Me and two colleagues were in Istanbul for business January 2025 and had a free weekend so we booked a 2-Day walking tour. Our tour was fantastic and we saw so many of the historical palaces, churches, and markets over the course of two days. Our tour guide was Gamze and she was the best! Gamze spoke excellent English, and her historical knowledge about the various sites, their architectural features, and religious significance was very impressive. Most of all she smiled and kept her upbeat personality throughout 2 days of rain and cold weather. She also is very experienced so she knows how to navigate the various entrances avoiding long queues when possible. The palaces, mosques, temples etc. were breathtaking, as well as the beautiful views along the Bosporus. Our experience was outstanding and would highly recommend and get Gamze if you can. If you do the full day tours be prepared to walk 12-15,000 steps, so have good shoes.

My tour guides name was merve. My guide was a wonderful guide and took me all around the city. She answered every question I had and was very flexible to whatever I wanted to do if I wanted to change to see something else that was OK honestly probably one of the best guided tours I’ve ever taken

We were a group of 3. We booked the 2-day tour. Our guide, Hakan, allowed us to customize the tour by asking if we wanted to enter the sites that had a ticket cost before entering. We also showed an interest in Turkish food, so he took us to restaurants and pointed out his recommendations from the menu. He also gave additional restaurant recommendations for us to use after the tour and they’ve all been good. He asked what else we wanted to see/do other than what was on the itinerary. I mentioned wanting to see Turkish rugs, and my friend mentioned wanting an ornament. That resulted in us being taken to a Turkish rug demonstration and a ceramic demonstration shop before finishing at the Grand Bazaar. He encouraged us to contact him via WhatsApp with other questions during our stay in Istanbul.

Fantastic knowledgeable guide who was good company and adapted the schedule to meet our needs. She definately made us feel we had made the most of our time in Istanbul , helping us understand the history and culture of this fascinating and important city .

We took a 2 day Istanbul tour that visited most of the best places in the old quarter. In addition we took the Bosphorous round trip ferry tour where our guide, Cumhur Tasdogan ,convinced the boat captain to make a special stop so we could get off on the Asian side of Istanbul. In addition, Cumhur was very friendly and flexible in offering options for us to see. He followed up after the trip was over to see how we were doing and to answer any additional questions. We can definitely recommend him and his tour company.

We took a one day tour of the main sites of Istanbul with Mustafa. He was very informative and fun to be with. He managed to take us to sites before they got busy which made our experience even better. We also appreciated that he took us to a few shopping locations that had authentic pottery and rugs. There was no pressure and we felt we had a good experience at those locations. Our lunch stop was also very tasty and we enjoyed it. We really enjoyed Istanbul and would be happy to return again.

Ozan was incredibly knowledgeable and flexible. Enjoyed his company and just a chill guy to hang out with. Great relaxed tour and he will accommodate to your pace. Excellent English and overall pleasant day. Our group wanted to do a last minute boat tour and he arranged it right away… Great day and super informative!

If I could give a 10/5 review, I would! Fayeza was my tour guide and she did a phenomenal job! Her knowledge of Istanbul’s history and cultural made the experience truly worthwhile. I did the 3 day tour with her and I feel like I was truly able to capture the essence of Istanbul and its history. I cant recommend this tour enough, thank you, Fayeza!

Our guide Berkay was very knowledgeable and gave us a great overview of Istanbul's historical landmarks and their stories through the different empires. We would have never been able to understand what we were visiting if it wasn't for his explanation. I highly recommend going with a guide.

We had a fantastic day of touring many of the major sites in Old Town. Sila was amazing. Being a history buff myself, I really appreciate someone that can talk about the information in detail. She was super accommodating when we wanted to change the schedule on the fly and was able to schedule our changes around Prayer times at the mosques. I felt we took full advantage of the time we had but still able to enjoy a relaxing lunch with a view of the Blue Mosque. I also really believe having a college educated female guide added to the experience because she was very open about her culture and some of its struggles.

best tour ever! Ozan was amazing, easily the best tour guide we've come across. He was personable, knowledgeable and super accommodating. He answered all of our questions and took us to an amazing restaurant for lunch. I highly recommend this private tour if you want to see Istanbul highlights!
