About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- SESUK0 contributionsExcellent private travel and transfer companyWe used Stop and Go to pick us up from Hue train station at 9:00 am and visited 4 sights including Incencse village , the pagoda and tombs before dropping us off at our hotel by 1pm as requested. Sam was our Englush speaking driver who had good knowledge of each place. He waited for us , letting us take however long we wanted as each place. The next day Sam picked us up again to travel to Hoi An via the hai van pass. Sam was an excellent driver, friendly and very informative about everything from family life, local history, the war and also useful information on things such as shopping and bargaining. Everything went smoothly and was very enjoyanleWritten March 16, 2025
- michelledG2207DE0 contributionsFive stars to TrungWe were picked up by Trung and shown on the way lagoon 2, along the Hai Van pass to Marble mountain and finally Hoi Ann. Trung also gave us many recommendations for shopping and things to do, he also very kindly bought us a local delicacy which I can only describe as the best nut brittle 😋. His knowledge was vast and very interesting. A lovely gentlemanWritten March 15, 2025
- Sarah S0 contributionsMr Trung is the best!Mr. Trung picked us up from our hotel right on time in Hue and took us on a fantastic and comfortable drive to Hoi An!! He was so kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. He made so many stops for us to take photos, and he even bought us a local snack on one of our stops. We felt so safe on our drive and we loved the flexibility of being able to stop and chose the amount of time at each stop along the way.Written March 14, 2025
- annb4750 contributionsSafe & knowledgeable driverUsed Stop & Go tours to transport 4 of us from Hue to Hoi A via the Ba na hills. Ha pe was our driver & he spoke good English & gave us a lot of information on route . Also helped us with purchasing tickets when we got to Ba na Hills as well as giving us restaurant recommendations for Hoi An . More importantly he was a very safe driver. Highly recommendedWritten March 12, 2025
- David M0 contributionsFantastic tour between Hoi An and HueGreat trip with Tom! He took us to some beautiful places between Hoi An and Hue (including a delicious oyster/shrimp farm for lunch!) Pick up was on time and nothing too much trouble if we wanted to stop for photos. Hai Van pass is not to be missed!Written March 11, 2025
- Camper349385936890 contributionsFantastic friendly safe driverExcellent. Ha Pe was our driver. Such a lovely guy. Ha pe by name and happy by nature! Very safe driver. Good English. He drove 4 of us from Hue to Hoo A via ba na hills and golden bridge stop and Lang Co beach. He could not have been any better. 100% recommend him.Written March 11, 2025

- wendykohke0 contributionsNice drive from Hue to Hoi AnThe tour from start to end was smooth. The short stop at Lagoon 2 was great. We get to try some baked oysters. The Lang Co beach is overrated. We stopped, took pics and left. The drive along hai Van Pass was a nice scenic drive. We didn’t stop at Lady Buddha because we have already visited the place when in Danang, but worth going ! Beautiful temple. The highlight for us was Marble Mountain. Lots of steps to climb so get ready for some workout. But the caves and marble carvings of Buddha and Quan Yin ( Lady Buddha) were jaw dropping beautiful. I kept asking how did the craftsmen do this at their day and age? Our driver Sam spoke really good English and share with us a lot of information. He was a safe driver. He was punctual for our pick up.Written March 9, 2025
- pritchro0 contributionsGreat Day at the Caves and a lovely Drive!Hien was our driver from Hue to Phong Nha Caves. He picked us up at our hotel and was friendly, courteous, and on-time. The car was clean and comfortable. We picked up our guide, Thach, who was also very friendly and knowledgeable. We all spoke English in a relaxed and friendly manner. Thach guided us through the caves and shared interesting details. We had a great time!!!Written March 8, 2025

Our driver, Tom, took very good care of us, stopping at many attractions along the way. We especially loved Marble Mountain. Tom was in no hurry, allowing us plenty of time to see the sights. The car was very comfortable, with water provided and we felt that we got good value for many. Would definitely recommend this company.Written February 28, 2025

We had a wonderful day out visiting the DMZ with Ms. Hai (tour guide) and Mr Trung (driver). An unexpected private tour! Mr Trung picked us up promptly at 8am and navigated the Hue traffic in the pouring rain all the way to Dong Ha and up to Khe Sanh through to the Vinh Moc tunnels. Whilst the weather was less than ideal Mr Trung was great - driving safely, courteously opening car doors and providing us with umbrellas.
Ms Hai was impressive. With over 30 years experience on the DMZ she could answer any of our questions either related to the war or local Vietnamese people and customs. I learnt so much today that I had no idea about in Vietnam and the war. Ms Hai was patient and accommodating of the time we wanted to spend in certain places, what we felt like for lunch or if we wanted to walk across the river in the rain!
Ms Hai took us through the Vinh Moc tunnels - being very patient of my near panic over being claustrophobic once inside, offering me the option to see how I feel for a short way or an alternative meeting place. I'm soooo glad I went through the tunnels it was an amazing, eye opening and interesting experience.
My partner assessed all the tours before deciding on this one and it was 100٪ worth every penny, whether you are a history buff or know very little like me! Thank you Ms Hai and Mr Trung.

