About
Lengthways of Tajikistan permeate three branches of the Great Silk Way: 1) Northern – Sugd’s that draw between Samarqand (Uzbekistan) and Kashgar (China); 2) Eastern-Western - Karategin’s that draw between Sariosiyo (Uzbekistan) and Kashgar (China); 3) Southern - Pamir’s that draw between Termez (Uzbekistan) and Tashkurgan (China).

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Patje19800 contributionsGreat day!Great tour to this fort but most of all Oyatullo told passionate about Tadjikistan that when I go back I want him again as a guide! He also makes your day worth the trip by going to hidden gems in Dushanbe!Written September 13, 2024
- claudemH1518YK0 contributionsFirst trip to TajikistanDoing the 10-day trek in the Fann Mountains was an amazing experience without any issues. A car picked us up in Samarkand, and another took us to Dushanbe. Each day was a new adventure, with breathtakingly wild landscapes. The mountains reflected in the crystal-clear waters of the countless deep blue lakes, where we swam every day. The route is demanding but without any technical difficulties. We slept in tents every night except in the Seven Lakes Valley. The meals prepared by our cook were excellent. A must-do!Written September 12, 2024
- Paradise188163550000 contributionsA tour definitely not to be missed! The journey was fantastic and perfectly organized!! Everything was exciting and both the driver and the guide were amazing!!Written August 5, 2024
- JurgenB4350 contributionsExpensive but to me it was worth itI did pay the 230 usd, the most expensice day trip I ever took, and when you just take taxis (one for each country) you can do it for 70 usd, but I want certainty, and that is what this well organised tour gave me. The lakes are very beautiful, the roads up there a bit hazardous though.Written June 19, 2024
- txferg990 contributions5* experience, high integrityOur experience was amazing. We got to see the rugged beauty of the land, the wonder and mystery of the culture, and the amazing hospitality of the people. Our tour guide (Bobojohn) was simply amazing. He knew so much and taught us with a caring teacher's heart. He got us into locations and venues that were closed or not accepting - this guy knows everybody! Can't say enough about the professionalism, care, hospitality, and integrity of the trip. Would travel with them any day.Written June 2, 2024
- Aferg000 contributionsHighly RecommendIncredible! Highly recommend. We went on a 7-day private tour. Our guide was Bobojohn. We could not have dreamed of a better guide. The service was exceptional. From the moment you arrive at the airport to when you return, you will not need to worry about a thing. Bobojohn did a fantastic job revealing to us the beauty of Tajikistan.Written June 2, 2024
- theresat8120 contributionsWonderful Guide in DushanbeHokim is a wonderful guide. He’s knowledgeable, friendly and well mannered. He speaks English very well. I enjoyed his tour and also getting to know him. Bunyod as the agency was also easy to work with. They are organized and responsive. I would recommend them to those who are looking to explore Dushanbe and beyond.Written June 1, 2024
- Mdurian0 contributionsScenic drive and stunning rock formationLots of driving through beautiful landscapes before arriving at this special place. Enjoyed watching life go by on farms and in villages along the road, and the lake by a damm was very pretty. Stunning views and few visitors made this feel like a very peaceful place. The pickup was punctual, good driver and friendly guide, and while the lunch was fairly dull this was overall a very nice day. Lots of opportunities to take good pictures. The trip took 10h with a stop at the Hulbuk Castle on the way back. Overall, expensive trip but a big delight. If you can afford it don’t hesitate to go there.Written May 28, 2024
- Mdurian0 contributionsHalf-day tour to Hissar FortA nice and easy three hour half-day trip. Picked up on time in a new EV. Nice guided tour of Hissar and the castle complex. Good lunch before drop off. Overall a good experience.Written May 28, 2024
- Mdurian0 contributionsPleasant day excursion from DushanbeScenic drive through snow covered mountains to a pretty lake. Visited a number of sights around the lake - a 500m hike to a water fall, a flat grass area near the lake, and a sister lake. We had lunch by the Iskanderkul lake with local families and walked around and enjoyed the pleasant climate and fresh air. The driver/guide was excellent and shared many stories and insights. We were two solo travellers and it was a nice day trip - we started off at 8am and we were back around 15:30-16:00. The car (a Lexus) made the drive comfortable.Written May 27, 2024
- Mdurian0 contributionsGood start visiting Dushanbe and the country.Punctual pickup, decent car, young and friendly guide, and a good program to get to learn a bit about the capital and country. Started off with a walk around national monuments and parks. Visited the national museum that came to life thanks to a knowledgeable and enthusiastic museum guide. Visited some form of new presidential VIP center for high level meetings with lots of intricate wood carvings, marble, massive doors, huge round tables and heavy chandeliers - very picturesque kitch. The lunch at this center was a delicious plov, but I picked up a stomach bug either from the lemon tea or goat curd. We then visited a market/bazaar and more monuments plus a botanical garden that was very pleasant. The guide’s English and insights were somewhat limited but he was kind and friendly and took good care of me - overall I enjoyed this tour very much. It took around 6.5h in total.Written May 27, 2024

- Liz_hickson0 contributionsWonderful Hiking in TajikistanWe had the best time on our tour to the Seven Lakes. This company had been wonderful to deal with since we first made contact with them in Australia in terms of prompt communication and very explicit with content of the tour and pricing. Hokim our guide was excellent and again had great communication in terms of the plan for our trip and what to expect. The scenery is stunning and our hike in the mountains memorable and just what we wanted. The Home Stay in the mountains was perfect and we will never forget our Taj Breakfast by the river chatting to Hokim. We have been to over 120 countries and would highly recommend this company to help you enjoy the wonders of Tajikistan.Written May 26, 2024
