Baku surprising city between tradition (the old city, habit of people) and modernity
(resembles a European city with its stores), the architects gave free rein to their imagination as the cultural center among other things.
Contrast between the Baku region and the mountains on the Qabalan side. Fire mountains and mud volcanoes are surprising sights.
Advice for your travels: use taxis at ridiculously low prices: bolt the cheapest.
Disappointment: no audio guide even though they are indicated.
Big improvement to be made in the reception of sites and museums (smile, audio guides in several languages. The tourist office is of no use (no city maps or advice for transport, it gives you a site to consult by Internet)
