Day 1: Arrive in Phnom Penh

Stop At: Phnom Penh, Phnom Penh
Meet a driver at the Phnom Penh International Airport for transfer to your hotel, then head to the Royal Palace to see the Silver Pagoda, named for the 5,000 silver tiles that cover the floor. It's not the only magnificent display at the palace—the Buddha of the Pagoda is made from solid gold and more than 9,000 diamonds.

Continue to the National Museum, an elegant building with a trove of ancient Khmer art. In the evening, join a sunset cruise on the Mekong River, then finish the day with drop-off at your hotel. Overnight at Villa Langka Hotel, The Plantation, or similar.

    Duration: 8 hours

Stop At: Silver Pagoda, Phnom Penh Cambodia
Within the Royal Palace compound is the extravagant Silver Pagoda, also known as Wat Preah Keo or Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
