About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Nick T0 contributionsA memorable day outIt was quite an adventure as we had to drive through a snowstorm. The driver (sorry, I forgot his name) was incredibly professional and kept calm, even when reversing down an icy hill! Hasmik ( correct spelling I hope) was brilliant. She conveyed her great love of Armenian history very well and with great enthusiasm. She also showed consideration, patience and good humour, all of which created a friendly atmosphere. The tour packs in a huge amount in such a short time. Garni, the Symphony of Stones and Geghard are all spectacular but also very different. The bread making was very interesting to watch and the food was good. Thanks very much to all your team for a very special day out.Written March 25, 2025
- fourthreetwoone0 contributionsGreat experienceEverything was great -- pickup from our hotel, the tour itself and then drop off where we requested. The tour conducted by the guide, plus there is also a car driver, so guide's full attention is on you. We really enjoyed the tour and recommend it to everybody, who visits Yerevan for a few days.Written March 25, 2025
- 258dhanrajd0 contributionsPoor planning, misleading information, and waste of money. Disappointing experience with Yerani tour agency. This was my second trip with Yerani Travel. My first experience was average, but the tour guide convinced me to give it another chance and try their day trip covering Lake Sevan, Dilijan, and a winery. The trip was planned for 8 to 9 hours. Before booking, I visited their office and specifically asked if we could expect snow during the trip. Their staff confidently told me that the snow season was over and that snow would only be visible in high mountain areas. Based on this, I booked the tour. I also requested a discount and was given 10% off. The next morning, we started the trip at 9 a.m. Unfortunately, the weather was bad—it was raining right from the start. According to their policy, tours could be cancelled due to bad weather with a full refund, but despite this, the trip went ahead. As we drove towards Dilijan, the weather worsened. we encountered snowfall on the way—long before even reaching Dilijan. The snow was intense, and none of us were prepared for it. Very few were wearing snow boots. Due to the weather, we couldn’t enjoy any of the places promised in the itinerary. Stepping out was impossible. My wife and child tried but got their shoes wet and cold immediately, forcing us back onto the bus. Most member in the group were equally unprepared because they did not inform anyone about unexpected weather or snow. The food was another letdown. As vegetarians, the options were extremely limited, and the quality was below average. Although the meal was not included in the package, we still had to pay extra—and it wasn’t worth it. On my first trip, they said salad would be served. However, we never received any salad. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and money. As a tour operator, Yerani Travel should be well aware of weather conditions and advise customers properly. Their failure to do so shows poor planning and a lack of responsibility. What’s worse is that they charge premium prices compared to local tour operators (non trip advisor registered) but fail to deliver on basic expectations. The only positive from this trip was the tour guide—he was knowledgeable and did his best under the circumstances. I’d rate him 5 out of 5. Unfortunately, the agency’s poor communication, misleading promises, and bad planning ruined the experience. Snow and rainfall were really good, location was also good however we could not enjoy it due to miscommunication and poor planning by the agency. I booked this tour based on TripAdvisor ratings and reviews but ended up very disappointed. I don’t recommend this agency. We are planning our visit independently, the same place again—better planning with snow boots, thermals, and umbrella. Money wasted.Written March 23, 2025
- VivQuetzal0 contributionsTotally recommendUnexpectedly great day trip. Booked this trip as it seemed one of the few in that day,, so I didn't have great expectations. However it turned out amazing. There are great stops: the monestary sevanavank on top of sevan lake with its stunning natural beauty, then Haghartsin monestary with beautiful monestary details, and yummy food and fun wine/brandy/loquor tasting. Our driver Edgar did drive super safe and our tour guide Sam was not only super knowledgeable but also made poeple feel welcome and shared about the country beyond the tour itinerary. Amazing experience!Written March 22, 2025
- 945jlt0 contributionsUnforgettable Day Trip with Yerani Travel! We had an amazing time exploring Khor Virap, Noravank, Areni Cave, and a fantastic wine tasting with Yerani Travel! Our guide, Anastasia, was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly funny, we shared so many laughs along the way. She even taught us how to dance an Armenian dance, making the trip even more special! Our driver, Edgar, was excellent, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride. From the breathtaking views at Khor Virap to the stunning Noravank Monastery and the fascinating Areni Cave, every stop was memorable. The wine tasting was the perfect way to end the trip. The tour was well-organized, fun, and truly unforgettable. Highly recommend Yerani Travel, especially with Anastasia and Edgar, for a fantastic adventure in Armenia!Written March 21, 2025
