- Megzter0 contributionsGood guide and tour but not the tour managers needGood tour seeing the main sights of Azerbaijan. The guide was good and provided good information Can’t however say the same about the driving and the tour manager. Driving was terrible and tour manager does not take feedback well and also threatened with legal action for honest feedback being provided.Written November 18, 2024
- M4575ILmauriziod0 contributionsBest company, unforgettable experienceI took a tailored tour around Azerbaijan (Baku and surroundings, Sheki, Quba, several viaalges) combined with a tour to Nakhchivan. Artunj, the manager, was able to organise everything on the highest level and found highly-knowledgeable guides, Elvin, Mubariz and Sama. Artunj was also able to rearrange everything when I was made to postpone my flight. Azerbaijan is a country with rich history and beautiful nature, a bit off the beaten track but worth a visit beyond any doubt. I highly recommend visiting less known places, such as Sheki, Quba and especially Nakhchivan, the largest (and the most beautiful) exclave in the world. I can wholeheartedly recommend Azerbaijanguide.az as a company, where your requests will be fulfilled and attended to and the country itself as one of the most amazing places I have ever visited!Written November 8, 2024
- Chandan_paul10 contributionsA week full of fun in AzarbaijanWhat a lovely Trip we had in Azarbaijan Organized by Ertunc, each day was planned carefully keeping in mind the excitement as well as leisure time, both the hotels in Baku and Qabala were Superb, Also both Ertunc and our tour guide were available always on beck and call, overall we enjoyed a lot and a hassle free experienceWritten October 17, 2024
- HCovik0 contributions9 Day Private Azarbaijan and Georgia TourWe arranged our trip through Tourradar and Artunj, our tour manager did a great job communicating with us. Elvin was our very knowledgeable driver and guide during our stay in Azarbaijan. He proudly and thoroughly explained the local cultures, foods, religions and history to us. We enjoyed the contrast between old an new in Baku. The old city is interestng and very walkable and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful Carpet Museum and modern Haydar Aliyev Art Museum. The city has a strong connection with oil and is surrounded by oil refineries. As a matter of fact we visited the world's oldest commercial oil well right outside of Baku. A side trip to a mud volcano was quite an experience racing and bouncing over dirt roads in a Russian Lada. Another highlight was a sidetrip to Qobustan National Park and excellent Petroglyphs Rock Art Museum with Homo Sapiens and Neanderthal rock carvings. Some other visits were to historic Lahic village with quaint cobblestone streets and the ancient Atashgah Zoroastran Fire Temple. Sheki is an interesting and beautiful city in the Caucuses mountains. Especially interesting was our visit to the Stained Glass Workshop at the palace of the Sheki Khans. We loved our ride through the mountains to the mountain village of Kish with its very narrow streets to visit the ancient Albanian church. On our way to the Georgian border we stopped at the lovely. but smallish, Mamirli (mossy) waterfall, involving another exciting car ride along a rocky road/stream bed. Arriving at the Georgian border Elvin helpfully waited to make sure we made it accross. Once across we knew we arrived in the country were wine originated about 8000 years ago as our driver's first action was to drop us off at a winery for some wine tasting. This would not be our last opportunity. The city of Tiblisi reminded us of some southern European cities with its cobblestoned streets and balconies. The city feels very inviting and Nino our guide made us feel at home. She toured the city with us and shared her extensive knowledge of her country and was more than willing to answer all our questions as odd as they may have been. With Nino we visited a traditional bakery for some wonderful breads as well as Bodbe's St. Nino 's Convent Cathedral. After that to Sinaghi to walk the old city wall. And, of course, wine tasting and more wine tasting and, let's not forget the Chacha, the Georgian wine wodka akin to the Italian grappa. Georgian wines are very fresh and tasty both red and white and are made Georgian style (a process involving pressing whole grapes) or European style. Our last visit was to a family winery in a very beautiful setting for some more tasting and explaining of processes and special tools involved. In closing we want to thank our guides Elvin and Nina for sharing their knowledge and love for their cultures, language and history with us. Accommodations and their locations were very good. We especially loved the very fresh traditional foods. One important reminder though. Bring comfortable shoes. Both Elvin and Nino will be mindful of your mobility, but no matter, it will enhance your experiences. Lastly, we recommend Tourradar. We've used them before. Enjoy your travels.Written October 5, 2024

