This walking tour was amazing! Our guide, Ata, was so well informed and interesting and took us to some really cool places we wouldn't have found on our own.
The blue mosque is currently closed for renovations so he took us to the Süleymaniye Mosque instead which was incredible. He also took us to a beautiful book market and a wonderfully authentic cafe and Turkish Delight stall where we bought some delicious presents and were given some titbits to taste.
Ata also gave us recommendations for lunch at a fabulous cafe near the mosque and a Michelin starred restaurant in the city centre, which was also amazing.
Well worth doing. Thanks Ata!

We signed up for a 4 hour semi private walking tour and had wonderful communication with where to be and how to get there. Emir, our guide, was very close to where we got off of the ship. The scheduled time was 9:00 am on trip advisor but our ship didn’t arrive until 9:30 am and they worked around that. He took us to Hagia Sofia Mosque/Museum, the cisterns, 3 mosques, a wonderful Turkish coffee shop, and the grand bazaar. Emir’s knowledge of the Turks and Istanbul was amazing. Emir guided us to shops specific to what we wanted and gave us a recommendation for a wonderful restaurant at the port. He was more interested in teaching us and being hospitable than the timing. We had a most wonderful day!

Our tour guide, Salih, was great! He gave us a good mix of history and current information about Istanbul, answered our many questions, and made sure we were comfortable along the way. He knew the best photo spots and patiently waited for us to explore each stop on the tour before moving on. The places we saw on this tour were truly awe-inspiring. Highly recommended!

Our guide was very rude and rushed everything. He walked fast and gave us no time to really take things in and take pictures of surrounding things that weren’t necessarily apart of the tour.
We walked like tourists and he walked like we knew where we were going.
We lost him a few times and towards the end of the tour he told us he’d leave us next time. Like wow, we’re tourists-we want to take photos and talk with people.
He blamed it on the other 2 people with us but they were so nice, fun, and told us to enjoy the trip how we wanted to.
Seeing the landmarks were nice but make sure you wear conservative clothing or prepare to rent clothes before going inside. They should mention that here in the tour info but they don’t.
We could’ve had a better experience if the guide wouldn’t have rushed everything.

Burak, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of our sites. He had maps and pictures prepared to give historical context to the sites we were visiting! We booked a group tour but ended up getting a private tour, which was great for asking questions. Burak offered to take pictures of us in front of each site! This tour was incredible and a must to do when visiting Istanbul for a short period of time! Burak even treated us to a tea in one of the most unique and oldest coffee houses in Istanbul! 10/10

Despite some last minute change to our tour we were very happy with all the service received. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with, gave us great advice, helped us with getting the pass for the tram and other helpful info, spoke amazing English and really knew his history, very professional. Highly recommend.

Our guide Salih was knowledgeable and friendly, we highly recommend his tour. He gave us a detailed description of what we were seeing, and the long history involved. He even gave us detailed instructions for returning to our hotel on public transit, helping get tickets. Our hotel had insisted we use a taxi, more awkward than the subway!

Advertised as a small group tour, but due to my wife being sick I was the only guest on this tour. Yasin, my guide, had no problem with that :) He took me to the top destinations in Istanbul, all the places that I wanted to see, and a couple I did not know about beforehand.
Yasin spoke very good English and he sure knows his history! For someone that is really interested in history, this was a great bonus. I can honestly recommend this trip and Yasin especially. It lived up to my expectations and then some! At the end, we sat down for a tea and chat :) Thank you Yasin, you did a great job :)
