About the operator
- Begimai M00Breathtaking tour with amazing guide! We had an unforgettable tour in Ala-Archa gorge. And it’s one of the most beautiful place to visit near the Bishkek city. Our tour guide Maksat was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about the destination, and their expertise truly enhanced the experience. He made our trip memorable. It was a really nice experience booking tour with Atlas Kg. I would highly recommended to everyone their other tours as well.
- stutisusanj00A trip worth remembering! We had a lovely time travelling around Issyk Kul lake. Shoutout to Mars for being the best guide. Everything from travel to food to accommodation was prepared and all we had to do was relax and enjoy. Can’t say enough about Mars and would highly recommend him. Extremely knowledgeable, funny, accommodative and a good singer too lol. On the whole it it was an amazing experience and something you should definitely consider. We had soo much fun. A trip to remember for sure :)
- 655himanshil00Amazing Trip with our Guide Mars!Mars is a very sweet, caring, and funny person. He made sure to do everything to make our experience memorable. We visited many pretty locations, tried local cuisine, and overall enjoyed our trip to the fullest. Thank you, Mars!
- 210summers00That was fun!I had a really nice trip with Maks to Ala-Archa Nationalpark. The communication beforehand was friendly, he seemed to be very professional and speeks perfect English. He was punctual and patient during the trip, could give me some good advice. We had a tea at the riverside after visting the nationalpark and he dropped me where I wished for. Thanks for that amazing day!
- baidjenkee00A beautiful relaxing walk through Ala Archa ParkMaksat was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and easy to chat with which make the trip super enjoyable. The nature in Ala Archa National Park was beautiful at this time of year. I highly recommend this half day trip to the park, thank you!
- H4678LSguillaumes00Amazing tour around Lake Issyk-KulI spent three wonderful days around Lake Issyk-Kul. Mars is an excellent guide who explains things well, passes on Kyrgyz culture and is very friendly. I was delighted to see such beautiful scenery and am already looking forward to returning to Kyrgyzstan using his services.
- haojin00Finest hospitality, superb experience.I always wanted to visit Kyrgyzstan for over 2 years, due to the loads of work it only happened last week during our Eid break. For those who are looking for an adventurous escape, this the agency to book onto directly in Kyrgyzstan. Experience is so great with the variety of programs or tailor made itinerary can also be arranged. Thanks to the finest hospitality of our guide Mars, who speaks Kyrg, English, Russian and even Arabic we felt safe and secured and feel like a local by the end of our trip. Kind note for all: 1. Obtain an e-visa within a month to 3 weeks earlier before the date of your trip. 2. Don't forget to bring an outdoor summer/winter gear for hikes are a mandatory in the itinerary for all season. 3. Currency is Kyrgyzstan Som for the countryside, USD/EUR exchanges are available within the city of Bishkek.
- G2793CLluigia00Exceeded all my expectationsI only know few things about Kyrgyzstan but Mars really helped us understand many things about his beautiful country. He took us to some of the most breathtaking places in Kyrgyzstan, experience the local life and enjoy every second of it. His hospitality is top notch! Thank you Mars for not just letting us experience the beauty of your country but also for building a good friendship. If you like surprises then this tour is perfect for you! Indeed, the best travel so far. Рахмат!!
- jamesdX635BK00The condensed Kyrgyzstan visitThe most pleasant and memorable part of the trip was the guide, Mak. A perfect host with great English, insightful knowledge of Kyrgyzstan, it’s people and culture, was a great compliment to the sights of the journey encircling the lake. I am not a guided tour guy….but will never regret or forget this experience.
- T4206VZlindam00Must see in KyrgyzstanIt was amazing tour. We have visit all famous sites around the lake. Totally recommend it. We have tried local food, stayed in Kyrgyz yurt.
- emseatosummit00Great tour to see the hidden gems outside of BishkekI would recommend this agency and this particular tour to people who: enjoy wilderness/nature, have about a week in Kyrgyz, travel alone. This 3-day tour around the Issyk Kul Lake is ideal to get a mix of nature, culture, and small towns that have sprouted around the lake. I got in contact with the tour agency directly through its website, and within a few hours, Mars emailed me back. Fortunately, my trip was flexible, and I took him up on his suggestion to start a day earlier so that I would be with another group. This turned out to be a great idea because the more the merrier during the long drives. The only downside to booking directly through them, rather than booking through Viator, is that I had to pay in cash, which I wasn't