About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- jsctraveler20220 contributionsFantastic tour of EphesusFatima was a wonderful tour guide. She met us immediately at the port exit and started our tour. She shared a lot of information and assured we had enough time to tour the sites to our satisfaction. She allowed us to cistomize our tour to ensure we saw everything on our list - Mary’s House, St John cathedral, Ephesus sites and the terrace houses. We arrived on a Viking Cruise and we returned directly to the port in plenty of time before our departure time.Written March 11, 2025
- NorthStar189080 contributionsTrip to Ephasus.Went with Fatima from the Viking Star. She did a wonderful job. She took us to all of the stops in Ephesus that we wanted to see. Our driver was great too. We were on time and had excellent explanations of the sites with very good English.Written March 11, 2025
- H9350UZcindyw0 contributionsEphesus TourExcellent tour. Our guide, Fatima, was so knowledgeable and customized the tour for us. We enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant, visited a school where they make rugs and even saw a fashion show of local leather coats. Ephesus was amazing. Because we were interested, Fatima arranged for us to go see The house of Mary. I especially enjoyed the small group setting and we were back to the ship on time.Written March 10, 2025
- ericaaX5748RW0 contributionsExploring Ephesus and BeyondWe booked through Viator as part of our cruise with the Celebrity Infinity. Meeting the tour guide was easy, even in a hectic area. Fatima was an INCREDIBLE tour guide, and Halil (I believe that was his name) was a very safe and considerate driver. This experience was wonderful and easy to customize, adding in a stop or two that was suggested (to note, a visit to Mary’s House is not included, but it is easy to add and very inexpensive. If you decide to go, bring USD/Euros in cash to repay your tour guide for parking, but you can use cards to buy tickets. A WONDERFUL lunch was added too. This tour was a great way to spend our day in Kusadasi, and visiting Ephesus. Even with the added stops, we were back to the ship dock PLENTY early, with time to still explore the markets and foods near the port. I would 100% book this experience again - ESPECIALLY if I knew Fatima was leading us!!Written March 10, 2025

Our family of 4 had an amazing experience with this tour company. We generally do not do tours however arranging the logistics of a visit to Ephesus and Pamukkale in 2 days by ourselves was too difficult. Everything was smooth starting from communication with Ismail to book the tour, he was very responsive on WhatsApp as well as email. When the tour started, our driver was extremely punctual arriving at 4am on the dot, and was skillful with navigating the roads throughout the tour. Our first day in Ephesus was unforgettable with Burga our tour guide who was very knowledgeable and personable.
We ended the day in Kusadasi which surprised us as it was a very idyllic seaside town frequented by cruise shippers as well as locals. We spent our free time by the sea and soaking up some sun, then finished with a lovely seafood dinner (not included) while watching the sunset.
Our second day started with a drive to Pamukkale with Fatima our guide, who skillfully arranged it such that we would be able to visit both the lunch spot and Pamukkale before the crowds came. She gave us good advice to avoid the Antique/Cleopatra pool as it was the day before the pool water gets changed and the water was very dirty.
We also had the option for visiting some factories for leather goods and onyx (these were opt in). They were not pushy and you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to. They also gave us the option to skip the visit and spend our free time instead which was appreciated!
Thank you to Best Turkey Tour and our guides Burga and Fatima for the amazing and professional trip!

My twin brother and his wife from South Africa and I embarked on a journey to see the city of Ephesus for ourselves and then we went onto Pergamon ending at the location where St Philip was martyred, Pamukkale.
I can definitely recommend using Iglesias Tour company as it is always a bit scary to select a touring company. All the arrangements went off perfectly and the our experienced Mr Ercument, English speaking tour guide, communicated interesting historical information about the various locations. My mother will be travelling to Turkey in Sep-22 and will also be using Iglesias Tours along with her sister and brother in-law from Australia.
After completing my trip using Iglesias Tours, I informed my mother that there is no need to worry about your trip because, " You will be in good hands" with Iglesias Tours. Travel, times, food, laughs are all expertly arranged and guaranteed.
Further to the excellent Touring company the locations especially Ephesus were absolutely amazing to behold, the scale and structures' building detail and materials used makes one wonder if our Civil & structural engineers should be embarrassed. What a impressive historic monuments of our ancestors and how impressive they really were and seeing the very places I had heard about and read about in the Bible was really impactful.
I wish you all an enjoyable time on your holiday/tour plans.

