Farman took our tour group around for three days. We visited Baku, Sheki, and other sights such as the Fire temple, Flame towers, and Diri Baba Mausaluem. What I liked about Farman was how passionate he was in explaining every little detail, and he even encouraged us to climb down a dirt path down from Diri Baba when other people on the tour were not up for it. My family and I were entertained by his antics and jokes, and we learned a lot about Azerbaijan’s socio-political history. I highly recommend him to anyone who visits Azerbaijan!

Farman is one of the best guides I’ve had the privilege of being with. He’s informative, inspiring, and caring, and is always quick to offer solutions and alternatives. His command of English is excellent. He was also very personable, recommending his favourite places in Baku to enjoy a slice of authentic Azerbaijani life. We managed to squeeze a lot in a full day tour, where I learned about Baku’s history, culture, and society through architecture and cuisine. Thanks for a great trip, Farman!
