My wife and i booked a 16 day holiday with Secret Escapes to Sri Lanka in January 2025.We had already been to India and South Africa with them so was looking forward to it.Well it lived up to our expectations.What a lovely country and wonderful people.We crammed a lot of sight seeing over the two weeks and stayed at lovely hotels.A special mention of thanks to our driver Felix Fernando.What a star.He drove us all over the island and told us the history of all the places we visited.He told us about trees ,plants and wildlife.I doubt if any knows more about Sri Lanka than Felix.I would definitely recommend Sri Lanka to visit.Ask for Felix to be your driver. Wonderful tour operator. It is a private tour. Very affordable and the driver was very friendly. The manager who manages this is kind and helpful. Definitely recommended. Right from pickup to drop at the hotel was smoothly planned and executed.

I recently visited Sigiriya, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya. The trip was safe and comfortable led by a knowledgeable guide. While we didn’t visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress this time, the village experience in Sigiriya was truly memorable. However, I feel that Sigiriya Rock is a must see and should be included in future itineraries. Kandy impressed with its cultural heritage, while Nuwara Eliya’s cool climate and landscapes were beutiful. The hotel in Kandy was decent, though it didn’t quite match the quality of the one in Nuwara Eliya. Sri Lanka truly has a diverse array of flavors to offer, blending history, culture, and natural beauty!

We booked with Kingfisher Sri Lanka Tours after reading positive reviews and were glad we did. The itinerary was well-planned and executed with necessary improvisation! We were provided spacious, comfortable vehicle. Our driver, Ishan, was knowledgeable, accommodating, and passionate—making the journey smooth and enjoyable. Aashiq’s support and flexibility in adjusting the itinerary enhanced the trip further. However, hotel selections could be improved, especially in locations like Mirissa, Sigiriya and Colombo! The initial guide didn’t stand the expectations and was sent back, Ishan did the job. With minor adjustments, Kingfisher Tours can offer a good experience. We are a group of 17 adults and 5 kids booked our family reunion in Sri Lanka with kingfisher tours srilanka We had an amazing experience as everything went very well and smooth. We were greeted with garlands of flowers at the airport and our guide Mahesh was with a nice smile on his face for our startup, the vehicle was big and we had enough space for legs. Throughout the tour Aashik, the manager was in touch always to check weather we are okay and they are very flexible for all our needs. our guide Mahesh was very knowledgeable and polite, he even sang some srilankan songs to cheer us up. He explained every places we visited and the hotels are in a super attractive locations with great customer service and geographical locations We were sad to leave this beautiful island after our 14 days of travel but we will definitely come back soon induvidually or group to explore more from what this island offers. Sri Lanka is truly a paradise and without Kingfisher Tours Sri Lanka we wouldn’t have made it !!

I had a fantastic time exploring Colombo with the friendly M. Ferose. We visited harbors, temples, restaurants, museums, and enjoyed many beautiful night views.

Ferose was amazing! He was a great driver and was able to answer all our questions and was a very nice person. We felt at ease being 2 female travellers and he was really friendly. Would definitely recommend. Also pay in cash because it is better for the tour guides!

I chartered a car with a driver for 10 days from airport pickup in Colombo to airport drop-off on the way back. The driver was punctual and drove well in Colombo, Candi, Dambulla, and Anuradapura. If you want to go to the bathroom on the way, he will stop by a clean cafe. When he found out that I was interested in Buddhist ruins, he also stopped by small temple ruins which I didn’t know and I experienced a very healing feeling there. If you say that where you are not interested or don't need to go, they will skip it, don’t worry. Driver was so nice to let me in Kandy Railway Station as I want to see it in. Thank you.