(As with any online overseas purchases, I am always worried of scams but this is legitimate. This affirmation is to allay any fears you may have.)
Booked a 5-day Ephesus, Pamukkale and Cappadocia tour. Upon payment of the deposit, flights, accommodation and itineraries were promptly arranged, confirmed and communicated. Ismail updated me on pertinent information prior to the daily itinerary including helping me to check-in my flights online which I had forgotten to do. We selected premium accommodation. The hotels, Charisma Deluxe in Kusadasi and Yunak Evleri Cave Hotel (excellent restaurant) in Cappadocia, were excellent and worth the extra. If only we had more time and energy to make use of their facilities.
Tours to Ephesus and Pamukalle were superb with Ismail and Fatima being our guides. They were knowledgeable, professional and kind. They provided sufficient time for us to enjoy ourselves at Ephesus and Pamukkale and provided sufficient information. Fatima also made sure we arrived at a time when she knew there would be lesser visitors so it was great that we could enjoy some of the pools without the crowds. Two of us were joined by a family of three so the small group of 5 made the tours more personalized. As with any other tours, do expect side trips to craft workshops/ shops. This trip included a trip to a carpet weaving workshop (which was informative) and a leatherwear outlet. The shopkeepers do not pressure you to purchase anything.
I highly recommend using their services and I have also recommended them to friends who are planning to go to Turkey. I usually prefer to travel free and easy but because I am really glad I booked this tour for this leg of my Türkiye trip.

My wife and I were visiting Turkey for the first time. We had some things in Istanbul that we needed to do, but we had a few days to visit and explore the different parts of the country.
When we saw all the good reviews for Best Turkey Tour, it was an easy decision to make. We didn't speak any Turkish, so having a guide that could speak English was essential.
Obviously, there were a lot of reviews complimenting Ismael, so we were pleasantly surprised that Ismael reached out to us soon after we had completed the booking.
There was actually another tour that we took while we were in Istanbul, and that experience was very lackluster (the guide was slow, didn't keep us engaged, wasn't very personable). The other couple we were with was probably the best part of the tour.
That being said, Ismael was amazing!!! He kept us entertained throughout. I love learning about history, but he really kept us on our toes. There would be little playful pop quizzes throughout to make sure we were paying attention, but it made things that much more enjoyable and made the historical aspect stick that much more.
Ismael knew exactly how long we needed to be in a particular area. After giving us some history and tips, he gave us ample time to explore on our own and take pictures. He even had more in-depth information when I asked for more details.
Because we were in such a small group, he offered to take us to a local eatery rather than a buffet that caters to the different dietary restrictions or preferences of larger tour groups. The food was delicious and he sat with us while we ate and we just had some small talk while we ate. (The other tour guide just sat on his own, not really wanting to interact with us).
Being able to see the ruins of Ephesus, House of Mary, Hierapolis, Temple of Artemis, the Pamukkale Travertines were amazing. One thing I especially appreciated was that he separated what was common legend vs. what things were in actuality vs. things that were still unknown. I appreciate when he said that there was no way in terms of timelines that the Cleopatra Pools in Pamukkale were visited by Cleopatra.
This tour isn't necessarily an easy one in terms of logistics. They have to manage transportation to/from the airport, two separate flights, hotels, meals along with everything else. Everything went super smoothly. We never felt frantic, or lost, or unsure of what we had to do. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked until we were back in Istanbul.
My wife and I are planning on coming to Turkey again next year with our children to do the Cappadocia area (Balloon rides!!). We will be specifically asking for Ismael, because he made the entire tour so easy, entertaining, and educational.
Don't hesitate to book here.

We booked our tour through our hotel in Kusadasi. We have Ismael our private tour guide / photographer for 2 days. 1st day, we went to Mama Mary house which is a blessing and then we visited the ruins of Ephesus. Ismael was a well educated and informed to the places we visited. I’ve learned a lot about the history. after our tour, we went to a local carpet shop (must experience) and a pottery place. Ismael stop by to this oldest shawarma (doner) place on our way back to the hotel, its tasted so good. The 2nd day we went to Pamukkale, its a 3 hour drive from Kusadasi. We left our hotel around 4:30 am and arrived at Pamukkale 7:30 am before the sunrise, Then ride the hot air balloon. it was amazing experienced. the view from the top is spectacular. Watching the balloon inflating was very entertaining. After an hour, Ismael drove us to the mineral-rich thermal water and walked us through to the story of this magnificent hillside. there you could also swim at Cleopatra pool, the water as warm and clean. I did enjoy my time and it was well-planed by Ismael. Thank you Ismael for making our trip possible. In chala I’ll see you again Turkey.

I go with my husband to this tour to Ephesus and Pamukkale. I really like the ruins of Ephesus and Hierapolis because I am Christian and like to learn about Christian history. Our guide is Ismael and he was very nice and spoke very good English. He was giving us very good education on the history there. He is also funny and made our time comfortable. Thank you to Ismael and hope to have him as a guide in the futures.

Dear Guest,
Due to distances, it is not possible to make tour the same day for Pamukkale and Ephesus. However, you can think about daily tours from Istanbul to Ephesus or Pamukkale by plane. If you want to get information about the programs. You can look at our website or send us an e-mail.
Kind Wishes
