Even before Genghis Khan, Mongolians were legendary horse riders. Follow in the tracks of ancient warriors and modern nomads as you ride through Gorkhi-Terelj National Park with an experienced trainer and a private guide. Join a nomad family for lunch and stop by “ger” tents for salt milk tea and Mongolian hospitality. Most of all, savor the rolling, empty landscapes of one of the least populous countries on earth.
  • Ride horses under the big sky of Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, with a trainer
  • Eat and drink with a local family in their traditional “ger” tent
  • See landmarks including Turtle Rock and Tuul River
  • Leave off-road driving to the experts: Your tour includes transfers

My daughter and I had a great day. Guide spoke excellent English and was very personable. A herdsman brought the horses and took all of us out for a 2+ hour ride. I worked as a cowboy as a young man. When the herdsman found out we could ride well off we went across the steppe.
