Great food, great local intel, great guide, best introduction to Khmer food!
When in Cambodia, one should eat Cambodian (Khmer) food! Jackson is a great guide, and his English is fantastic. Mr P was a skilled and safe tuk tuk driver, and the beer was indeed free-flowing, although I should have saved more room for food! Once again, I was wishing I had booked the tour for the first night to get a handle on the options and good places. Most (all?) were family owned and run, and we were the only westerners at every stop. We got to try some things we never would have known to eat without a locals recommendation. I would 1000% recommend this tour and would do it again myself.

        Great food tour
There was some great food on this tour! More work needs to be done on portion sizes, however. One of the guides pressured us to eat more at every stop, so by the time we got to the main meal, both guests were too full to eat. This was a shame because that stop had the most famous and traditional Cambodian dishes like fish amok, lok lak, and prahok. My only other suggestion is for the guide to minimise touching of guests - I believe the intent is friendly but it’s not necessary.

Excellent Food Tour experiencing the best of local cuisine.
On this tour we were able to taste some of the best foods that Cambodia has to offer. Overall there were 7 stops each offering a different experience of local foods. Our first stop was noodle soup with luscious herbs and spices such as lime, thai basil, chillis, morning glory, banana leaves and other exotic and unusual herbs. We then were offered grilled cricket and frog, unusual to western palates, but after overcoming the initial anxiety, they really were quite tasty. Other stops along the way, included the Russian Market where we able to experience the ambience of a Cambodian live market. Here we also helped ourselves to some longan and jackfruit. This was my first time tasting jackfruit and I was pleasantly surprised. Further into the market we savoured various bbq meats including chicken liver and intestines. Our main meal followed, which consisted of rice and generous helpings of savoury meats and vegetables. An absolute smorgasbord of indulgence. An unusual stop for dessert was a solo local vendor who sat alone on the street on a small stool with only a few plates and ingredients. She created an amazing dessert made of a flat pancake with coconut and other crunchy ingredients that I was not fully aware of. The surprising thing was that she did not even have a stall, and any passerby would not have even given her a nod, and yet she had plenty of customers lining up to buy who dessert. Really amazing. Our final stop was wonderful atmospheric bar with ambient music, showcasing quality Cambodian art. Here we ended a thoroughly enjoyable night with wonderful cocktails. A fitting end to a fabulous feast. Throughout the entire evening, Jackson was a superb host, entertaining us with his wit and live conversation, describing to us the various foods and ensuring that we were getting plenty of servings of the local cuisine. Overall thanks for a wonderful tour Jackson, and thanks also to the organisers of this excellent feast.

        Mouth-wateringly delicious and fun tour
Fantastic evening with Jackson and our lovely Tuk Tuk driver whizzing around the capital on our food adventure. It was our last night in Cambodia and a great way to bring together everything we had already learned and experience even more. Not just great food but wonderful to see how locals dine out and entertain themselves. Food was diverse and all delicious. Some well known favourites like amok but lots of very very different dishes and great street food. Highly recommend- done to a very high standard. And come on an empty tummy. Thank you Jackson!

        Incredible Food
This was an incredible night of food, fun, and laughter. We had an amazing time with Jackson as we learned the history of much of the food of Cambodia, got to try a ton of new dishes and some familiar ones as well. The beer kept flowing all night and we had quite the adventure with the Tuk Tuks. Highly recommend, definitely a highlight of our time in Phnom Penh.

        Interesting and tasty foods
Small party, which proved a great personalised service. Tried many foods some would not have considered and was really tasty and fab intro to dessert and cocktail too. Thoroughly enjoyed this trip with Jacko.

        What a fabulous night out
I booked the tour as a solo traveller to get a beginners guide to Cambodian food and I was blown away. JB and Mr.Nin were fabulous guides, explaining the foods, ingredients and answering any questions we had about the food. I could not have eaten another thing by the end or be cared for any better. The food was phenomenal and although I'm not adventurous, was encouraged, not forced to try new things, which I appreciated. I can not recommend this tour enough. It's a must do for anyone new to Cambodian food.

        Food tour with beer
Our guide Jackson was informative and gave super chill and friendly vibes . Beers flowed immediately as did the food. I don't eat pork and he catered for my preference. The BBQ street stand at the Russian market was my favorite. We ended the night at a wonderful spot for delicious cocktails . I highly recommend this tour while in Phnom Penh .

We went on this activity with our family of 6 adults and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The tour of the local market was incredible! It was interactive, the different food we tried was divine and they accommodated vegetarian requests easily. We’ve done local markets previously and in other countries and this was our favourite market/street food tour.
The street art tour was excellent also! We travelled through back streets and wandered laneways that we wouldn’t have otherwise explored on our trip to Phnom Penh. The guides were outstanding.
All 6 of us couldn’t recommend this trip highly enough - if you have the opportunity absolutely do it!!

