- Sunshine388867698230 contributionsAwesome tour to Armenia and Georgia! In October 2024, Nvard from Central Tour organized a tour for 55 people to Armenia and Georgia. Organizing a group that big is no small feat, but Nvard managed it exceptionally well! In the course of a week we went to many of historic sites, wine tasting, and city tours. Nvard handled everything including busses, visas, hotels, and airport transfer. During the tours she brought a wealth of knowledge and made it fun and interactive. I definitely would recommend Central Tour and Nvard for trips to Armenia and the wider region!!!Written October 27, 2024
- Z5378MKemmap0 contributionsGreat tour for large groupThis was our second time working with Central Tour. Nvard did a great job organizing the tour to both Armenia and Georgia for a very large group (55 people). Will definitely book tours with her again in the future!Written October 23, 2024
- 535jinz0 contributionsAmazing trip with 5 star tour guide! We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Nvard as our tour guide for our 55-person school trip. She was always quick to respond to messages, greeted us with a constant smile, and went above and beyond to find solutions to our problems. I was particularly impressed by her explanation at the Genocide Museum—she has a remarkable ability to synthesize complex historical contexts and present them in a clear, accessible way. I highly recommend her to anyone!Written October 23, 2024
- M3995ZFchrisk0 contributionsGreat tour! The tour through Armenia gave a wonderful picture of the country from the beautiful monasteries and old churches to the brandy factory to the genocide memorial. Nvard is an amazing tour guide - she handled everything for us and taught us so much about her home.Written October 23, 2024
- tonv8730 contributionsAmazing Urbex Armenia, Just do it!Thanks Nvard of Central Tour Armenia, what a well Urbex tour you organized with Hanzebeeld. All the different places we visited, the sanatoriums, the hospitals, the fac tories, it was amazing. It must have a very well prepared tour, so that we could visit these wonderful urbex places, without any graffiti. And also all the restaurants or the places where we ate were great, and gave us a feeling of the Armenian culture. Never we had to wait long , it was so well prepared, Thank you Nvard, you were great!!Written October 6, 2024
- Markthetraveller20100 contributionsExcellent day tripI had an amazing day visiting Khor Virap and Noravank finishing with wine tasting in Areni. Nvard was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and was a great guide for the trip. The car arrived on time, the drive was scenic once outside Yerevan and the car was comfortable. The two monasteries were stunning especially Noravank. I was lucky with the weather to have great views of Mount Ararat. The visit to the winery was very good with a selection of 5 wines to try. Overall a really great day. Thank you Nvard!Written September 30, 2024
- johnu7890 contributionsYerevan day tourI feel very lucky to have found Central Tours for a day trip to St Hripsime Church, Echmiadzin, and the genocide memorial. Visiting these sights with Nvard was such a fun and enlightening introduction to Armenian history and culture. It really piqued my interest in learning more about Armenian culture and the history/geopolitics of the region. Not only do I have great photos but, thanks to Nvard, I also have a wealth of new information (like the Armenian alphabet doubles as a numbering system) and a new perspective on world events. Next time I’ll plan for a multi day tour.Written December 15, 2023
- studior1070 contributionsExcellent Guide on an Excellent tourWhat a wonderful experience the urbex trip to Armenia. With Nvard a more than excellent guide, a guide who has so much knowledge and is also a very sweet, friendly woman. In one word fantasticWritten September 26, 2023
- mkazman0 contributionsThe ONLY way to see ArmeniaThis was the BEST experience I have ever had traveling. It felt as though we were traveling with a dear friend rather than a guide. Nvard and her team are the best you will find in Armenia, so don’t bother looking elsewhere. She created an itinerary that was custom for our time in Armenia. She and her team were in time every single day to pick us up. Not to mention, she asked if we wanted to go to some amazing spots that were not even on the tour as an additional bonus. Nvard is so well versed about her country and culture and I am so thankful to have met her. She is a person I will call a dear friend for life. Nvard thank you and your team so much for the most authentic and unforgettable experience of Armenia! You will ABSOLUTELY see us again!Written August 7, 2023
- Ilovetotravel1550 contributionsExcellence!I could not be happier with the tour today and with the amazing guide Karine - she is so friendly, knowledgeable and full of energy. We visited places of extraordinary beauty and enjoyed a wine tasting as well. The lunch was the cherry on top of the cake, in a very beautiful venue. We spent a high quality tour, in the hands of our careful driver Tigran as well. THANK YOU! Excellent agency, organization qnd punctuality 😃Written May 28, 2023
- DutchChennai0 contributionsBreathtaking ArmeniaArmenia is a beautiful country, offering spectacular nature, food, culture and people. Nvard from Central Tours made the trip to Armenia a memorable and happy experience. She assisted us with the e-visa to the suggestions on the itinerary, and then taking us around the different sights. Her understanding of the country and her rich experience made our journey well worth the visit. Armenia has a lot to offer, the local cuisine, the mountainous terrains, historical sites etc. We did not face any challenges in finding vegetarian cuisines. I would highly recommend visiting this country and for sure through the services of Nvard and her company. I must add their prices were reasonable as well.Written April 9, 2023
- rachelhI2681KA0 contributionsExcellent day trip to beautiful placesWe had an absolutely fantastic time on our day trip. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and the driver was excellent too. There was a good amount of time in each place and she explained everything clearly and gave us the option of free time. She also has beautiful singing in the monastery! Thank you for a great tour.Written August 29, 2022
- veer22840 contributionsScenic Beauty Armenia !!!!!Wonderful scenic city and so much so to explore and nothing can be better if you have a very supportive, accommodating and very knowledgeable tour manager. Nvard is an absolute professional and knows how to make your trip memorable. We were a group of 12 people with 4 kids. Nvard handled the entire tour starting from Hotels/Logistics/Guide. We could actually enjoy the trip as we didnt had to manage any other hastles. Would Highly recommend her if you are planning to take a trip to this beautiful country.Written April 25, 2022
- twogoats0 contributionsWe were so luckyWe were so lucky to have Nvard and her husband Tigan (?) as our guide and driver for our short private tour of Armenia. They were lovely, helpful, funny, good company and, as is important for this review, informative, well spoken (good English) and in a short time knew what we liked. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Their vehicle was modern, comfortable and roomy. Although we were only in Armenia for 3.5 days we saw and learnt so much about this cradle of Christianity. Nvard's knowledge of the country's history and culture was excellent. I highly recommend Nvard as a guide. I should add that we felt the cost of the tour was very fair. I look forward to showing Nvard and Tigan around Sydney should they ever venture to Australia.Written April 5, 2020