- leilahG7965ZF0 contributionsGreat Stay at Holiday Inn Express Yerevan!I had a very good stay at Holiday Inn Express Yerevan. The location is great for sightseeing, and the staff were friendly. A special thanks to Victoria for her kindness and warm attitude—she made my stay even better! The breakfast was good, but not outstanding. Overall, a nice experience. Thank you!Written March 20, 2025
- Christraveller90 contributionsProbably the best tour in my life!As you can see from my reviews - I rarely write but this time felt the need to do it. Tha amazing tour guides Sam & Anastasia helped us understand the beautiful Armenian people and the hidden beauty of Armenia. Hospitality that warm like the Greeks. Many similarities between the two cultures as well. Many mentions about the greek origins/inspiration of that mesmerizing temple as well. They were friendly, knowledgable, professionals and ready to help with all my questions, My tip? Have some local currency (dram) to buy fresh products after the monastery visit!Written March 19, 2025
- eiderjose0 contributionsGreat tour 100% recommended.Great tour, recommended 100% although I wish the lunch would have included typical Armenian dishes as it is very interesting for us tourists to try, nevertheless it was pretty good anyway.Written March 15, 2025
- fahrtenluft0 contributionsUnforgettable Tour with Anastasia and Edgar!I had the great pleasure of exploring with Anastasia as my tour guide and Edgar as our driver, and it was simply amazing! Anastasia impressed me with her deep knowledge, warm personality, and ability to answer every question with expertise. She was always there to help, creating a fantastic atmosphere and making the tour a truly memorable experience. Edgar was not only an excellent and safe driver but also incredibly attentive and helpful. He made sure that we felt comfortable at all times and were well taken care of throughout the journey. Thanks to both of them, this tour became an unforgettable adventure. I can wholeheartedly recommend Anastasia and Edgar and would gladly go on another tour with them anytime! Thank you for this incredible experience!Written March 11, 2025
- Dream008155582540 contributionsFun tourI went on the tour a few days ago and everything I experienced was great. From the live chat booking the excursion before my trip, the operator was really friendly, patient and answered all of my questions. They even offered me a discount for booking directly rather than through a 3rd party. When I then went on the tour, Anastasia was so lovely. She really knew a lot and was eager to share the information with us. She also introduced me to Armenian music which I really enjoyed. The tour itself was great fun. Lake Sevan is truly beautiful. I decided to hike the 250+ steps up to the churches overlooking the lake and the view was so worth it. We then went to Dilijan which was a cute village and finally Ijevan Wine and Brandy Factor was a highlight for me. The food could have been better (they said BBQ but really it was fried chicken), but the history of the place, the flavours of wine, fruit vodka and cognac we tasted were great. The shop there also had very reasonably priced wine etc. next time I come, I’ll definitely check a bag so I can stock up. Thanks Anastasia for a great tour!Written March 11, 2025
- Compass194651658950 contributionsGreat value, interesting and informativeThe tour was very informative, gave enough time for everyone to explore and see the sites, and . Our guide, Anastacia, was funny, explained everything very clearly (and , and so friendly. It was so easy to ask her questions, because she knew so much and was happy to take the time to answer. She even took the time to make the road travel more fun and interactive! Our driver, Marat, was excellent on the road and very friendly. I had no worries at all about the safety of the trip, and some people were so relaxed that they were able to fall asleep! The pacing of the sites vs driving time was very good. We were quite lucky that the skies were clear, so it was easy to see Mount Ararat, but the real draw was Anastacia's explanations. I would gladly book again with Yerani Travel.Written February 20, 2025
- amber-12900 contributionsA great timeOur guide Anastasia was really helpful and informative but also fun. She made sure to keep us in a good mood all throughout our tour. She was also really punctual. Our driver Marat was also great: his driving was smooth as butter I really enjoyed the many attractions we visited and I was happy to be able to try making Lavash bread myself. I would definitely recommend it to everyoneWritten February 18, 2025

- 94israd0 contributionsEnjoying Armenia🥰We had city tour just today with Meline our tour guide, very sweet lady, who is approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. She shared lot of information about Armenian history in a very interesting way, and took us around the city. In addition to that she is a professional photographer. Our driver Avet as well was very friendly and arrived on time. We enjoyed Meline company.Written February 10, 2025

The tour was all in all worth it and memorable. While we had several mishaps along the way, we were very grateful that our guide, Anastasia, as well as our driver, were with us and extended assistance far beyond what was expected of them. We definitely enjoyed touring and taking pictures at Tbilisi city and was definitely glad we booked our tour via this travel agency.
