    Lovely views.
We had a lovely boat trip along the River and our guide gave great facts about different buildings and history. Unfortunately, we didn't get a full sunset, but the views of Phnom Penh were great.. the free drinks were an added bonus.

    Stunning !
An truly amazing trip! For the whole day we came across no other tourists which was such a massive plus and for those in Cambodia who did not visit Oudongk it’s absolutely their miss! We started off with a cruise up the river past the floating villages with various sights as we moved up the river towards Oudongk. Our boat moored off the bank and our guide (who was absolutely brilliant) then took us up by tuk tuk to a silver village and from their to the Buddhist temples below Oudongk. We met the monks and the nuns, we were able to fully explore all the temples and the living accommodation for the monks and nuns who were so friendly and curious about ourselves. The nuns in particular. From there we went up the mountain, down to a street market and then had a lovely late lunch before heading back to our boat and down the river. This tour was the best of our entire three week trip. The guide was knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating to allow us to explore all the areas we wanted to. It felt very authentic to the area and felt like we really were experiencing a part of Cambodia that very few people have the privilege in experiencing. But thank you to our guide for a truly memorable experience! Gareth Jones (and the family)

    Brilliant Staff , average experience
Firstly I cannot fault any of the staff - they were incredibly fantastic. Friendly , accomodating and always made sure we had drinks in hand . The actual departure point could use a clean up and better walkway - was unsteady. Not any one’s fault but no sunset due to overcast weather . Comfortable seating downstairs but not so much upstairs where all the activity takes place .

    Overcast cruise
Getting to the boat was a bit rickety. Felt unsafe. Boat cruise was smooth sailing. Host was charming and well informed. Pity weather didn't play along.

    Great experience
Great trip. Very informative guide that was cheerful and also playing barman since we were a small group. Everyone was really friendly, to the point 8 of us grouped up and went on for dinner and dancing afterwards..

Amazing, way more than we were expecting. The Tour guide went out of his way to make this event pleasant. Beautiful afternoon. All you can drink was, really really, all you can drink. Pick up & drop off from hotel by Tuk Tuk was so enjoyable.

The guide would not stop talking and I wanted to look at the sights. It was pretty frustrating. I bought a silk on the island and then tipped the silk guide (different to the guide who was on the boat). I showed the boat guide I had spent all my money and after that he was not interested as no tip was coming.

Worse was that I was stranded on the road with no tuk tuk to take me back to the hotel. Pretty grim service really. Never again.

A must do your that gives you a beautiful view of Phnom Phen from the River. We learned so much about the history of the city and seeing first hand the fishing life of the people who make the rivers their livelihood and home. Beautiful sunset cruise with delightful crew and guide. Drinks and fresh fruit plate included. Great value. A wonderful calming night to end a hectic day of touring.

Had an awesome cruise. Being off season we had the boat and guide all to ourselves (2 of us). Very knowledgeable guide. A second tuk tuk guide (Kim) on the island was equally impressive. Learnt a lot about silk farming. Very interesting with the right guide. Again we were the only tourists on the island for a couple of hours.
Ended up spending a lot more than intended at the store but no regrets. Products were available at very different price points for different budgets but high quality craftsmanship. Funds go to the island women's cooperative that keep the traditions going.

Although we enjoyed the day and the host was good value, on boarding the boat we noticed it is in dire need of refurbishing (about 20 years ago) it was interesting.
Not the crew but the guy who showed us through the silk producing process was knowledgeable BUT annoyingly wanted us to buy stuff and continually asked about a ‘tip’. So bad he turned us off the whole experience.
We advised our crew host of this and he was mad and told us that he would sort it out as he had warned that man about this on previous occasions.
On way back to the Phom Penh dock we were caught in a monsoonal downpour and ended up soaked. But it was a bit of an experience we enjoyed the day and would recommend the tour.

Fantastic trip to Silk Island. We had a lovely trip to the island and once ashore, our guide, Vuthy, gave us a very informative tour including a lot of information about Buddhism and it’s culture as well as a fantastic trip around the island on a tuk-tuk.
Then we had a tour around the Silk Farm with another guide who explained the process of silk making.
On our return boat trip to the Riverside we had a platter of fresh pineapple and drinks.
All in all, we had an excellent experience made all the better thanks to our wonderful guide Vuthy who was very patient and seemed delighted to answer our numerous questions!

We came to Phnom Penh as a group of 6 having never been to Cambodia before. This is the perfect tour if you're looking for an educational, yet relaxing/fun day in the city. Our guide, Ty Davuth, spoke wonderful English and taught us everything Mekong River, Silk Island, and more. We had so much fun hanging out with him on the boat, it was equal parts educational as it was chill; the perfect mix for a group of friends wanting to explore a new region. The cherry on top were the free flow beers and fresh fruit served onboard. A great introduction to Cambodia! Thank you Ty Davuth!

PhnomPhen is fast developing Capital of Cambodia looks a bit like Bangkok @ small scale. Mostly dominated by EU backpackers lively with full night life bars and dance clubs.
Relatively less expensive than Bangkok I Dubai ;-).
Silk Island is worth visiting apart from city tour I Night Market I Kings Palace I Coffee Bars . For Indians there are few Indian restraints where you may get Veg food.
Over all a great experience but one should & must visit Siemreap and Angokar Wat.
Don't miss the small circuit and big circuit and take your lens kit and one really enjoy a great deal of photo shoot .

Fantastic! Only ended up being three people on the boat total (including us two). We learned a lot of about Buddhist culture and beliefs, met some primary school children, and met women who hand make silk products.

It was an amazing tour with lots of knowledge and opportunity to learn and ask questions.