This tour was brilliant for me as a solo traveller because our guide Monyca was so warm and friendly, and it helped me feel at home in Phnom Penh! We went to a morning Market and learnt about a lot of the different snacks and produce there, before exploring the city in tuktuks to find a lot of cool street art and hidden little neighbourhoods. Monyca explained the art work sensitively and it was a unique way to understand the city and its' revent history. I'd recommend this tour to anybody who wants to learn about the city and the people who live here from a different perspective! Shout out to the fabulous drivers too.

I can't thank Miss Lea and Urban Forage enough!

I was not sure if the tours were still happening, but after emailing for availability, Miss Ducky set me right up. Miss Lea came to pick me up with our really lovely driver, and she showed me so many places around the city. I'm so grateful for her answering all my questions, and helping me remember the names of dishes and how to order them in the future.

I did the market and art tour together. Miss Lea showed me to a local market and helped me find it again if I want to go back - and I do! - and we had breakfast and coffee and lots of snacks. Then she showed me several wonderful streets full of street art, and told me the stories behind them. Several are related to folktales or history, and I'm grateful to learn a little more about the things I've seen. We paid our respects at a Wat and she showed me around so that I can do it again as well.

Miss Lea is kind, and made sure I was comfortable and had done (and eaten!) all the things I wanted to. I'm a bit of an anxious person, and I wasn't sure if being on a solo tour was going be a little nervewracking, but Miss Lea made it easy and we ended up getting to talking. I learned a lot about history, art, food, and current events in the city. Thank you, Miss Lea, and thank you Urban Forage.

This tour is a great way to see some of the local sights of Phnom Penh. A morning visit to a local market was interesting. Nothing was too much trouble for our amazing guide, she was very informative and took the time to explain some of the food that we were trying. After a local breakfast it was time to view some of the amazing street art. Some fresh sugar cane juice helped cool us down when we were viewing the art. A second local breakfast was just as delicious as the first. The tour finished at a local chocolate factory. I highly recommend this tour.

I loved this tour! Jackson and his team were wonderful, knowledgeable and kind guides who took us around Phnom Penh to a range of delicious locations.

We were picked up from our hotels (a mix of couples, friends and solo travellers, seven in total on our tour) and taken for a delicious morning coffee (iced and well received!) and to a local market for a tour and bowl of local tasty noodles. This was a highlight!

Though there isn’t a huge street art scene in Phnom Penh, we saw some wonderful, diverse artworks but most importantly learnt about the context in which these artworks were created (important for me as an art teacher!). The laneway tour was really special as it was where a range of young Cambodian artists go to share their views, stories and developing art practice.

There was more than enough food and the guides were able to share information about all dishes, as well as to cater for a range of food tastes and needs (as their were some vegetarians). We finished with a chocolate shop and took away a bar of our choice each - what a treat!

This tour is a highly recommended way to learn about Cambodia, is queer friendly, great to meet other travellers and to eat some delicious things!

We had a great time on our Morning Market and Street Art tour with Urban Forage. Our guide Monyca took us by Tuk Tuk to several venues to eat, including one stop in a local market. She walked us through the market pointing out interesting food items. There were a few surprise food treats during the tour as well. The street art was interesting and Monyca was able to explain the background/history behind each. She also shared some of her life experiences, which we appreciated. A really enjoyable tour with great food, great art and an intelligent, insightful guide.

Amazing Tour with Mr. Sam and Lucky our driver. We had some different Cambodian breakfast snacks first before we went inside the market and had a proper breakfast. We strolled around the market and Sam told us about the different areas. Afterwards the street art tour started, where we walked along the streets and took a lot of photos :) one artwork was even made by our driver Lucky. At the end another breakfast/lunch to end the tour with a full stomach :) all in all really amazing to see a different side of Phnom Penh.

So glad that I did this tour of the food markets and street art of Phnom Penh. I saw many things that I woud have otherwise have missed or not known about and the two breakfasts of local cusine that we enjoyed were delicious. Our guide Duckie has been living in Phnom Penh for many years and was friendly, engaging and shared a wealth of local knowledge. Highly recommended as a way to spend a full morning seeing and experiencing aspects of Phnom Penh that only locals enjoy or know.

We had a great morning looking at a local market, sampling the local food and looking at the contemporary art scene. Sam was a very good guide who made the tour seamless. The two breakfasts were excellent and most definitely what the locals eat. The graffiti art we saw was exactly what I was looking for and gave me a good feel for the emerging art scene. We finished off the morning with a visit to a specialist local chocolate shop which had an amazing range of added flavors locally sourced such as pepper, ginger, coffee, peanuts, and cinnamon. We finished on time and experienced everything the tour promised. Thanks Sam for a great morning.
