We have travelled a lot, but never this comfortable and relaxed. At first we got a concept itinerary and hotel suggestions for our trip (25 days in total), which we amended to our liking and interests. Communication about this was flawless. The destinations and hotels were well chosen and all booked, as was the requested mini van. For our daily program the itinerary gave many suggestions, but we were completely free in what we eventually did. In mr. Prasad we found the best driver possible. He is a relaxed, yet very confident driver, who guided us safely through traffic in the most impossible places. He also took us to the nicest local food places, and occasionally he acted as our interpreter. He would pick us up at any place and any time we wanted, and made sure the van was clean and provided with drinking water and umbrellas against the hot afternoon sun. We chose LANKAN DETOURS as our tour guides for our recent trip to Sri Lanka. From our initial query to the last day of our holiday even after tour, DETOURS offered a fantastic support. Mr.Prashanth initially helped us with our itinerary, always responding quickly in a pleasant and supportive way. We spent 12 days in Sri Lanka with Mr.Roshan as our guide and visiting the Cultural Triangle, Nuwara Eliya and Ella and then on to Yala and finally on a Beach. Mr.Roshan was always pleasant and polite and provided best and interesting infos at each site. The vehicle was perfect and clean each morning, air conditioned and comfortable and the driving is very safe. We mentioned that LANKAN DETOURS book all our tickets in advance and this meant that our local guides, safari drivers etc were always waiting for us on our arrival and we never queued at any site. Mr.Roshan revised our itinerary to guarantee that we saw everything we wanted to see in Sri Lanka and where possible added in additional places of interest when we had time. He had a ton of local knowledge and was always happy to stop when we wanted a closer look at something. We had great memories in Sri Lanka and we highly recommend LANKAN DETOURS and Mr.Roshan for any visitors to Sri Lanka. We couldn't imagine anything better than LANKAN DETOURS & will be booking with LANKAN DETOURS again for sure.

We had used Lankan deTours Tours (LDT) in 2017 from a one day visit to Colombo, where we visited Kandy and the Elephants in transit. LDT were prescribed by others on our companions, who had used them previously. They were on schedule on time, proficient and considerate, and a private visit for 5 of us, turned out a lot less expensive than a organized tour. So in Jan this year, we had no hesitation  in reaching them once more, for our one week visit to Sri Lanka, on our arrival from the Singapore They were again and as expected, very professional in the design of our custom tours for 5 people and we went on 4 separate tours with them. Costs were very reasonable and we would have no   hesitation suggesting them and using them once more. we were fortunate to get both Singapore and Sri Lanka in, before this frightful virus had increase. Our family did a private multi day voyage through Sri Lanka, we were gotten up air terminal and went around the nation visiting various attractions in Kandy, Newara Eliya and Galle. We solicited to remain at intriguing lodgings from exceptionally high standing. We mentioned a proficient driver direct. Everything was simply great: our guide Rishan was prompt, delicate, learned and continually ready to agree to our solicitations or recommending a superior method for getting things done. No solicitation was left unanswered. Selection of inns was magnificent maybe except for Kandy. The recommended visits were additionally generally excellent. Exceptionally proficient travel organization.

The day started with a very prompt pickup from the hotel at 7 am, where we were greeted by a friendly driver and off we went on our road trip towards the Udawalawe National Park. Two large bottles of chilled water were provided, but as it was a long drive, travellers should probably best watch their water consumption during the ride, but luckily it was not the driver's first rodeo so he knows exactly where to go for toilet breaks when nature calls. Upon the end of the first leg of the journey, we arrived at a resort near the National Park, where we had a local buffet lunch; obviously it was not a five star hotel buffet, but it was definitely better than any packed lunch, and was genuinely above our expectations. After lunch, we got onto the sightseeing off-road-er and entered the park. Long story short: elephants, peacocks, eagles, buffaloes...yidi yada...The driver from the road trip also got on, and became the second spotter of animals together with the off-road-er driver. They were quite knowledgeable as to what the animals were, but did not go on to give a lecture about them, which we thought was very appropriate. For the next few hours, we spot different animals, stop for pictures...the usual touristy things. The driver was very accommodating for us and quite observant to how much time to stop for each occasion. When it rained during the Safari visit, the driver literally stopped and jumped out to install the rain guards for us, and roll them back up when we prompted him when we thought the rain was small enough to resume normal open viewing. After the park, we went back to the resort to change cars, and off we went again for the homeward bound journey. The entire day was planned and very well executed. Note to travellers who are worried about waking up early: don't be! You will have plenty of opportunities (and time) to sleep on the journey to and from the park. Great experience; 5/5.

Again we have traveled with Lankan DeTours. These people mean good business! All From Staff to Driver are Thorough professionals and punctual.Our driver was a fantastic guy, who was extremely polite, knowledgeable and careful about the passenger's requirements. We were traveling with old parents and young children but he made sure that everyone's taken care of. The car was in excellent condition and he drove very well too. I'd definitely recommend them to everyone visiting Sri Lanka and would surely use their services.

Recently we did an amazing 15 days tour with Lankan Detours. Contacted Lankan Detours after contacting two other companies, I found online and was very pleased to receive a fantastic tour plan within one hour time. Mr. Roshan made us a very good tour plan to visit all major sites around Sri Lanka in our 15 free days. The itinerary included starting from Colombo airport - Sigiriya - Pasikuda - Kandy - Ella - Udawalawa - Mirissa and Bentota before our late night departure. It was a all included package with hotels and everything we needed like Entrance tickets, parking fees etc. Mr. Niroshan was our tour guide and driver for the whole trip. And Niroshan was amazing throughout. He shared many historical facts and many information about his beautiful country. He showed us many good places to eat and pointing out wild life on our funny drives around Sri Lanka. The car was lovely and very comfortable. We felt very safe in the car every time. Hi, Lankan Detours I have just visited Sri Lanka for week time with Lankan Detours. It was absolutely pleasant tour and Lankan Detours team had arranged everything so nicely that I couldn’t have to look for any options starting from airport pick up to end drop off at airport. Would especially thanks to Prashanthan and other team members who has made my holiday one of the most memorable pleasant. Majority places were covered nicely so that i can make maximum visit to places and spend maximum time at the places. Besides these, as it was personal customized tour which had covered Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara eliya, Bentota, Galle, Colombo and off course the places which are nearby these cities as well. Whatever I had spent for this it was really worth it. Any tour cannot be pleasant if we do not have the friendly guide and driver.
