Start your journey at 6 AM from Negombo and proceed to Kandy, en route visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, renowned for its variety of plants which are, ornamental, decorative & medicinal. More than 4000 species including indigenous and introduced plants. This garden is best known for its collection of orchids which is the largest in Asia. Guests typically spend 1 and half hours in the garden. Then visit the Temple of the Tooth, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which was built in the 16th century as the place of veneration and protection for Lord Buddha’s sacred tooth. Walk through the beautifully embellished passageways and elaborately painted halls, done in red, cream and black. Lounge against delicately carved pillars and get amazed by the beautiful golden statues. Get an unforgettable experience of history and art. After visiting the Temple of the Tooth have lunch at a place of your choice and then proceed to enjoy the Cultural Dance Show. When you watch the cultural dance show be escorted to a performance of the traditional Kandyan dance, accompanied by tumultuous drumming. Dances include the cobra dance, mask dance, the Ginisisila, showing power over fire. The entire frenetic and colorful spectacle climaxes with the amazing fire-walking act. On completion of your journey we will drop you back to your hotel in Negombo.
