- L657ESericd0 contributionsCulture trip including river boat ride orphanage and matt weavingAbsolutely fantastic from start to finish. Gives you real insight to real life in Vietnam. The knowledge of pham our guide was second to none. If the visit to the orphanage doesn't touch you nothing will. It makes you feel so humble. If you ever visit nha trang this is a must do tour. Make sure you look for pham tours.Written August 9, 2024
- Roam172076804270 contributionsGreat private Bo Ha waterfall tourDuc was a fantastic guide. The falls were great and the water was beautiful to swim in. Make sure you bring reef shoes or shoes that you can wear in the water, due to slippery rough rocks. The lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant was plentiful and delicious. Well worth the money for the private tour.Written August 7, 2024
- 608svetlanas0 contributionsWonderful experienceMr Pham is a very experienced guide, a wonderful host, and he has a great ability to create a nice atmosphere and make a tour memorable. Me and my son-teenager had a wonderful day with him. We visited many places, we were listening a lot of interesting stories, we had a tasty lunch. Our guide knew the good spots for photos and we did a lot. Our program was organized perfectly and it was a pity when it came to the end. I highly recommend Phamtours!Written June 27, 2024

- julierogers160 contributionsFun times with Mr Pham!We had an exceptional day out on the Snorkelling tour by speedboat at nha trang! Mr Pham from Pham tours was a brilliant guide! He ensured we had a life jacket for our 3 year old and kept the day running smoothly! He was knowledgeable and kind with a good sense of humour! We loved the day and thank him heaps for his time! The snorkelling was great and the lunch was delicious all finished off with a yummy ice cream and Vietnamese coffee on the mainland. We would definitely recommend Mr Pham to others!Written May 13, 2024

- cricketnut290 contributionsHighly recommended private tourWe did a private tour with Pham Tours during our day in Ho Chi Minh City from the Diamond Princess cruise. This was a Saigon City private tour plus a one journey pedicab ride through the streets of Ho Chi Minh City as well as a coffee stop at the Rex Hotel. Our tour guide Benny was amazing and constantly ensured that we were enjoying our day in Ho Chi Minh Cty. We asked for lunch to be organized at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant which he arranged and was enjoyed by our group of 8. We finished tge tour with a short 40 minute walk around the huge Ben Thanh Market where we bought some knock off bags abd wallets and toys for our grandchildren. On the way bavk to the ship ee had a brief stop at the Post Office for some more items. Entire tour was professionally run by Benny in a spacious air conditioned van and Pham Tours are highly recommended to other cruise passengers. Cost is a fraction of the cost of a ship tour with more flexibility in your itinerary on the day. Originally we had 3 temples on our list but changed our itinerary as ee were templed outWritten January 23, 2024
- cricketnut290 contributionsGreat tour of Nha TrangGreat tour professionally led by Dung Pham himself in Nha Trang. I chose Dungs tour as we previously did a tour with him back in 2016 abd it was such an enjoyable one we had to go with him again. Brilliant tour enjoyed by the 8 people in our private tour group. We went once again to the Ponagar Cham temples, Cape Promthemp for views across the bay, Long Son Pagoda where we saw the huge white Buddha and then had a most enjoyable lunch at a seaside restaurant non touristy as requested before going to the Dam market which we only had a small amount of time as we had to get back to the shop. A very busy enjoyable tour snd Dungs offbeat humor and the information he provided about the places we saw and Vietnam in general was appreciated. Very courteous in assisting us on and off his 10 seater air conditioned vanWritten January 23, 2024
- robinj3290 contributionsGreat private tourWe did the snorkelling tour. The private tour is great as you are not sharing taxi transfers, boat rides, and lunch other people. We enjoyed the day with Pham tourWritten January 9, 2024

- Sunshine5275840 contributionsGreat Service by the Pham ToursPham took us to the beautiful places in Nha Trang City that we requested to visit. He was very accommodating to our requests. We even had a last minute request to include the mud bath in our itinerary which he gladly accepted. He was highly reliable and communication with him was great. He was easy to contact by email & whatsapp and he always replied promptly to our questions & requests on tours and airport transfers in Nha Trang City and Ho Chi Minh City. He made sure driver was available to pick us up 15 mins before the agreed time of our tours and airport transfers. The Nha Trang City tour also included lunch in a beautiful restaurant in the countryside which we all enjoyed. Thank you Pham for the great tour and service! Thank you too to Ben who provided my family a great service during our airport transfers in Ho Chi Minh City and the Half-Day Cuchi Tunnel tour. Pham and Ben are highly-recommended as tour guides for an English-speaking group.Written January 7, 2024

Danny was our guide for the day and he was an excellent guide, waiting for us outside the port with water and a lovely air conditioned van. Our trip included embroidery factory, rice making, visiting the rice fields, hat making and the children’s orphanage where the children are so looked after, such a pleasure to visit. Our lunch was on the river and the food was incredible, the staff were so friendly as well. After lunch we went on a river cruise and then off to the markets, just be prepared to haggle!!
A fabulous day and such good value for money, I think Danny is a credit to the company!!!

