We had a fantastic 12 day tour with our driver Podi.
We brought our 15 month old son along too and Podi was extremely considerate of our needs when it came to our young child.
I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough and would strongly encourage you to book a driver with them!

We had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka thanks to Drivers in sri lanka . We had a friendly and helpful mail correspondence with Namal before our trip to help plan everything. Once we arrived company did everything to make our stay memorable. If we wanted to change the itinerary that was no problem. They adapted tot suit our wishes. We booked mostly medium range hotels through them which were clean and good value for money. The views there were often spectacular. The last couple of days we stayed at a higher range hotel they had arranged and that was also very special. I would recommend Drivers in sri lanka to anyone wanting to visit Sri Lanka. A special word of thanks to podi our driver. Nothing was too much for him to make our vacation special and comfortable. When it started raining while visiting the botanical gardens he suddenly appeared to give us an umbrella! He had excellent suggestions for places to eat. Thank you for the great time we had in your beautiful country. Value of money.

Our driver is namal he was quick to respond to our e-mails, he assisted in planning an itinerary, its very easy to chat with whata app he bought us train tickets from Nuwara Eliya to Ella before we arrived . Its free from company .its not easy task & very hard to do it yourself.they give free sim card .
Namal was professional, he was always on time, his car is spot on in great condition & clean. He was always helpful to make suggestions i.e. photo spots, other sights to visit on the way, places to taste the local food we wanted to try etc.
He is the driver you want to go for when in Sri Lanka, he is safe & patient driver. We spent with namal full days, we went to Dambulla, Sigirya.polonnaruwa , Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, adams peak , Ella, Udawalawe, Mirissa & Galle. He arrange pcr test.
We also appreciated the fact that Namal has a similar respect towards animals as we do and he doesnt support unethical animl attractions. He took us to ethical places such as Elephant Transit Home, which really is great place to see Elephant babies & learn more about these majestic animals. They help the orphaned elephant babies until they are ready to be released to the wild. There is none or minimal human contact, so that they dont get used to humans and would manage well once back in the wild. You get to see them at 9am in the morning from behind the barrier, when the babies come to drink milk

We had a truly wonderful 10 days with Ruwan. He completely put us at ease and his driving made us feel safe and comfortable, which is something to be said in a country where the traffic is not quite what it is at home. Ruwan was also very knowledgable of his country and spoke very good English. He provided genuinely outstanding service and was always on the lookout to see that we were ok and our needs were catered to. He made sure our excursions happened on time, that we had great seats and that everything was to our satisfaction. He was the perfect host and guide. My wife and I couldn’t speak more highly of him.
I chose Drivers in Sri Lanka because the owner Senaka provided the best response to my request for a quote and also politely pointed out where the itinerary I had put together would and wouldn’t work. He continued to be the most responsive to my emails. I found him to be true and genuine to his word and would have no hesitation in recommending the company to anyone who is interested in getting to see Sri Lanka. Without doubt a car and driver is the best way to go.

What a fabulous trip!
We specifically asked to see animals, so the Drivers in Sri Lanka made a itinerary specifically for us. We did two safaris and the elephant orphanage. The highlights were feeding an elephant at the orphanage and the Kaudulla National park safari .
Our driver Nilanka , was fantastic and looked after us really well. Every request we had, from a beach towel purchase , finding a post office or a fuse for our plug, he managed to solve our problem.
He took us to local restaurants , knew all the best fruit stalls and stopped along the way when he spotted something interesting, such as elephants in the river.
We have enjoyed every minute of the trip.

The driver (Ajith) is an amazingly experienced driver in Sri Lankan tourism. He recommended some lovely places for the kids to enjoy. He is a very trusted person. He understood our expectations and exceeded them. Driving very safely, you could tell he was a very experienced driver. He also had a very deep and wide historical knowledge of the places that he took us too, as well as very fascinating and entertaining facts for us. As a demonstration of this, he had a fact for every corner and building we passed and provided knowledge most importantly for our children, as they were very excited to discover a brand new country. Furthermore, he was exceedingly patient with us when we were viewing the landmarks and also when eating. He didn’t rush and always checked we were ready to go before leaving. patient with Also, when we were hungry he knew the perfect place for us to eat. As well as that, Tarith Udara and Seena Kamal kept on checking on us to ensure that things were going smoothly. The places Ajith took us to eat were hygienic, spacious, pleasant and with a good view. Overall we are very happy and impressed and also booked them for another trip already. We will definitely highly recommend Ajith ( the driver) to other people for a wonderful experience like we had .

