#65 of 244 Tours & Activities in Phnom Penh
- Atlantan197200Touristy dinner and showThis was a dinner and dance show. A set dinner was served during the performance. The food was decent and the show was ok. We had seen these dances on another tour. It is indoors in a large air conditioned hotel dining room filled with many large and small groups.
- ElgarRd00My memorable day tour in Phnom PenhThe tuk tuk driver Tony arrived promptly at my hotel. He was very attentive to what I want to see in Phnom Penh. He drives me to all the places that were on the agenda and even shows me certain places that tourists do not see like selling dog and crocodile meats on the road side. Even though the site is not nice but it was an experience as I have never seen this type of stuff before. Whilst we were waiting for the museum to open during the lunch break he brought me to the Russian market which was bustling with activities. I even had an hour of blindman massage which was fantastic. What an experience. Thank you for making my one day solo private tour memorable.
- JoAnn D00private half day silk island tripThe entire trip was amazing from start to finish. Everything we did was exceptional and meeting with the local people. I can't recommend this trip enough--go! You will have an amazing experience.
- 907monikal00Highly recommend trip!Great trip! Driving around in a Tuk Tuk and visiting various places on the islands. Weaving Commune is worth spending time, informative presentation of the process how to produce silk. In the end we had a chill time with the guide in a Julie Coffee cafe! Highly recommend!
- kaycT6722SS00Silk IslandGreat trip with an excellent guide! Ideal for a short break from the city and a wonderful chance to see and appreciate the skill and craftsmanship of these artisans.
- Rhalgren300Great experienceThis was a great way to experience a different part of Phnom Penh! The tour was about 4 hours, of which we spent about an hour sitting with a silk weaver and learning about the process, and another 1.5 hours seeing the rest of the island. Would definitely recommend to others.
- Gordon S00Buddhist LifestyleVisited the Oudong Monastery for a group Buddhist blessing which was great, although I didn't have a clue what was said . Thereafter, we had an opportunity to see how the monks lived and viewed the largest Buddhist stature in Cambodia.
- sarahpO5980XS00Great tour for those time crunched in Cambodia.Great tour! Guide was extremely knowledgeable and open to all sorts of questions and diversions. Never felt rushed but took it at "our" pace. Really nice tour, would recommend to others.
- johnmG7075BZ00Market adventure! Our guide Neaung treated us to a view of Phnom Penh’s two major markets and more. The trip really was a mini city tour that brought us to a local temple and art center for victims of land mines. We then proceeded to the Russian Market where we were amazed by the local produce and restaurants in the market. Our lunch stop was amazing and featured some of the best Khmer salads that we had on our trip. We had a great time and would recommend this for any first time visitors to the city.
- NGDMJ00Great Show & MealHuge selection of items on the buffet and the show was so great. Beautiful in sound & culture. The service was superb, very friendly serve staff. Be sure to attend & enjoy!
- 431dieteru00Great trip to rural CambodiaWe had a very inspiring and pleasant trip to the islands on the other side of Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers. Our guide Piseta gave us great insights of the rural art of living and we highly recommend this trip. It is an excellent opportunity to start your day in the busy town in a calm environment. The tour is easy for average bikers.
- fiona c00Silk islandThoroughly recomend this trip.you leave city to experience life in a rural community and tr a vel accross the river by ferry. My guide was excellent who was a wealth of knowledge . We explored a buddist temple as well as visiting a family who produced silk along with the silk cooperative. I was the shown the whole process of silk production and their were lots of opportunities to take photos and drink fresh coconut water.
- 家晧 王00Nice to see the country sideIt is a good tour. If I could choose again I would probably choose car instead of tuk tuk, because the raid to oudong isn't the best road and you get dusty alone the way. I get to see the country side of the Phnom Penh, which is very interesting. The temple is located on top of the hill. Weather was extremely hot in July. So be prepared! View on the hill is amazing. I recommend for those who already seen most of the attractions in the city and would like to see different side of the Phnom Penh.
- Michelle N00Good way to tour the marketsAn enjoyable way of spending a few hours. However, if you’re brave enough to visit the markets by yourself then the tour adds little beyond identifying some of the strange items you’re looking at (food wise!) and transporting you to the market
- henksim00one of the most interessi archeological sites of the worldYou cannot say to have visited Cambodia if you did't see Angkor Wat. Even if is pretty far away from Phnom Penh, your trip in Cambodia is not complete if you don't this beautiful place. Worth it!

Our guide Li was great, knowledgable but not pushy with the information.
Best part of the tour was probably the tuk tuk ride through the market.
Also enjoyed seeing the monks at the temple - very surprised when the head monk asked us for a photo. He then showed us various selfies with other tourists (got the impression not many go to see them). Actually didn't see any other tourists all day, which was different!!!
A bit of a shame that most Temples were only built in the last 20 or so years as Pol Pot essentially destroyed everything. But we did see one that was 700 years old and what made it more special was that a hermit had just arrived a few days earlier for a pilgrimage to the temple.

Our guide was incredible to say the least, she was warm and her knowledge about Combodian history was deep rooted and thought provoking. She provided her own experience and we were honored to listen to her anecdotes. Her English was immaculate! Thank you for making our time with you amazing!
