time to take some great photos too and time to get to know the other travellers. I’ve even made some new friends! Our driver Yilmaz was friendly and I felt 100% safe with him. I didn’t need to carry my luggage in and out of hotels which made life easy after a busy day. I was very impressed with Tamar as he was attentive and caring to everyone. The food was a real highlight. Breakfast and dinner were always generous and even more interesting as Tamer explained all about local foods and wine. Tamer gave me a real sense of historical and modern day Turkey. I hope I can come back some day to Turkey, Fez Tours and Tamer.
- venerao76200Fantastic experience and lots of funFantastic tour with fabulous fellow travellers and an excellent guide and driver. We spent two days in Istanbul then travelled through Turkey to learn about its culture and history while visiting some beautiful and amazing locations. Highly recommended with personal favourite -a hot air balloon ride at sunrise.
- braggrr00Great experienceVery moving trip to the battlefields. If you are interested in the Great War, this is an excellent trip. The battlefields and trenches are still clearly visible. The museum is a must. Well worth the bisit
- Scenic6494706135800Awesome Turkiye.I would highly recommend Fez Travel. 'Tamer' - our guide was professional and explained very well across all of the locations visited. Also our safety and wellbeing was considered at all times. Our driver 'Cengiz' was also of great character and did his job very well.
- Extraordinary37710700Wonderful tripThank you Tamer for a wonderful trip around Turkey. I most enjoyed listening to you about all aspects of Turkey and the places we visited. This trip went to some amazing places. And thank you to Cengiz for your driving, You both looked after us wonderfully. I had a really enjoyable trip and would recommend it to anyone.
- HDHunt00An Excellent Trip! (Magic Carpet Tour)I had a wonderful time on the Magic Carpet tour with Fez Travel. This is a great option if you want a high-quality, well-paced tour with excellent food and hotels. Visits all the important sites in Turkiye in a reasonable 10-day window. Tamer was an exceptional guide, going above and beyond at all points, and our driver Cengiz navigated chaotic traffic like a true professional. A definite recommend!
- NormaS42600Great tour of Turkish sites with all the highlightsThis tour was fantastic. Temar was an exceptional guide and Cengis the most safe and considerate driver. We covered all the major sites and enjoyed good- sometimes great -hotels with lots of wonderful local experiences included.
- Jania B00Fires with FaStunning and memorable. Our guide Fa was a gem. He immediately had us at ease with his knowledge and cheeky humour. He was through in his planning and very thoughtful of our needs..
- madaline201800Fez Travel gets applauseThe experience with Fez Travel was smooth. The transport airport to hotel upon arrival and hotel to airport was prompt, worry free. I learned from the guide as we toured eastern Turkey, sights including Ephesus, Hierapolis, the Travertines, Cappadocia, Ankara, and Old Town Istanbul. Hotels were clean with good food. I took many pictures and made new friends. Our guide, Ceren, was was knowledgeable and created a warm, friendly, and open tour.
- FarAway81306000Türkiye - so much to see and so little time.Magic Carpet Tour. Best tour ever - spectacular scenery, customs and culture. 10 full days of sharing and fun filled adventure across Turkiye from Istanbul, Gallipoli, Troy, Ephesus, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Cappadoccia, Konya, Goreme, and more. Nothing was too much trouble for our guide Çeren and our bus driver, Yilmaz. Our group consisted of people of all ages and came from Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and USA and we encountered very few fellow tourists enabling us to meet and mix with the locals for our meals. All hotels were clean, comfortable and spacious Çeren was fabulous and also very expert in sharing all the necessary information and “fun facts” as the tour progressed. We all benefited from Çeren’s knowledge and sense of humour. We only had one small disappointment during the the entire tour and that was on the last day due to inclement high altitude weather - winds were too strong and we had to forgo our Ballooning experience in Cappadoccia. For that alone, we will need to return to Türkiye and have more fun, hopefully with Çeren and Yilmaz! Yilmaz kept the van spotless during the tour and managed our luggage with expert care and attention unloading, depositing it into each hotel and again collecting and repacking onto the van. He expertly navigated us through some crowded city traffic, particularly on the last day due to road closures and a football match. We would travel with Fez again and recommend both Çeren and Yilmaz to our friends.
- 466jacquis00Fez Turkey Classics tour disappointingTurkey was good but our guide was not. Just took off and left us to sort ourselves. Not very helpful. Our driver was great. Only one of the many gas station lunch stops was good. Would rather have been left in town for an hour to find lunch for ourselves. Got screwed over on the accommodation, were refunded some of the cost, but ruined the experience of stayng in the cave hotel (we were put in a annexe away from the hotel and had to be driven for meals etc.) The dinners at the cave hotel left a lot to be desired. Instant mash and stew, rice and chicken tenders is not 4 star. Overall this tour was disappointing.
- asiatulip00Fantastic tour. What a fantastic tour. Our guide Tamer was excellent. He is very knowledgable and enthusiastic and nothing was too much trouble. One of the very best. Thanks also to our driver Baki for keeping us safe on the roads.
- earnaa00A week of fun, new friends, food and adventure :)My first time to try tripadvisor.com ... indeed it was such an exceptional and fun experience in Turkey. Thanking the LORD for this blessing. Also, praising the LORD, for allowing me to be part of this lovely group (new found friends), with our kindhearted and helpful tour guide, Tamer and driver Baki. What a week of great fun and adventures. Thank you also to Fez Travel :)
- H3834YOjulied00Turkey experienceOur tour guide Tamer was very informative and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to ensure our trip left us with fantastic memories. Our driver Baki was just the nicest man who you always felt safe with. Overall we loved Turkey!

There were only the two us on this tour which was a bonus.
Everything ran just as it was explained to us by our guide Tamer.
He was excellent throughout the whole tour giving us such a good understanding of the history of each site but also about the Turkish people and their culture.
The standard of the Hotels used and also the quality of the meals was excellent
At the end of the tour he went the extra mile and assisted in forward bus booking for us.
A very knowlegable and personable guide.
Would recommend Tamer as a guide anytime.
Must mention also our very careful but curtious driver Hakan. Nothing was a problem for him. Enjoyed having him as our driver.
Would highly recommend Fez travel and the guide Tamer along with driver Hakan.

We did the 4 day tour from Istanbul to Pamukkale although there were long bus journeys it was a great way to see a lot of turkey in a short amount of time. Tamer is a great guide, very knowledgeable and accommodating. He even gave us recommendations for our onward travel. Can highly recommend this tour.

Great experience made amazing with professional/friendly guides. I booked a additional private tour last minute, the team was very accommodating and just made it happen on very short notice! Both tour guides Asli and Attila were fantastic, very well in-depth knowledge of all sites. Went the extra mile in explaining the culture and answering questions and providing advice etc. Our driver for the tour Murat ensured a safe journey and paid extra attention to ensuring the vehicle was kept clean to the-T throughout the trip. Highly recommended provider, you can't go wrong!

The young man who led our tour really was named Genghis Khan. He really knew his history and was very sensitive to all our understanding of Turkish history. The walking tour of Istanbul was a revelation and the insights Genghis was able to give brought to life the history of the city and its extraordinarily rich and culturally diverse background.
As an Australian who had a Great Uncle at Gallipoli, the visit here was poignant, sad and made me angry. Such a pointless loss of life to all involved.
I was angry at the British Generals and Admirals for their stupidity and arrogance. They made monumental mistakes which cost thousands of lives and totally undervalued the Turkish ability to defend their own land.
Troy, Pergamum and Ephesus were amazing. Really worth the visits and Genghis brought it all to life.
It was a wonderful four days. Well done Genghis!