With one free day in Yerevan before work meetings, I decided to treat myself to a tour of Geghard Monastery and Garni temple. They are great sights, but Central Tour made the trip a wonderful experience. I couldn't believe the quality of the service. Nvard was in touch with me by text before and after I arrived in Yerevan to answer questions and offer help. I found this very reassuring as a first-time visitor. Her colleagues Vard (the guide) and Artur (the driver) were equally helpful. Vard's knowledge was really impressive, even for my rather niche interests, and I found it easy to talk to her. We made extra stops at a lavash bakery and the Symphony of Stones, which were very enjoyable. On the way back, they made another stop to help me change money, which was definitely above and beyond!

A short drive out of Yerevan, Armenia is a faithfully reconstructed Temple originally constructed during the first century AD. This is the only “Pagan Temple” in the First Nation to be “decreed” a Christian Nation. By being designated the tomb of the King who issued the Christian decree, this is the only Temple remaining in the country.

Our day trip to Garni and Geghard was memorable. Our guide, Nvard, was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a comfortable journey to both places listening to general information about Armenia. At the sites, she not only provided detailed information about Garni and Geghard but also went out of her way to facilitate our experience e.g by singing beautifully inside one of the chambers of the monastery to demonstrate how the acoustics work. When I asked her about a museum in Arindj that I had read about, she not only gave me information about it but also took us there for no extra charge. It was a wonderful way to experience a bit of Armenia and I hope we will see more of the country with her.
