Great Service, Great Price, Great Company
Our trip through Hunza with Apricot Tours was outstanding. We booked a custom 4-day trip with them and they were extremely helpful and flexible in helping us plan our trip. They were able to help plan every detail of our journey, including arranging our flights to and from Skardu. I would highly recommend speaking to someone from Apricot Tours and letting them know what kind of trip you are interested in doing and let them plan an itinerary. They'll know exactly where to stay, eat, and visit on the trip and will take away your stress around planning all the small details. The cost was incredibly reasonable for the service we received and we will recommend Apricot Tours to all of our friends visiting Pakistan. Special thanks to our tour guide Ayaz and driver Israr. They made the trip very special and were friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to have with us on the tour!

An exhilarating tour of arguably the most beautiful place on Earth
I have the highest possible opinion of Apricot Tours - Ahmed organised an absolutely splendid tour - every day went well - I saw many fascinating places places and people in Skardu, Shigar, Hunza, Gilgit and Nagar. My principal guide Ayaz is the nicest guy to travel with imaginable - charming, courteous, helpful and interesting. Similarly my driver Zafar was among the best drivers I have ever experienced and a really nice guy too. We drove from Islamabad to Skardu initially - a remarkable drive through the foothills, then through Kohistan, Chilas and Gilgit/Baltistsn. In my last two days I was accompanied by another delightful young man to Peshawar Asif Khan (Happy) - he went out of his way to be helpful and he was good company to be with. Apricot Tours also organised an excellent driver Usman Ali to drive me to and from Lahore - a long drive from Islamabad - we got on extremely well. I was exceptionally lucky with the weather in the north - although chilly at night almost everyday was bright and sunny. March may not be for everyone but it suited me perfectly - the mountains look at their best and spring is just arriving

        BEST TREK EVER!
Hand down the best hike, or trek I have been on, the team lead by Jamil was first rate, the food the guiding, the cultural knowledge, and the experience were non-stop impressive. We managed to see everything we had hoped for and I will be there again for sure.

An absolutely amazing and unforgettable trek to K2 base camp and over Gondogoro La
An absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience. Not only were the views probably the best you can get anywhere in the world, but the food was phenomenal as well. Nisar is a very experience and good guide and generally the team did an excellent job. I had only two complaints (plus one small one): we were supposed to overnight at K2 base camp, and this was a BIG issue for me, but the guides decided that we would not overnight there, despite several of us complaining. When the itinerary specifically says you are staying in K2 base camp, and that's what I paid for, I expect to stay there. Not staying there, was a real disappointment, as I have been looking forward to that for more than 3 decades. The second issue is that when we did Gondogoro La pass, our assistant guide was sent out ahead to book accommodation at Saitcho, which means that when the group encountered problems after the crossing, there was nobody to assist (the lead guide, Nisar, had to stay with one of the team members that was struggling). Not having any guide on arguably the most difficult section of the whole trek was not acceptable. The third (small) complaint is that the staff that took our group photos really have no idea how to take photos and in all the photos they took, you can only see the team members but none of the mountains. The whole purpose of the group photos was to see us in the mountains/in front of K2. However, don't let these few complaints throw you. The trip was life-changing and if I ever had the opportunity to hike in Pakistan again, I would have no problem choosing Apricot Tours again.

        Brilliant experience with Apricot Tours!!!!
Apricot Tours provided us with basecamp services for Spantik. Having never done anything like this before, we contacted Apricot with a lot of questions. They were always very responsive and very informative. We decided to go with them because they were competitively priced but also more responsive than any of the other companies we contacted. Everything was arranged as described before the trip, hotels were really nice and transport was taken care of. All the food cooked at basecamp was incredible! Genuinely amazed at how good it was! There was variety in the food and it was hot and there was plenty of it, the team really did an amazing job. On the mountain we did run into some trouble with other companies, they wanted to try and charge us for fixed lines being set up when we were not using them. It was clear that the three other companies did not bring sufficient rope and equipment to set up all the fix lines they needed. They were asking us for equipment to support this endeavour. Whilst Apricot weren't providing this service, it did make me glad to be with them. Apricot never gave the impression of being money grabbers that hadn't prepared for the things they were offering. There's really nothing negative to be said about the experience. The team was generally quite young but they all did a brilliant job, they were all good fun and they made it feel like a real team. I had an amazing time and I would 100% use Apricot tours again for supporting a trip into the mountains.

        Experience
Pakistan is wonderful, the people are very welcoming and friendly. However, the trek to the base camp is very difficult and tiring. Maybe I lacked a little preparation. I felt a certain rush in our guide, where he only accompanied the members who were at the front and most prepared, leaving us behind at almost every moment. We needed help, a word of encouragement... I had to give up along the way, due to tiredness. The food is terrible, given the preparation, hygiene and location conditions. The experience was good! Who knows, maybe one day I’ll finish this trek.

        Choose with confidence! Highly recommended!
K2 has been on my dream list for 8 years, and at the end of my 20s, I finally had the opportunity to achieve it. Apricot is the number one online web to provide the tour and I got in touch with Sideeq very quickly by email, thanks for his proactive service and prompt reply, helping me get my trekking visa quickly, and the pre-trip information is very sufficient. Thanks all Apricot staff for taking care of me and helping me throughout my trip. Travelers like me can choose with confidence! I made an unforgettable memory in Pakistan, especially the whole team, 20 days together gave me the opportunity to experience a friendly and fun environment (not to name a little), thanks to the most reliable and experienced guides Amanullah Khan and Afzal, and their porters, all these experiences, together with the magnificent scenery of Karakoram, make up my best memories so far!

