    Exciting Bangladesh Tour
In 2019 we booked this tour. We passed 14 nights and the itinerary of this tour will give you a wide experience of Bangladesh because it's cover almost many of the sightseeing places of this beautiful country. The tour organizer company was so friendly and they did everything good. No worry of it. Hotels was so clean manitaned and almost 3 star standard. Transport they had provided exactly similar they mentioned in the itinerary. Food quality is also average. In average this tour is really great combination of everything. Special thanks to all guide who help us to make this tour amazing.

    Worth It
Totally worth it. Granted we could replicate this on our own, it was awesome to have the guide plan this for us. Guide is a jolly person that makes the sightseeing experience very fun. We visited several sights along with lunch. Very unique experience. We booked several other trips with this tour guide and became very good friends as well. Amazing experience. Very highly recommended!!

    Amazing Tour of Old Dhaka
I was extremely happy to have the pleasure of meeting Hasan of Global International BD Tours & Travels. he turned out to not only be an amazing guide, but a fantastic travel companion and friend as well. -His private tour of Old Dhaka (Puran Dhaka) is not to be missed, and included round trip air conditioned transportation as well as meals and attraction tickets. We started the day visiting the campus of Dhaka University, admiring Curzon Hall and the old colonial British gems of the city, After this we he Shaheed Minar monument, which commemorates those killed fighting for the Bengali language. Every 21st of February the site is beautifully decorated in flowers, and it was nice to see all the pride the Bengali visitors have in their language and culture. -After this we visited Lalbagh Fort, which was truly a highlight of the day for me. I loved the historic architecture, and peacefulness and beauty of the gardens, truly an oasis in the midst of a bustling city. Hasan managed to include some time for me to visit the famed Dhaka Armenian Church, which were given a private tour of by the caretaker of the property. Though there are no Armenians left in Dhaka, it was nice to view the cemetery grounds and the simplicity of the church interior. -Finally, we made it to lunch, and dined on the famous Old Dhaka Hajir biryani, which was absolutely delicious, and interesting to see its preparation in gigantic pots. After lunch we toured the Ahsan Manzil, or the pink palace of the ruling Nawabs of Dhaka. I love history and it was exciting to our the grounds and stunning interior. This tour was followed by a beautiful old-fashioned boat ride on the Buriganga river, which is directly across from the palace. Our day ended with a tour of the grounds of the parliament of Bangladesh, which was surprisingly vast and very modern. truly an exciting day, a great way to experience the hustle and bustle of the small streets of Old Dhaka. One really gets to feel like a local with Hasan, and it was nice not having to worry about tickets, transport or food, truly an all inclusive experience, will definitely book again when back in Bangladesh.

I am so pleased to write the first review for this tour offered by Global International BD Tours & Travels. This tour was one of the highlights of my trip, and was so exotic and out of this world that I would be doing a disservice not to review it. As always, Hasan and his company did an amazing job with planning, scheduling and handling transport, meals and ticketing.

-The day started with hotel pickup and driving to a spot of the Dhaleshwari river to catch a private motor boat. The captain was so kind and it was nice having the boat to ourselves. The journey up the river to the remote pottery village was so scenic in itself. Upon arriving at the small, remote village we disembarked to see what looked like the set of a movie: small old houses and alleyways populated by the families of artisans who handcraft clay into beautiful pottery used in Dhaka. It was so nice to meet the villagers, many of whom are Hindu artisans, and learn about the process of making pottery. We saw from start to finish the process of warming clay, molding the clay, and shaping the pottery to dry. We even got to try to make pottery ourselves!! The best part was seeing the village children and distributing candy to them, they were so happy and their kindness has made such an impression on me, especially when compared to the dismal depression of city life in the US. The villagers even prepared sweets for us, picked guava from their trees. I had such a beautiful time I am at a loss for words on how special it was.
-After departing the village by boat, we were picked up by car and transported to Dhamrai, a village which produces stunning brass items for purchase using an ancient technique of wax casting. Not only was this a great place to purchase unique souvenirs not found in Dhaka, but the owner of the store was so generous he took us to his home where we were able to witness his mother crafting the casings for the sculptures. Basically, wax is cast into molds of figurines, then encased in clay, which is wrapped in metal wire, then brass is poured into the wax mold and takes its shape after drying. It was amazing to witness this old artform, which is thankfully preserved here.
-After this amazing tour, we were treated to a delicious Bengali lunch, which was followed by a tour of the National Martyrs’ Memorial. The grounds of this memorial are pristine, and it was heartening to see the pride of the Bengali people in visiting this memorial to the country's tumultuous past.

So unique!
