Our trip around Sri Lanka with D Lanka travels and Dila was more than we could ever ask for. He was so accommodating and worked with us to show us some truly special and amazing experiences. Some highlights we’re staying at an amazing hotel with a sunset view over some of the tea plantations, the cultural dance show in Kandy and so many other little things that Dila gave us a choice of doing. He quickly understood the kind of travellers we were and what kind of trip we would like. He went above and beyond to give us incredible memories of such a beautiful country. It quickly become one of my favourite countries I have ever visited and probably the best tour I have ever done!!! Thank you so much!

I highly recommend D Lanka Travels. Dila organised an unforgettable trip for me and my friend. When choosing our tour guide, D Lanka's itinerary really stood out. We travelled to Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwaraeliya, Bentota, Colombo and Negombo. However, what made the trip even more incredible is that Dila went out his way to make sure we experienced as much of Sri Lanka outside of the itinerary as possible. I drove a bull cart and a tuk tuk, visited a small village and helped prepare rottis and sambol, tasted toddy (palm sap), and visited a woodcarver, batik factory and herbal garden. We had a go at White Water Rafting as well as some other water sports. We also visited many smaller temples that were not listed on the itinerary. Our hotels were extremely comfortable - my favourite being a tree house in Sigiriya. Dila was a very welcoming and knowledgeable tour guide. He was also able to recommend the best places for sunrises, sunsets and where to eat lunch and dinner. It was one of the most memorable trips I have ever been on, in an incredibly beautiful country. We (mother, father and son) spent 2 weeks travelling with Dilanka throuhout Sri Lanka. Dilanka is, with no doubt, a very interesting and pleasant person : always there when you need, always in a good mood. He was attentive to our wishes for visits and activities and adapted the programme consequently. Besides, at the time of our visits, he was studying history, culture,religion of his country, so could answer many questions we had about the places we were visiting.
