Timing needs to be changed. Not 5-6 hours as advertised. Had to miss second half of the trip.
Disappointing tour. Badly organised. Under estimated in duration. Suppose to be 5-6 hour tour which I purposely booked to be back early afternoon in the city. By 3.30pm (after 8.50am start) we were only half way through. I had to cut the tour short and miss two of the sights on this tour, otherwise trip would have been 11+hours. Most of the morning was spent waiting around. When speaking to the tour guide he said other tours do finish in 6 hours, depends on the group. Our group was prompt and punctual so that was not the case at all. The time waiting for the “safari” cars was 1 hour sitting and waiting in the bus. No schedule or planning was seen. The cars to the mud volcano should come with a warning, high speed, no window, no seat belt and a very bumpy dirt track. Two stars for the comfortable bus (before the old beaten cars for the mud volcano) and the nice group of people on the tour. Needs massive on timekeeping.

A journey through time that you will never forget
We had a magnificent journey back in time with our guide. Highly recommended, very knowledgeable and with excellent English. Don't miss the opportunity to be accompanied by Abdullah through the streets of the old city of Baku. Price is fair. Thanks a lot Abdullah, we will for sure recommend you to our Italian friends going to visit Baku!

    Great tour, amazing guide!
Great tour! It was an individual tour, so very custom made for me given I already knew something about the region, with lots of personal touches and discussions. Abdullah is very knowledgeable, charismatic and is clearly super interested in Azerbaijani history and culture - we ended up walking for 5 hours, the time just flew by! A special highlight is an Armenian church, I really appreciated it being a part of the tour given the history, and was the main reason I chose this tour initially. All in all, highly recommend!

Most off beat city tour in baku
This truly was the most off beat city tour of baku. Abdullah added so much meaning and detail to the streets of the old city in Baku and a few other places with both historical and fresh perspectives. He walked with us, imparted his knowledge about everything in and out of Azerbaijan, shared stories and anecdotes, asked and answered questions, showed us a few hidden gems in Baku, explained the importance and historical value of so many structures and all of it in very clear , fluent and comprehensible English. He gave good recommendations for traveling in and around Baku. Would 100 percent recommend his tour in Baku.

The best city guide in Baku! Recommended fun and interesting guided city tour.
On this tour, Abdullah taught me so much about Azerbaijan as a country, the customs, was of life and culture as well as the culture and connection to neighbouring countries 🙏☺️ Abdullah was the most historically knowledgeable, funny and positive guide, connecting the city to things happening in the rest of the world since the beginning of the Persian Empire until now. He had an amazing storytelling and connected the city’s monuments and buildings to historical events, fun facts and local history. He is warm, friendly and helpful and has lots of good tips for what you can do and see in Baku and I recommend this tour for everyone from kids, teenagers to adults! The tour was in my opinion 10/10 and one of the best historical city tours I have been on 👏👏 He also recommended a delicious local dinner for me in advance of the tour and tips for what to do the next day. Abdullah is your go to guide and local 😃

    A brilliant experience!
This was a great walking tour of the old parts of Baku city. The tour takes around 3 hours though we took a little more as we walked more leisurely and had long conversations with our guide at each of the "stops". Our guide, Mr Abdullah Chhab, was superb! He was passionate about history (we talked Baku, but also Iran, the Societ Union, and some other other history, including insights from Abdullah's personal background). He shared interesting snippets with us throughout the tour, not just on the historical context of the place but also on restaurants we could check out, and on local cuisine. He was fun to talk to, and ensured that we had a great time; he paced the tour well, and made the tour thoroughly enjoyable all. Thanks, Abdullah, and all the best for your future!

Baku- old town with a fresh perspective!
Being greeted by Abdullah outside Icherisheher station - we were looking forward to the walking tour! He paced the tour just right and was very engaging giving us comprehensive knowledge at different stops. The 3 hour walking tour, brushed off in a jiffy in the cobbled streets of old Baku: the culprit - the young enthusiast, Abdullah who made sure we not only got to see the main attractions, but also made sure we got a great feel of the place and know the history and culture! What a better way to see a city, other than with a local who can bring the place to life in his own unique way! As an add on, he left us with his personalised tips- what to eat, shop and explore around the city.

A wonderful walk around Old city Baku.
Was a pleasure meeting Abdullah, went for a walk all across the area (old city baku) and explored the beautiful areas of the city along with some gem cafe and outlook spots that u will hardly see by cars Information provided was interesting even thu I'm not into history. He also didn't mind adding one more location I wanted to see in short notice. I'd highly recommend this tour for everyone visiting Baku!