Exceptional trek - the most beautiful mountains that I've ever seen! Apricot organized it amazingly - great communication from the very beginning until the very end. Logistics were very smooth and all personnel at Apricot were super helpful and kind. Would definitely use them again if I come back to Pakistan one day.

An Exceptional Road Trip From Islamabad to Khunjerab
Apricot Tours provided a level of professionalism and accommodation that I wish would be adopted by tourism agencies worldwide. From the very initial stages of price inquiries and tailoring itineraries, to the tour itself and the staff involved, Apricot exceeded expectations to make our trip to Pakistan safe, comfortable, eye-opening, and entertaining. Asif Khan from the Islamabad office was always reachable and thorough in his assistance with the paperwork for attaining our visas, as well as accommodating to our specific dates and needs for a modified itinerary. Our guide in the field, Sadrudeen, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was a rewarding and inspiring experience, as we benefitted greatly from his knowledge and personal connections throughout the Gilgit-Baltistan region. Hospitality and honesty were his strongest attributes, further contributing to our sense of security. Our driver, Ejaz, was timely and attentive to safety and comfort, truly commendable for his ability to navigate hundreds of kilometers across challenging terrain for long periods of time. Despite our tour only lasting 9 days (Islamabad to Khunjerab Pass via Hunza and Skardu), it truly felt more like an extended family road trip given the friendly intimate nature of Apricot's staff and contractors. I would highly recommend anyone traveling to Pakistan to consider reaching out these specific individuals and agency.

        Hunza / Fairy Meadows trip
We found out about Apricot Tours through word of mouth with very good feedback! The first thing we liked is that the website itself is very comprehensive. We contacted Asif and he was very prompt with his response and shared multiple itineraries based on our budget, travel dates and preferred locations. Throughout our stay in Fairy Meadows, Hunza and Attabad - the hotels had good amenities and services. The drivers especially were locals and were extremely friendly and professional as we were a little hesitant travelling on the roads up north for the first time. Asif was available throughout the trip for any information we needed. I would recommend Apricot Tours to anyone who wants a stress free and localised experience of Pakistan! Looking forward to planning future trips with the company as well.

Ahmed Apricot coordinator has been very prompt and patient answering all my concerns and questions right up to my trip because i was concerned about going as solo female. And Kamal my guide took excellent care of me throughout the trip making sure all my insecurities and all are taken care of throughout the 2 weeks , see things that he knows as local. So i can set my mind at ease on my solo and totally enjoy the landscapes . Photo i took of kamal.

        Pakistan from South to North
We went to Pakistan for the first time. Having heard a lot of bad stories about this country, we still decided to go. And everything turned out differently. I really liked Pakistan! It is much cleaner than India. The people are much better than in India. There is more decency and responsibility here. There are many educated Pakistanis. Everyone speaks English. Everywhere we were welcome, they gave us advice, helped us, and were happy to take pictures with us. Very interesting different peoples, dresses, traditions. Pakistan holds many treasures, from the magnificent Mahenjo-Daro to ancient cities that saw Darius and Alexander the Great. In Karachi I really liked the Belugian tombs, in Lahore there is definitely a fort and a Flag ceremony on the border with India. The remaining wall paintings in the fort were striking, reflecting the everyday life of the Mogol palace. Islamabad itself is a very beautiful city. Completely safe and European. There are beautiful pine alleys, a magnificent snow-white mosque against the backdrop of mountains, clean air, wide streets and good shops. In Islamabad, you can simply stop and stroll through the parks. There are magnificent museum collections. Gandhara, Harappian civilisation and so on. As for our trip organizer - the APRICOT company - the guys did a great job! Good hotels, good bus, good drivers and great guide Ayaz. Everything was accomplished and even exceeded. We added many excursion objects. When the flight from Sukkur was cancelled, they quickly changed hotels, offering even better ones than they had before. Traveling with them is safe and secure. I highly recommend traveling Pakistan with APRICOT and no one else. You will like Pakistan, no doubt!

One of the most incredible travelling experiences of my entire life! Everything from start to finish was taken care of by Apricot Tourss. From the initial pick up, to accommodation, to food, to any small request, this company knows what its doing. Secure, professional, fun and accommodating. Looking after the needs of every person in our group. Our guide, Salar was a depth of knowledge and super friendly, and even entertained us under starry nights with his soulful singing! Would highly recommend the K2 basecamp and Hunza valley tour. Bang for you buck in one of the safest, most hospitable and stunning places on Earth!

As is first time in Pakistan I decided to use a tour operator. Everything was arranged via email and WhatsApp and that was only good thing. Everything started to go wrong when my flight to Gilget got cancelled. The flight 6.30 AM No fault of the tour company but they were not available to assist as I was stranded at the airport. Asif phone was off and didn’t respond till 12PM. As a tour operator they have a responsibility to see their clients start safely with their trip. Then he arranged to drive to Gilget after paying a another 19K rupees expecting to get my refund on the air ticket. Arrived at the hotel 3AM the morning which also sub standard hotel no hot water in the mornings. The staff of the hotel were very nice and helpful. The next to my surprise the driver didn’t understand English at all. He was actually not experienced and didn’t what he supposed to do. What a big disappointment . Phone Asif regarding the issue and arrange a a supposedly guide but also didn’t know all the places. The worst thing he took the money refunded of the ticket which I never agreed to pay the guide. The second hotel was even worse. Will attach pictures therefore no need for explanation. Only the last hotel was a bit better but same hot water issues. He also did not communicate with me about the road block to Skardu. Very disappointed in Asif
