For those who are fans to plunge into the world of the Middle Ages, Lahij should be first on the list of places where You need to go. Located in the Ismayilli region of Azerbaijan, in the intermountain basin of the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus, Lahij village attracts with its preserved historical appearance. There “another world” will open for you, so different from the usual modern cities. It seems as if you make a leap in time five centuries ago. Walking through the old narrow streets, you will plunge into the real world of the Middle Ages with mosques, baths, and paved with river stone-houses in which people live today. Since ancient times Lahij is famous for handicrafts and carpets. On your way, you will encounter a variety of workshops, where the craftsmen will show you a warm welcome.

Well I had couple of events with local restaurants trying to cheat tourists which happens to any tourists but never the less best Baku tour really provided good service with extremely good drivers, comfortable cars and good level of satisfaction in a reasonable rate. I will strongly suggest BBT to any tourists planning to visit Azerbaijan and want to visit places without any hassles. Wonderful day out of the city. Great to get a glimpse of life outside... first the barren and dry, then up into the green mountains.
Karim was a great guide; knowledgeable and friendly.
Comfortable vehicle, safe driving, happy to stop along the way to do things we saw like buy fruit at the fruit stalls, taste a glass of wine at a winery.
Highly recommended!
