- 4marvinl0 contributionsWonderful, fun and exciting tour!I enjoyed the tour handled by Hyur Service in the name of Ms. Manya. She's a great host/guide. They offer complimentary bottled water. The tour started on time and ended just on time as described online. Affordable packages are available and their location (office) is easy to find within the heart of Yerevan. Highly recommend this to my friends and family.Written January 17, 2025

- 257evgeniam0 contributionsGarni Temple, Geghard Monastery, Lavash bakingEverything was great! Both the temples, pagan and Christian one, were beautiful. Everything was white from the snow and the mountains were majestic. Unfortunately we could not see the mount Ararat because of the mist, but in a clear sky you can get a great view. Our driver Karen, and our guide, Gayane, were very nice and we definitely felt the Armenian hospitality. We got an extra monument, Symphony of stones, as a bonus. Definitely recommend.Written January 13, 2025
- perill00 contributionsA beautiful day trip from YerevanIm grateful to the super guide Anna and his helpful driver ( name very difficult to be pronounced) that took me in approx 10 hours tour, my first touch of Armenia and amazing ancient history, I do appreciated a lot. - Андрей В0 contributionsWell-organized trip through Armenian history with water and candies.I was deeply impressed by the eloquence of our guide, Marina, in the most positive sense, and the excellent driving skills of our driver, Garik. They delivered a rich and engaging story in two parts, introduced us to centuries-old temples spanning six centuries, and allowed us to witness a liturgy at the Echmiadzin Cathedral. Marina not only narrated the main historical accounts but also skillfully addressed additional questions. The only aspect I had reservations about was the optional visit to a temporary exhibition at the Echmiadzin Cathedral Museum. It lasted 20 minutes and felt somewhat underwhelming in terms of content. Throughout the trip, water was always available, and we were treated to cookies and candies. So, I'd be happy to take part of this tour. Thank you, Marina and GarikWritten January 12, 2025

My colleague and I were impressed by the beauty of Armenian lanscape, history, culture and cuisine.
And all this was facilitated by our wonderful guide Ms Varduhi Egoryan (Rose). She is an excelent guide who was able to provide a lot of interesting informations regarding the past and the present Armenia.
Thank you very much!
We strongly recommend this tour - the places are amaizing, the guide explanations are revelant and helpul to discover Armenia
The driver Armin is a very skilled driver (from a person who has motion sickness)
The restaurant was also very nice and the food was very taisty!
Thank you very much !

I recently had an incredible experience exploring Armenia’s stunning landscapes and monasteries with Karen and his driver Aro. Our journey across Lake Sevan was truly memorable, with breathtaking views that will stay with me forever. Karen’s extensive knowledge of the region and its history made the trip even more enriching, and Aro’s skilled driving ensured our safety and comfort throughout the adventure. Together, they crafted an itinerary that perfectly balanced sightseeing and relaxation, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty and serenity of the Armenian monasteries. Karen and Aro’s professionalism, warm hospitality, and genuine passion for their work truly made this journey unforgettable. I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking an authentic and awe-inspiring experience in Armenia.

We took the full day tour including Lake Sevan, Dilijan, and three monasteries. While we have been enjoying Yerevan for more than a week, this was our first venture out of the city to see the countryside. The tour was wonderful and we got to see the countryside to the north of Yerevan and enjoyed all the stops. Lake Sevan, one of the largest alpine lakes in Eurasia, was quite beautiful. The monasteries were ancient and very interesting, particularly the Haghartsin Monastery, which is a UNESCO site.
The trip was made complete by our guide, Rose, who was full of energy and shared details on each place we visited. We really like the restaurant where we stopped to have lunch.
The tour was given in Russian and English and even though the Russian speakers outnumbers us, we felt we all got equal attention. After the last stop we actually had an Armenian dance performance by Rose and several of the other guests next to the bus on music played on the bus. It capped off a delightful day.

It was a wonderful trip to Sevan lake and Dilijan district. The nine houres trip was full of new impressions and historic information given very professionally by our guide Samwel. Sam is very knowledgable and helpful. The bus driver, Ara, is very skilful on complicated serpentine Armenian roads. We highly recommend Hyur Agency as a tourist company for organising your one day tours in Armenia.

That was a really great tour around beautiful places in Armenia. Khachick drove us safe and Rose was a particularly enthousiastic and passionate local guide.
We learn a lot about Armenian traditions and monasteries.
The time spent in each place was perefect and we appreciated the little things That makes the différence (water, cake, working wifi in the bus).
Highly recommanded!

