An absolutely wonderful day out for our family and a few friends and I really can't recommend this tour company enough. James arranged a whole range of things for us to see and do from visiting local markets to a wonderful cooking experience and he even managed to arrange a small pirate show which we all thought was great fun! Refreshments were provided for us throughout the experience. Thanks again and will be sure to book with you again soon!

Unfortunately due to cruise cancellation we were unable to visit Nha Trang with James and his company. They were great in understanding our situation and refunded full prepayment without hesitation. Impressive professionalism and courtesy. Thank you James.

A first visit to Vietnam and am so glad to use Magical Mystery Tours Nha Trang. A very professional and relaxed week long tour that was catered for our every need fitting in as much as possible. Cannot wait for the next visit. I would like to thank Jane and Jimmy for making our stay in Vietnam a memorable one. Arriving as guests and leaving as friends.

Our day began with my mother and I getting picked up from our hotel by Chef Dat to be taken to a food market where we purchased ingredients for the dishes that were to be made during the cooking class. We made other stops including a rice noodle shop and mat weaving shop which were both very interesting. Chef Dat was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and it was an incredible cooking lesson. This is a must do for people who enjoy food or the Vietnamese culture.

We cannot thank James enough for the kindness shown to us. Becore we arrived in Nha Trang my husband had an accident and had difficulty walking. We told James this so that he could tailor the day (which he did). However, he also came to the hotel to lend us some crutches. On the day, James and the driver arrived promptly. We had emailed in advance so knew the itinerary. We visited 3 temples and a cathedral, a traditional house, a market, a weavers, a noodle factory and a silk embroiderers. We were taken for lunch and drinks and mid morning fruit snack with tea. James was knowledgeable and personable. The driver was helpful and a good driver. The vehicle was in good order. We stopped close to the attractions. Recommended

Absolutely fantastic day for our group of 8 with Chef Dat. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough!! Very efficient transfer by taxi from the cruise ship to the mini-bus for the start of the tour. Visited a food market and a made a number of other interesting stops picking up extra items for our cooking experience. Chef Dat generously provided refreshments on the bus and throughout the day and was extremely friendly and knowledgable. As for the cooking class it was without a doubt the best cooking class I have ever taken.... the food was delicious! A must do experience if you are ever in Nha Trang. Thank you so much Chef Dat for a great day.

It has been a great experience working with James and his company. I was able to tailor the tour and it was spot on. James added sights he thought were in my interest in exploring Nha Trang and it’s countryside. It was a rainy day but it didn’t stop him from walking with us through the sites, explaining its history and other valuable facts. We are thankful we found him on here and would definitely recommend him! Thanks James !

We had a great day tour from cruise ship with Dat from Magical Mystery Tour. We had our own group of 16 and the transport vehicle was great - plenty of room for everyone. Dat was a great tour guide, very informative, friendly, funny and made our day. Had great stops and our visit to orphanage/school was memorable. The included lunch - wow!!! Absolutely scumptious and plenty of it! Would highly recommend Magical Mystery Tours and our guide Dat. Already planning our holiday back to Nha Trang! Lots to see and do there!

We had a wonderful Tour with Gordon. He was waiting outside from the ship. Perfect in Time. Also we are back perfect in time to get on the Shio. The Tour was fantastic and any time i come back to Vietnam i would ask for Gordon. Thank you so much.

Had a fantastic day My was a excellent tour guide we were a very small group and she accommodate us very well both My and the driver took us a bit off the beaten track which we loved. We had a fantastic lunch which she helped us choose, even managed to fit on a trip to the supermarket for some Vietnamese tea.

Magical Mystery tours truly cater the day around you. Gordon was a great guide. He came to meet us the day before our tour to ensure that the day was totally catered around us. We had a awesome day seeing some of the well known sites around town. The highlight of the day however was visiting places very few tourists get to see, which is a refreshing break from squeezing your way through hundreds of tourists. Thanks Gordon for a fun day and a fantastic lunch.

We were a group of 4 friends (1 of whom is 90 yrs old) who wanted a private day tour. We had done a day tour with James last year so had recently seen many of the sights Nha Trang has and did not want to repeat going to those places. This year James arranged for “Auntie” to be our guide. Her English was good and she was waiting for us when we got off the tender with a sign with my name on it. The meeting point was just outside the port gates which was much easier than last year when we had to taxi to the sailing club to meet James. The minibus was air conditioned and clean. The only thing I would say was the step to assist in getting into the bus would not extend properly, and while for most this would not be an issue it did make things harder for the 90 yr old to get on and off the bus. Our first stop was to view Chong Rocks. This was worthwhile and the centre from where the rocks can be viewed is lovely with trees shading an area where you can get coffee. There were also some beautiful orchids growing here. While here we also were able to observe some ladies playing local musical instruments like a xylophone that was made from Rocks, and another instrument made from bamboo. Next we went to the Yersin museum. It is only small but was interesting to us (retired nurses). Dr Yersin was a bacteriologist who lived in Nha Trang for some years. We visited a small fishing village out in the countryside and enjoyed some refreshments and tried our hand at fishing with a bamboo rod (unsuccessfully). The Nha Trang Cathedral was also on our list as was a visit to the conical hat makers and the Ancient House. Lunch was provided and this year we went to a BBQ restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful but we would really rather have had some Vietnamese food, but this was not a big issue. James met us at lunch to check that all was OK - he was busy with another tour group that day. This was not the most exciting tour but if you have been to Nha Trang previously and seen the more popular sights this is a good way to fill in your day. James is very happy to modify his tours to fit your requirements.

James was a fantastic host and tour guide. He took us to the back alley stops that we would otherwise drive past. It was an eye opening adventure full of smells and sights and a view into the life of local Vietnamese.

Jimmy and Jane are amazing! My family and I went to Nha Trang in Oct 2017 and did 2 Magical Mystery Tours. Guides Jimmy and Jane where very knowledgeable, the food was great, the beer was cold and the laughs were endless! Recommend the city tour if you are looking for the hidden gems....finished off with cocktails high in the sky. Highly recommend Magical Mystery Tours
