Chin has been a wonderful driver and guide during our 10 days stay in Sri Lanka. He is always smiling and he is such a relaxed and chill person. We had a lot of fun, we did learn a lot of things about SL culture and history. I think it is because of him that we understood the authenticity of this country. Chin took care of us all the time, he helped me order food that is not spicy ( I have a problem with that), he helped us with everything.

My experience in Srilanka was unforgettable. When I landed, I was greeted by a person full of enthusiasm and energy, this was our guide Chin. Chin was recommended to my wife and I by a friend and we are so glad we went ahead with Chin for our holiday. He was the best! As soon as we reached out to Chin via WhatsApp, he responded instantly letting us know his availability and pricing per day for the trip. Chin also asked us about our plan/itinerary and emailed us a tailor made plan with recommendations of budget/mid-range/high end hotels for our dates and route for consideration. Before our trip there was economic unrest in Sri Lanka, so we kept in touch with Chin before our trip to find out if it was safe to travel and he kept us well informed. This was above & beyond, and much appreciated. We decided to go ahead with our trip and felt confident and safe knowing that we would have a trustworthy with local knowledge showing us around. We spent 2.5 weeks in Sri Lanka, Chin met us at our first hotel in Negombo and stayed with us for 10 days, until we were dropped off at the South of the island for a few days at a beach resort. Chin was always providing great recommendations of places to sight see in every town we visited without being pushy at all. Chin also helped us to book certain excursions which required calling local numbers or using his mobile hot spot occasionally for internet, when necessary, which was going above and beyond the scope of his job (very kind thanks Chin!). Chin also went out of his way to help sort taxis for us at the end of our trip (after we had said bye!) to move hotels and even picked us up for our drive to the airport, as we were struggling for nearby options. Chin’s car is comfortable, and he provides water bottles, hand sanitiser & masks. He was also more than happy to let us listen to whatever music we wanted 🙂. Nothing was too much trouble Chin, and he was always extremely helpful every time. Overall Chin is a friendly and happy go lucky guy that we enjoyed spending our holiday with. Chin was always keeping our safety and comfort at the forefront of his mind and most of all was the most lovely and genuine person we met. Thanks so much Chin and don’t hesitate to book with Chin! We will certainly be recommending Chin to any friends and family visiting Sri Lanka in the future.

Nilanga, our driver, is not only an experienced and excellent chofer but also an amazing tour guide. He provided help with booking every activity restaurant and hotel, and was always willing to take us anywhere. Moreover the car was always new, very good quality, we also could play our music. We didn’t have adicional charges despite asking continuous for trips and activities. We will recommend 100% the experience

Our experience in Sri Lanka has been one of our best holidays so far, largely thanks to our outstanding driver/guide Chin. He made our 2 weeks holidays PERFECT. I have traveled a lot in Asia and this has been the best service I have seen so far - I would highly recommend to anyone going to Sri Lanka. Chin has been kind, always cheerful & positive-minded, funny, taught us a lot about Sri Lanka, spoke great English, gave us great recommendations helping us avoid all the tourists traps, was an excellent driver, was also a knowledgeable guide (he even accompanied us hiking), was incredibly flexible (we changed our plans so many times, asking him many times in the morning to meet us way earlier than what we had said the previous night, or to come pick us up for dinner in few minutes while we had told him we wouldn’t need him for the day anymore, and he was always there on time with a smile - we even decided one evening to shorten our hotel stay in Haputale & go to Ella instead the next day!), he made everything during our stay so easy (negotiating for us, booking places, arranging PCR tests), and lastly he had a lot of nice attentions (regularly offering us treats and even a nice gift to bring back home, and even offering us to come shower and have dinner at his place before our late return flight). At the end of the trip, he asked us if there was anything he could improve to best serve future guests, but nothing could come to our mind, even though as French people we do love complaining :p He is a GEM that drivers companies in Sri Lanka should fight to hire :) THANK YOU!