I'll start with the good: the driver and the bus, it was comfortable and calm, thanks to Norik.
I really liked the part with the monasteries, the views around and the monasteries themselves were beautiful, near one we even managed to make a short trek to the mountains)
Now to the bad:
1. Everything about Sevan was very disappointing. There is very little time to explore, everything is from afar. Upon arrival at the lake, run up a narrow staircase through a crowd of beggars and merchants, there are a lot of people, there is almost no space. It’s dirty at the top, the view is dubious because of the heaps of shalmans below, plus the lake, as planned, is at lunchtime, the sun is at its zenith, the water glares, you can’t see that mind-blowing color. Here's an Armenian pearl, that's the impression. At the top there is a lecture from the guide, which could be given on the bus and not take away 25 minutes out of the 45 that you are allotted to the lake and the monastery.
It was especially offensive on the way back, Sevan at sunset - a breathtaking sight that we flew past on the way back, why not include a stop at the observation deck near the lake to get to know it, and not with the sucked granny and traders near the monastery?
2. Lunch is shameful, there is almost no choice, the taste is questionable, the price tag is unreasonably high. For the price of an excellent business lunch at a restaurant, you get two bitter vegetable salads, a tiny piece of watermelon (which is listed on the menu as seasonal fruit), tasteless cheese and cheap lemonade. Only the bread was excellent.
In total, the restaurant won - they brought a crowd of tourists, Yur received his kickback from the restaurant, and you paid for it all in full) It’s better to take a snack with you.
3. We were also unlucky with the guide, Tatev is a nice woman, she normally made sure that everyone did not scatter, she kept the group in a heap, coordinated, but there was no presentation of the material, no emotions, no jokes, she froze and made long pauses in the middle of a sentence, uh-oh, both in the Russian and Armenian parts, she spoke uncertainly, as if at the blackboard, it was difficult to listen.
4. Dilijan - it’s generally unclear why they take it there, as if it’s only really because of Mimino, the old city is not old at all, a purely tourist remake. It would be better if they gave us more time for Sevan.

I highly recommend Hyur Services if you are looking for a group tour and private tour. Apart from having a reasonable price in their tour packages they move on time and the entire tour was smooth and worth a while. Having Tignam our tour guide who’s smart, active, funny and energetic along with Jairik our driver on the day of our First tour in Lake Sevan, I and my group mate are really happy with the service we received.
Food was excellent ✅
Bus neat and clean and comfortable ✅
Service all in all is 101% beyond and above expectations
Thank you so much Hyur Services you made my vacation so much fun, insighting and memorable.

The tour was very organized. Lion is a great driver and Rose guide us over all the details of the places we visited and clarified as our questions. The lunch was very tasty in a cozy house. We used a brand new big bus with AC and we made the payment online in advance (what is a plus for us).

Tour guide has explained every detail of the place and we enjoyed the experience. They have also made sure that we would get vegetarian food.
The view of Lake Sevan from Sevanavank was breath taking and with how the groups were divided and given time to explore each place was very nice for us to go look around.
The greenery around Hagarstin was so good that we felt we were near a castle not a monastery.
The energy that our tour guide Varduhi had was very good. We thank her for making our trip so entertaining.
We had the tour bus full and it a nice and fun experience all around

An amazing tour but only because of the destinations but also because of the active tour guide and the skilled driver. It’s clear those roads were not made for a bus but our driver, Aro, was an expert driver and got us everywhere with no problem. Our tour guide Rose was incredible, making the most of each location and bringing along a great sense of humor in Armenian, English, and Russian. Overall I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a detailed understanding of Armenia’s rich history and it’s beautiful sights.

Hi, We are planning to visit Armenia on August 21-25. We only have one choice between Lake Sevan and Temple of Garni. Which one would you recommend?
Also, how long before the tour(s) (this specific one) is sold out?
Thx.

You really don’t need to book a tour to Sevan. Download yandex or GG, drivers are generally friendly. There isn’t much to do there except a few Instagram pics! Heavily polluted lake and water is cold! amenities around the lake (it’s huge) but those around the peninsula where the church is are average. The walk upto the church takes no more than 10 minutes! You won’t need a guide for this.

Hello, my friend and I would like to book your tour in October, but we're also interested in staying one night at Dilijan. Is it possible to Book the tour from Yerevan, but sleep at Dilijan instead of coming back with you to Yerevan? What do you recommend? And if we don't come back with you will it still be the same price?

Dear Ms. Dahliasbh, I have been just a tourist in Georgia. I strongly recomend a visit to Lake Sevan, but I have no idea where you can book the tour from Yerevan. I guess yes, you can. Those small buses Yerevan-Tbilisi are some what terrible in all aspects. If you can avoid them. Have a good trip

On the tours that don’t include lunch, can we select where to eat, or we must go to your selected restaurants ? And if so, how much is lunch per person ?
