In January / February we (my wife and I) stay 3 weeks at Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo Sri Lanka. The hotel is nearly a resort in town with the pool and the green suronding and lake view. The staff there are giving excellent service. Starting with Concierge desk and their Chief Mr. Fernando to the Guest Service Manager Miss Nathli Fernado, their both doing everything to make our stay to be so easy and comfortable as possible.

Hello, We rented a small 15-seater bus for our family. We were very satisfied with the service, which exceeded our expectations. We received child seats as requested. The bus was in very good condition. The driver was very reassuring and responded to all our requests. Alain

On arrival we were provided with "Tour itinerary" which looked great just to many temples and luck of cultural local Sri Lanka elements. Driver was amazingly experience and managed to do really very difficult maneuverers - Big Big thank you - Highly recommend! Unfortunately we found our guide Ruwan Karunathilaka not very ready for this trip. He is very nice friendly personality, but far away from good guide. We missed all available information during 8 days ride, we missed his organisation skills visiting famous tourist places. Very big disappointment and money lost we suffered trying to get on famous train from Eliya to Ella (Ruwan managed to get overpriced ticked but we didn't manged to get the train because of daily crazy situation and our big 18 people group - guide just left us in train station and took money for it). Will I recommend company for private trips - YES. Will I suggest guide Ruwan - No.

We had a really pleasent trip with Markas. Very good comunication with Company - they arranged trip plan for our needs (we travelled with 3 small kids, so we have special needs). Driver picked us ap from Airport and spent 11 days with us. Van was very comfortable and clean. Markas is really nice, helpful and kind. If we need stop or change plan - he did. He showed us so many beautiful places and told many details about places, culture and country. He was very helpful also for everyday needs, like founding laundry, supermarket or restaurants. But if we wanted go somewhere else, he was ok with it. Price was good, they arranged car seats for our kids (many companies didn't have that option). Markas took good care about our family, so we had really good time and opportunities to discover beautiful Sri Lanka. Hope to visit this island again.

After 5 years we finally got to do our 14 day tour with Drivers in Sri Lanka after having to cancel in 2020 due to covid! Cannot recommend this company highly enough with punctual communication on Whatsapp with Tarith who organised our itinerary and answered the many questions I had! Our driver Podi was excellent and such a generous person who showed us the real Sri Lanka, he introduced us to all the local food and many of his friends. The itinerary is full on but I had researched and chose what we wanted to visit. Hotels were all fine especially Terebella, Nuwara Eliya and Mimoza, Mirissa which were excellent. Thanks for a fantastic holiday at a great price, just be prepared for some high entrance fees for some sites which have nothing to do with Drivers in Sri Lanka. Thanks again to Podi, we are going to miss you ❤️

This was our first trip to Sri Lanka with 15 close friends and family. From the day we landed in Colombo till the day we left back, Ash and the driver Dinesh made us feel comfortable and were very professional and knowledgeable. We went to Galle, Sigiriya, Kandi and Colombo. Ash was very friendly and punctual. He had many great food recommendations. I would recommend using Ash for any travels across Sri Lanka.

Drivers in Sri Lanka is the best company to go with if you’re planning a trip. I contemplated a hiring a driver/tour service for my husband and I as we usually travel on our own, but this experience was amazing. We did a 13 day tour and got so much out of it, I truly felt it was the best way to see the country! The booking process was easy, and everyone in the office and on WhatsApp were straight forward, quick to reply and helpful! We chose to book our own hotels, and they were added to the itinerary! The office continued to check on us throughout our tour as well! No need to book excursions other than the train journey before you arrive- everything is arranged as you travel very seamlessly! Easy to add or take away any of the itinerary! Our driver was Mahesh, and from the first day he was extremely kind, professional, and very knowledgeable! He helped make arrangements everyday, and his recommendations were always helpful! We ended up losing our seats for the Blue train to Ella that we booked a month in advance due to an overbooking issue. Mahesh was able to very quickly get us tickets for an earlier train and rearrange the itinerary- So grateful, and very impressed! When we showed up for the Kandy cultural show- he had front row seats reserved for us- there was always a surprise or a plan! We truly trusted all of his suggestions and it made our trip amazing. The tour felt very comfortable and natural the entire time, and way more than just site-seeing! All of the company’s affiliates and partners were incredible throughout the country- and I felt we had the best guides/drivers on all of our safaris and excursions! We spent a few extra days at the beach after our tour ended and Mahesh continued to follow up and offered tons of help! We really had the most special time. The car was cleaned every morning and kept in tip top shape. The air conditioning and water bottles made traveling so comfortable and relaxing! After speaking to some other tourists, they said their experiences with drivers were not very informative or helpful- purely transportation… This company is truly above and beyond. Look no further if you are planning a trip or contemplating hiring a driving service! Trust the process and enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka. Cannot wait to go back!

This review is long overdue. We visited Sri Lanka in Dec 2024 and went on a road trip from Colombo-Pinnawala-Kandy-Nuwara Eliya-Ella-Negombo. This was our first time visiting Sri Lanka. We booked the tour with Drivers in Sri Lanka and they did an amazing job. Prior to visiting Sri Lanka we contacted them and expressed our interest in visiting certain cities and specific tourist spots and Dilshan Perera did a great job in coming up with an itinerary based on our interests. They were not only very accommodative with our requests but also very prompt in responding to any questions that we had. The trip was a lot of time on the road, and the whole trip was smooth and easy because of our knowledgeable guide and driver. The driver knew what restaurants to pick (based on our dietary restrictions) and places to see. He went beyond the itinerary to pick places that would be of interest to us. He was very personable, stayed with my mom, and gave her company in the car in places that were hard for her to walk/climb. Very experienced driver, you cannot go wrong in going with Drivers in Sri Lanka. We will certainly contact them for our next trip and will recommend them to our friends and family.