We had a fantastic tour learning so much about the history around the Vietnam war & French occupation.
Starting with Tom our driver who was very informative and an extremely safe driver with excellent English . He was happy to stop whenever we needed to use the bathroom or wanted a drink or something to eat .
We then picked up our tour guide Min in Quang Tri who is a local from the area and previously lived with his mother in Khe Sanh .
Min’s local knowledge and extensive historical knowledge was amazing . He was able to quote what all the US army outposts were by name and point out where all the strategic spots were including showing us historical photos from the war .
It rained all day and was quite cool up in the mountains however this tour is very worth doing if you have an interest in the history of the Vietnam war .
After a stop for a coffee at a picturesque cafe . We then visited Khe Sanh battle ground where Min was very good at explaining what happened in the battle . This is nothing much more than relics from the war and a small museum however quite nostalgic to have visited .
Next we went to Vinh Moc tunnels where Min gave us a thorough explanation of what life was like in these tunnels. We then got to walk through part of the tunnels. The tunnels were an amazing example of engineering with 3. Different levels and housed 75,0000 people .
Next we visited the DMZ and due to rain decided to view the old bridge from the car as Min explained lots about the significance of the DMZ .
This tour is a very long all day tour but is worth it in my opinion due to personal interest both my husband and I have in the history of Vietnam
This experience was definitely enhanced by our awesome driver Tom & tour guide Min .

This is an excellent tour. My guide was Mr Thanh, who answered all of the questions I was curious about - he has great knowledge and is very easy to talk to. This is a must see for those interested in 20th c. history, and I really recommend doing the full day tour because every site on this itinerary was definitely worth a visit. Mr Thanh was also really helpful in general - he gave me detailed recommendations about other things to see and do in Hue as well as Da Nang and Hoi An. 5/5 experience

Started the day not knowing it was a private tour. Our driver Mr Trung was amazing and due to the wet weather felt safe the whole time while he was driving. We then picked up our tour guide Ms Hai ,then on to Khe Sanh. Hai was an incredible tour guide and knew what she was talking about. We could ask her any questions. As it was only myself and my partner we had all of the site visits to ourselves with our own guide. This tour is a must if you’re interested in 20th century history. It’s worth the money

Excellent day trip, highly recommend, our driver Mr Jrung was very professional and arrived on time for pickup at 8AM from our hotel. He gave some interesting insites into some of the landmarks as we headed out of Hue to pickup our tour guide. Ms Hai our tour guide had 27 year’s experience in her field and it showed. Her knowledge of the sites we visited was outstanding and made our day even more special.

My partner and I did the DMZ tour from Hue which also visited the Vinh Moc tunnels and Khe Sanh Combat Base. Our driver Mr Trung picked us up on time from our hotel lobby in a very comfortable and air conditioned car. He was so kind and friendly and had great conversation. Mr Trung is a true gentleman and has been the best driver we have had so far on our Vietnam holiday. He was also very knowledgeable on history and was happy to answer all our questions about Vietnamese people/culture. Our tour guide Ms Thach appears to be the best in the business and many former Vietnam War veterans come back to visit Khe Sanh with her. It is a long day (10 hours in total) but we were given lots of breaks for drinks/food and bathroom stops. The Vinh Moc tunnels are fantastic and would be the highlight of our vietnam trip so far. Having local inside knowledge is priceless. Would definitely recommend this tour to other travellers interested in the American War.

I highly recommend this tour especially for the history buffs. The driver Mr. Trung was very polite, right on time, and very accommodating. The tour guide Ms. Thach was excellent in her knowledge of the Vietnam War with the USA. It is very important to me as an ex-serviceman from the USA to understand how it also affected the local Vietnamese population as well. If your in Hue, do not miss this tour from these two guides.

This is a full day tour and you'll spend a long time in the car travelling, but it's worth it.
Our driver Sam and guide Hai were amazing. Very good English, informative and friendly.
The combat Base has about 5 old American aircraft and they have rebuilt the trenches and bunkers for you to explore. There is a small museum building with photos and exhibits. Was a little disappointed at the size of the place as was expecting a little more.
The tunnels were amazing. Really enjoyed exploring them and getting a feeling of what it must have been like to have had to shelter in them for sometimes days.
A few stops for photo opportunities along the way at key points.
Would recommend

Our driver Sam was great, gave some insight to family Vietnamese life, made the driving lots of fun. Our DMZ guide Tam, enriched our tour with his own personal experiences during the Vietnam war as being been brought up in a village near the DMZ. Being at these historical sites you get a sense of the war from both sides. Great experience well worth the tour.

This tour was fantastic. Mr Trung, our driver for the day, picked us up at 7:30 (he was actually early) drove us out to meet with the local expert, Ms Thach, and onto our first stop, the Rockpile. We then had a walk through a small local visit and bought some yummy banana pancakes. We then went on to the Khe Sanh combat zone and museum where we saw a number of helicopters, tanks and pictures from the Tet offensive. Our next stop was the border of the North and South, where we walked over from one side of the bridge to the other. Our final stop was the tunnels. Ms Thach then guided us through these tunnels from level 1 all the way to level 3. It was great fun.

Hello,
We would like to do the DMZ tour tomorrow with Mr Vinh.
We are 4 adults and 3 children (12, 4 and 2).
Do you have suitable van for all of us?
Since this is a big group, what would be the total packaged price for this tour?
Thank You
