SPECTACULAR IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
I will start with the road there, one of the scariest you will ever encounter, loose surface, sheer walls up to 1/2 vertical drop and no barriers, you can only get there by their jeep, have the roof off and INSIST the driver goes slowly for the trip of a lifetime. Photos cannot prepare you for the impact of Nanga Parbat's view. Don't expect luxury accommodation, there are basic wooden huts with hotels being built, The downside...litter, trash is regularly thrown off the road/track to the ravine below and is also strewn around the various camps, there was the constant sound of mechanical saws constructing new huts etc, I dont know if this is regulated, I doubt it is sustainable so in time the beauty people go to admire may not be there so the visitors could decrease or even disappear. Apparently a new road is scheduled for 2025, that, with the extra visitors and more to the point , their rubbish could sign the death warrant for what is probably one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the world. Re-cycle the litter, control the logging and building and all will be well,

Siem reap cambogia