We visited Sri Lanka with Drivers in Sri Lanka in the last week. It was an amazing tour. We thought that the ongoing economic crisis and fuel shortage should have affected for our tour but the team at Drivers made it happen and made it excellent. Saman was incredible, always very active, finding fuel when lines were kilometers long without waiting, and circumnavigating the challenges of making sure accommodation, meals, and activities happened in time and in a positive and enjoyable way. He is a knowledgeable and positive guide who really knows the ins and outs of his country. Sri Lanka is Very beautiful and the people are very peaceful even though in this crisis. Also Drivers in Sri Lanka team was checking about us daily via WhatsApp to make sure everything was going well. We are highly recommend to visit Sri Lanka and book this company as your travel partner.

My wife and I toured Sri Lanka in a chauffeur driven car which had been arranged through Drivers in Sri Lanka. The driver, Reshu was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible; Also we had an mesmerising experience to remember with Drivers in Sri Lanka, right from planning where I was assisted within few minutes by Senaka (MD of the company) & Tarith from operations. They gave us prompt answers anytime we asked a question through WhatsApp and helped to make our itinerary plan with our requirements. We were too late to buy train tickets (Nanu Oya to Ella) but they helped us to buy tickets for our train journey.
Through out 10 Days in Sri Lanka we stayed Colombo, Dambulla, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala & Kalutara. Our driver Reshu always kept the car very clean and everytime he is on-time each day to start the plan. We needed to go dinner outs each day & Reshu was happy to drive for us anytime even night. It was very important to us because if not we have to find another vehicle or tuk tuk. This company offers 24 hours service if we want them anytime.
Each attraction left its own special mark on our overall experience. Special mentions to our Safari driver (Lal) at Yala National Park who helped us spot the elusive bears, this is no easy task but through great coordination and perseverence he manage it, very impressive! Also Train Journey Nanu Oya to Ella which was a great experience particular for train buffs (you must do this if you visit Sri Lanka).
We highly recommend Drivers in Sri Lanka and Reshu, if you are planning a trip to Sri Lanka!

Firstly, we would like draw attention to our incredibly helpful, friendly and very professional guide/driver Podi (Kumara). From both me and my partner we would like to thank Podi for making our trip to Sri Lanka very special and a memory we will continue to cherish for the rest of our lives. Without Podi's guidance and knowledge our trip would have been no where near as easy, relaxing and interesting, his awareness of the country and its locales provided us with a truly unique experience of such beautiful country, we would recommend his services to any of our friends looking to travel in Sri Lanka. Thanks again Podi, you are a star!
We both feel that with the amount of activities we did and style of accomodation provided, that this tour package was really good value for money. The ease of having transport to each area provided made our trip completely stress free. Sri lankan public transport can be difficult to navigate at times and the interior of the country's infrastructure is still developing. For these reasons having transport provided is by far the best way to go and we would always recommend having a driver to take a lot of the stress away.
All accomodation provided was to a high standard and the food provided by the various hotels was also good with special mention to Elephant Entrance (Habarana), the pool was a fantastic surprise and the hotel decor is both new and homley. We were also given an ad lib Sri Lankan cooking class at Grand Halabana (Yala) which was a great experience, the hotel also had a fantastic view of Wirawila Lake.
The activities on the tour gave us a real experience of Sri Lankan culture and although some of these attraction tickets were not included in the tour price, the cost for these activities was reasonable (around £370 altogether for two people) and each attraction left its own special mark on our overall experience. Special mentions to our Safari driver (Jack) at Yala National Park who helped us spot the elusive Leopard, this is no easy task but through great coordination and perseverence he manage it, very impressive!
Other highlights of the tour for us were Sigiriya, Village Tour (Habarana), Temple of the Tooth (Kandy), Tea Plantations/Tea Factory (Nurwara Eliya), Train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella (this is an absolute must do/bucket list item!), Little Adams Peak & Secret Waterfall (Ella), Diyaluma Waterfall & Yala Safari (Yala), Whale watching & Mirissa Beach (Mirissa). I tried to keep this concise but there were just so many highlights that needed to be mentioned!
Overall we highly would recommend Drivers in Sri Lanka to organise your tour of this wondrous and beautiful island nation. We hope to return soon!

Ich möchte die Tour ab Negombo machen bis an die Südküste Galle Fort. Ist es möglich eventuell auf 12 Tage auszudehnen? Was würde es dann kosten. Welche Nebenkosten entstehen zusätzlich. Was ist in der Tour enthalten? Vielen Dank Roland
