9 Day Private Azarbaijan and Georgia Tour
We arranged our trip through Tourradar and Artunj, our tour manager did a great job communicating with us. Elvin was our very knowledgeable driver and guide during our stay in Azarbaijan. He proudly and thoroughly explained the local cultures, foods, religions and history to us. We enjoyed the contrast between old an new in Baku. The old city is interestng and very walkable and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful Carpet Museum and modern Haydar Aliyev Art Museum. The city has a strong connection with oil and is surrounded by oil refineries. As a matter of fact we visited the world's oldest commercial oil well right outside of Baku. A side trip to a mud volcano was quite an experience racing and bouncing over dirt roads in a Russian Lada. Another highlight was a sidetrip to Qobustan National Park and excellent Petroglyphs Rock Art Museum with Homo Sapiens and Neanderthal rock carvings. Some other visits were to historic Lahic village with quaint cobblestone streets and the ancient Atashgah Zoroastran Fire Temple. Sheki is an interesting and beautiful city in the Caucuses mountains. Especially interesting was our visit to the Stained Glass Workshop at the palace of the Sheki Khans. We loved our ride through the mountains to the mountain village of Kish with its very narrow streets to visit the ancient Albanian church. On our way to the Georgian border we stopped at the lovely. but smallish, Mamirli (mossy) waterfall, involving another exciting car ride along a rocky road/stream bed. Arriving at the Georgian border Elvin helpfully waited to make sure we made it accross. Once across we knew we arrived in the country were wine originated about 8000 years ago as our driver's first action was to drop us off at a winery for some wine tasting. This would not be our last opportunity. The city of Tiblisi reminded us of some southern European cities with its cobblestoned streets and balconies. The city feels very inviting and Nino our guide made us feel at home. She toured the city with us and shared her extensive knowledge of her country and was more than willing to answer all our questions as odd as they may have been. With Nino we visited a traditional bakery for some wonderful breads as well as Bodbe's St. Nino 's Convent Cathedral. After that to Sinaghi to walk the old city wall. And, of course, wine tasting and more wine tasting and, let's not forget the Chacha, the Georgian wine wodka akin to the Italian grappa. Georgian wines are very fresh and tasty both red and white and are made Georgian style (a process involving pressing whole grapes) or European style. Our last visit was to a family winery in a very beautiful setting for some more tasting and explaining of processes and special tools involved. In closing we want to thank our guides Elvin and Nina for sharing their knowledge and love for their cultures, language and history with us. Accommodations and their locations were very good. We especially loved the very fresh traditional foods. One important reminder though. Bring comfortable shoes. Both Elvin and Nino will be mindful of your mobility, but no matter, it will enhance your experiences. Lastly, we recommend Tourradar. We've used them before. Enjoy your travels.

          Excellent service, highly recommended.
Absolutely great service, the driver had a clear sign with my name on at the Arrivals gate and assisted with our luggage. As it was 3am, he wanted to ensure we were being dropped off at the correct address and telephoned our Airbnb host to confirm before taking us to the correct location - it wasn't easy as most of the main roads around Baku had been closed off for the Formula 1 race. He was very friendly and thankfully also had him to pick us up for our return journey to the airport at 3am. I strongly recommend their service, felt secure in the knowledge that they care for you regardless of the time of day 👍👍👍

          Great service
Nothing scares me more, than to arrive to a new Country, where I don’t speak their language…and english is not an option…. But there it was… a driver was sent to the airport to pick us up…. Huge relief… Next day we began touring.. we chose day one itinerary and for the next day, the 2nd itinerary…. For the third day, we had special requirements…. And they helped us every step of the trip… they were perfect… Farhad, was a great guide and driver… always on time, attentive, with helpful knowledge, great attitude and a big smile… We were able to enjoy our Azerbaijan’s stay… even when the last day, another driver was supposed to pick us up at 7 am and drive us to the airport… he wasn’t there… Just a message to Ertunc Artunj, and the problem was solved… he even booked a Taxi, cause the Formula 1 races preparation, closed several streets, so the appointed car wasn’t able to arrive. We could feel how worried he was with the delay, constantly checking us, telling us in advance, where did we have to check in… which we highly appreciate it, cause there weren’t any signs that could help us know where to queue! Azerbaijan Private Tour
Baku had excellent museums, I loved the Museum of Modern Art, great parks & statues to explore. In general monuments were well maintained as were the buildings . The Noble House Museum is worth booking a tour, great history in this home. Baku is a modern city with oil being drilled in the city today. It has great restaurants & wine friendly people which makes for a good experience. Out in the country I enjoyed seeing the mud volcanoes, Sheki city, waterfalls & it does have very different terrain as we travelled through the country on good roads. A oil rich country worth visiting.