prepared to do since I thought I'd be able to pay by card. I always think it's best to work directly with small, local businesses, and if you go this route, have cash in hand, otherwise, you'll have to make a few withdrawals at an ATM, which was a hassle. We got to see some breathtaking canyons, waterfalls, and mountains. The lake itself is massive you almost forget you're in a landlocked country. The accommodations at the yurt camp and guesthouse were very comfortable and clean. We got to try all the most popular national dishes, and fortuitous timing allowed us to experience nomadic Kyrgyz hospitality along the way during one of their festivals. Mars took care of us well; the trip was organized, but since our group was flexible, Mars always gave us options on what we could see/do along the way. He had a great playlist, transportation was comfortable, provided interesting pieces of history along the way, and was communicative before and during the trip. Do expect long drives. On the third day, we had the most ground to cover to return to Bishkek (about 5), and Mars broke down the drive with a few spots to see. Plenty of places to stop for toilet breaks. Easy pick up from the airport and drop off at my hotel at the end. Might be difficult to accommodate if you are a strict vegetarian/vegan.
- lucygT4671HJ00Best scenic loop around Issyk Kul Lake and amazing tour guide!Maks made this 3 day tour a very enjoyable adventure. Not only I got to see the best areas around the lake but I had great traditional food, peaceful stay in the Yurt camp, beautiful hikes and interesting conversation (and few naps) during the drive from one place to another. I did this tour as a female traveling solo and I felt very comfortable all the time. I recommend this tour 100%
- harryrQ4261PB00Experience Kyrgyz's Nature Like LocalExperience Kyrgyzstan's nature like a local. The trip is all about circling around Issyk Kul lake, 450 KM. We've got more than what we expected, grand canyon like scenary, snowy mountain like in Alpen, vast greenland like Switzerland, and having good time enjoying hot spring water. Pristine water and fresh air. Cook in the riverside where we took water from. The owner tailored made the trip for us. He provided with good food, nice accomodation, and great experience with no additional cost. Really worth experience to try, can't wait for the next one. Kyrgyzstan. Discover undiscovered.
- christinecU6667OL00BeautifulMars is a professional and he is now someone we consider a friend! The yurt stay on Son Kul was an amazing experience. We rode horses in the most majestic setting I have ever experienced. Getting there was an adventure and the host family was so sweet, the children adorable. Unfortunately we had to cut our tour short , however it was a great three days experiencing the real Kyrgyzstan culture.
- Zlin1234500Unrivalled natural beautyWent on a private tour with my family, 6 of us in 2 four-wheel drives. Mas and Tahir were friendly, helpful and organised, and ensured that our trip went smoothly without a hitch. The hotel and restaurant bookings were part of the package. We tried the local cuisine, including horse milk! Mas and Tahir also prepared wonderful picnic lunches for us to enjoy in the valleys. Some of the lodgings were tied to unforgettable experiences such as horse riding through the mountainous areas of Chon Kemin. Staying in yurts was an eye-opening experience for sure. We were also very fortunate to watch the Nomadic Games, which attracted many locals in beautiful traditional outfits. I am in awe of the untouched beauty Kyrgyzstan has to offer (Jety Oguz, Issyk Kul) and will definitely want to visit Kyrgyzstan with Atlas’ experienced tour guide Mas.

My partner and me had the best trip we could wish for with Ulan (as a guide) and a young man from UK, who also booked the tour. We were picked up in time, went to Burana Tower first. Sadly, it was closed and we couldn't go up but then Ulan brought us to the Kegeti Waterfall. Such a nice cooling adventure with the hot temperature! Ulan was a good driver and such a kind and caring person. He was making the best of our trip, he was more engaged than we wished for a guide to be. He gave 150% that day and made it an incredible day trip for us! He then found the best food to bring back the power and we shared traditional kyrgyz dinner. Very good! Ulan speaks English, which is very helpful!

Breathtakingly beautiful scenery, wonderful ancient ruins. Very obliging and friendly guides who will make your Kyrgyzstan dreams come true. My excellent guide also took photos so I was in the shot and stopped for special photo ops. Very comfy 4WD. You’ll learn a lot about Kyrgyzstan. I’ll be using these guys for my next tour

Great tour to enjoy some spectacular nature outside Bishkek. The Burana Tower shows some great history, the Kegeti Gorge in particular is a sight definitely worth seeing.

Mas was a perfect guide. He can 'sell' Kyrgyzstan, he can tell you amazing stories about daily life in the city, but mostly on his beloved mountains! A truly great experience.