- garryd5760 contributionsExcellent service, highly recommended.Absolutely great service, the driver had a clear sign with my name on at the Arrivals gate and assisted with our luggage. As it was 3am, he wanted to ensure we were being dropped off at the correct address and telephoned our Airbnb host to confirm before taking us to the correct location - it wasn't easy as most of the main roads around Baku had been closed off for the Formula 1 race. He was very friendly and thankfully also had him to pick us up for our return journey to the airport at 3am. I strongly recommend their service, felt secure in the knowledge that they care for you regardless of the time of day 👍👍👍Written September 21, 2024

- mimiMexico_df0 contributionsGreat serviceNothing scares me more, than to arrive to a new Country, where I don’t speak their language…and english is not an option…. But there it was… a driver was sent to the airport to pick us up…. Huge relief… Next day we began touring.. we chose day one itinerary and for the next day, the 2nd itinerary…. For the third day, we had special requirements…. And they helped us every step of the trip… they were perfect… Farhad, was a great guide and driver… always on time, attentive, with helpful knowledge, great attitude and a big smile… We were able to enjoy our Azerbaijan’s stay… even when the last day, another driver was supposed to pick us up at 7 am and drive us to the airport… he wasn’t there… Just a message to Ertunc Artunj, and the problem was solved… he even booked a Taxi, cause the Formula 1 races preparation, closed several streets, so the appointed car wasn’t able to arrive. We could feel how worried he was with the delay, constantly checking us, telling us in advance, where did we have to check in… which we highly appreciate it, cause there weren’t any signs that could help us know where to queue! - Robyn M0 contributionsAzerbaijan Private TourBaku had excellent museums, I loved the Museum of Modern Art, great parks & statues to explore. In general monuments were well maintained as were the buildings . The Noble House Museum is worth booking a tour, great history in this home. Baku is a modern city with oil being drilled in the city today. It has great restaurants & wine friendly people which makes for a good experience. Out in the country I enjoyed seeing the mud volcanoes, Sheki city, waterfalls & it does have very different terrain as we travelled through the country on good roads. A oil rich country worth visiting.Written September 4, 2024

- JUShah0 contributionsGreat tour to see the best pieces of historyThe tour was good. Rovshen is a great guide and he was warm, friendly, and very accommodating. No complaints in the timings, the extended hours, and very calm and relaxed in ensuring that we completed the entire tour at ease with compassion all the way! Overall, a great experience and a must recommend.Written August 19, 2024
- farahh1190 contributionsExcellent service and tourThe trip was great. Our tour guide Farhad did an excellent job explaining all the details. He spoke English well, was professional and courteous. We had a slightly modified tour, as we started with Bibi Heybat, mud volcanoes, Qobustan- as we wanted the tour to be 4 hrs.Written July 21, 2024

We went from baku all the way up to shahdag with artunj from Azerbaijan guides. Could not have chosen a better company. Artunj is just the nicest guy who made a very long trip very enjoyable! His friendliness and his knowledge compared with a good portion of humour made this trip one to remember.
We had a wonderful lunch break on the way in an authentic Azerbaijanian restaurant and not some tourist rip off which made the whole trip even better.
Thank you so much artunj for a wonderful experience!

We had an absolute blast of a time in Shahdag! A few hours drive away from Baku, it is a must visit if you love winter activities. The views are beautiful and there are lots of different activities to do from skiing to paragliding but I’d recommend the Shahdag Coaster the most! It is a must do that you shouldn’t miss!
We took a day trip, however you can even stay there.
If you’re going for a day trip don’t forget to take snacks with you because most of the shops there were overpriced as it’s a tourist spot.