We enjoyed our 9 day Azerbaijan and Georgia trip. Artunj was so very helpful and fast with every question we had. The organisation was perfect and Elvin our Azerbaijan guide/driver was a lovely guy. Nino in Georgia was super informative and flexible with our itinerary. Highly recommend this trip to others.

Great tour to see the best pieces of history
The tour was good. Rovshen is a great guide and he was warm, friendly, and very accommodating. No complaints in the timings, the extended hours, and very calm and relaxed in ensuring that we completed the entire tour at ease with compassion all the way! Overall, a great experience and a must recommend.

          Excellent service and tour
The trip was great. Our tour guide Farhad did an excellent job explaining all the details. He spoke English well, was professional and courteous. We had a slightly modified tour, as we started with Bibi Heybat, mud volcanoes, Qobustan- as we wanted the tour to be 4 hrs.

          Thoroughly enjoyable 7-nights Azerbaijan trip
A group of family friends, we opted for a customised 7-nights Azerbaijan trip through azerbaijanguide.az. Interestingly, I got to know about them (azerbaijanguide.az) through a random internet search. The reviews were positive and hence, gave me the confidence to engage with them and explore options. Artunj was the initial point of contact and he stayed connected right through. It took multiple rounds of interactions spanning across 2-3 weeks before we eventually finalised our itinerary and confirmed our plans. Credit to Artunj for staying committed during this period, responding to each and every query with all possible details. It was his attitude that gave me the confidence to proceed with them. From the time we landed in Baku, Artunj made it a point to meticulously track us. Our pick up from the Airport to the apartment in Baku was absolutely smooth and well planned. We had managed the Baku apartment booking ourselves, in consultation with Artunj....it was very professional of him to not push his choice on to us. Our guide from Day 2 till Day 7 was Elvin. He ferried us across in his well maintained Mercedes Benz vehicle, doubling up as a guide. A great personality and an extrovert, Elvin made it a point to make us feel special. As much as English is not common in Azerbaijan, Elvin was extremely comfortable in connecting with us in English. To top it, he had phenomenal knowledge of India, which made it very convenient and comfortable for us. Besides, Elvin is excellent when it comes to Azerbaijan history, local dynamics et al. Not to forget, very safe and skillful at driving. Our stay at Qabala was managed by Artunj. It was a very well maintained villa with necessary infrastructure and facilities. Two meals of the day (lunch and dinner) were managed by azerbaijanguide.az. What pleased us here was that Artunj was very accommodative on this front. We were a group of vegetarians and were quite particular about the exclusion list. Alongside, we did not want to limit ourselves to Indian food alone...we were keen to explore local food as well. It was here that Artunj and Elvin combined very well to come up with different choices. This was very important for us and thankfully, they did a great job on this front. Overall, we enjoyed the trip and the hospitality received from Artunj and Elvin. It was great to meet Artunj in person towards the end of our trip. Both were extremely polite, courteous and professional. Besides, Artunj was regular in seeking our feedback and, importantly, willing to make adjustments to ensure we were comfortable. That is the hallmark of good service in the Tourism sector. Strongly recommend anyone traveling to Azerbaijan to consider azerbaijanguide.az

Best views in Azerbaijan up the mountains
Best views you will get anywhere in Azerbaijan. The drive up to Xinaliq was the highlight of our trip. We travelled with out 3 months old infant and 3 years old son. Everything was smooth. Guide Farhad took us for this trip and he was excellent, very patient and accommodated all our needs. We had amazing Shah Pilaf at the restaurant Qecrecsh forest. We would come back to Azerbaijan again to do this trip, book without any doubt, you won't regret it.