Port of Call: Nha Trang Nha Trang Special Countryside + City Tour by 16 seat van + River Cruise by boat .
This is specially tailor-made excursions. Exploring the country trails, village's life, town and farms, pagoda, the best way to experience the "true" Vietnamese countryside. Through countryside trails, villages towns and farms.. This countryside tour offers you a fascinating insight into the "real lives" of everyday people who are the backbone of Vietnam . Just a few kilometers from Nha Trang ’s beach front is the picturesque countryside dotted with palm trees, fruit orchards and irrigated rice paddies.
The first stop of the tour is an embroidery factory . Driving through miles of flat rice fields to a rural village, enjoy the opportunity to interact with the local people as they go about their daily lives, with farming and cottage industries as their primary source of income. The village path leads us to the home of one family who weave mats from rushes which grow abundantly in the surrounding area. Two people working together will weave just four mats in a day, which will be taken to the local market and traded for food and other essentials.
Pagoda Orphanage: where it shelters and cares for over 120 abandoned, orphaned or street children. They range from several months to 9 years of age. The children of the orphanage are taken care of by a group of Buddhist nuns and volunteers. Their goal is to provide the children with a safe and caring environment which lessens their misfortune and gives their lives greater purpose and meaning. Being a private organization, the orphanage is trying to provide its children food, shelter, health and education. The nuns and volunteers at the orphanage have devoted their lives for the wonderful mission - helping the orphans.
Tourists can take photos of Amitabha Buddha statue at a height of 68 meters.
Rice paper making: One of the most typical food from rice steamed and processed into round piece dried in the sun on the bamboo brackets that are on sale in the inns or shops.
Conical hat making village: Conical hat making village: Manual skill work by women, it's also your gift for your friends when toward home.
Ancient house: these are traditionally laid out in the same manner throughout the village. Ancestor worship is an important part of daily life in Vietnam and a large area of these small houses is usually reserved for the family altar. Next, pass through a fruit orchard boasting a plentiful supply of tropical fruits.
Lunch at a riverside restaurant
Ponagar Temples . An outstanding example of Cham architecture, situated on Mount Cu Lao this hillside offers panoramic views of the surrounding.
Visit Dam Market for shopping.
Drop-off outside the port. End of service

Pham's tour guides (there were a bunch of us) was awaiting us just outside the port gates at Nha Trang. We were off immediately. Heng was our tour leader. His English was quite good. First to a Buddhist Temple & Orphanage. Impressive temple but more impressive children. From there to a neighborhood when 2 ladies were making sleeping mats, just as their ancestors had for 100's of years. Thereafter we went to the river and loaded into a small boat for a ride upstream. Beautiful scenery. Then lunch at a private restaurant overlooking the river. Then we saw the Giant Buddha (120’ tall) From there we went to two private home. In one they were making rice noodles and the other “coolie” hats. On the way back to the ship we did q quick stop at a Hindu Temple, a bit of shopping and back to the boat. An amazing day. Pham’s Tours were both excellent an dinclusive. What a value. They covered all the bases!!!.

Dear Harold & Brenda Denton,
Million thanks for complimenting on guide Heng's performance during his trip with you. We've been in business for 19 years and have to say that we've operated this long because of word of mouth. Our belief in caring for each client as an individual not a massed produced service. Our guides understands each traveler needs is different and most importantly to show the best of the country they live in. For cruise ship visitors it's very important for us to maximize their visits on a short day visit. There's no room for errors as time is so short and so many places to see. That's where the value of a good agent shines through. Nha Trang Countryside is an up close and personal experience where you don't look from a car or at museums but you get to see, experience and interact with the local people. It's one of the must-see parts of Vietnam because of the varied cultural experience and southern hospitality. It is where a good experienced guide like Heng can show you the "real" Nha Trang Countryside. The importance of treating all our travelers above their exceptions . It's always a pleasure to hear at the end of the trip that we accomplished our mission to show the best of Nha Trang's people and culture. It is the most rewarding part of our profession when we know our team has met our goal when we read about the wonderful experiences you had during your travels with us. We hope to see you again and have an opportunity to show you other parts of Vietnam when you visit our part of the world again. I will pass on your praises to our guide and staff.
Warmest regards,
Dung Pham

Ours was done as a cruise ship excursions. The tour was excellent! The passenger van was brand new, the driver was fluent in English, the stops were interesting (noodle factory, hat factory, embroidery factory, Mat factory, market, river cruise). There was no pressure to buy anything at the factories. The driver was skilled in navigating the less than perfect roads. The lunch and rinks were delicious. Couldn't ask for more.
