Bad cruise service. They’re paid to walk around. Cruise will charge you for water bottle and then make you refill it yourself.

Very old ship in bad conditions e. g. some stairs broken, missing parts of furniture. Cabins are dirty. The tour gide did not know the travel itinerary and was not engaged. Other crew members were very friendly. Food ok, for us too much western. We cannot recommend the trip. They sell as 4 star, reality is one to 2 stars. Ship was Le Journey Premium.

Kevin and his team were great! Helped organize our family trip to Hanoi and even recommended places to go and restaurants to eat at. He helped make our planning easy and smooth.

The room was nice. The common areas good. Service good. Drinks expensive. Kayak trip to beach was nice. The evening entertainment was ok. It was a little cold in the evening so couldn’t enjoy drinks outside before dinner but was fine inside. Overall a good tour but expensive.

I’m so glad I decided to keep researching tour options until I found this. I was close to booking the standard offering but decided to go with this at the last minute, and it was the greatest decision. We were able to take a route without tourists due to the boat speed and size, and the places we stopped are only available for private boats or overnight tours. It was peaceful and quiet, not to mention the meal we were served exceeded all expectations, it was Michelin quality. We saw others hopping on the group boats, many didn’t have bathrooms and only had bench seating. Meanwhile we had a boat to ourselves with a private cabin/bathroom, a covered dining area and all the comforts you’d hope for. Certainly recommend this experience.

Authentic Hanoi Travel made our Ha Long Bay trip absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we reached out to them, everything was smooth and stress-free. Kevin was a superstar—seriously, he went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Whether it was sorting out our ride on a super comfy limousine bus or getting us an incredible room on the Aqua Elegance cruise, Kevin handled it all like a pro. He even checked in with us throughout the trip to make sure everything was going great. The cruise itself was a highlight. Aqua Elegance served up some of the best food we’ve ever had—every meal was a treat. The staff, especially Daniel and Andy, were fantastic. They were so friendly and knew so much about Ha Long Bay, which made the whole experience even more special. Ha Long Bay is breathtaking. Those limestone formations and peaceful waters are something you have to see to believe. We also got to meet some really cool people on the cruise, which added even more fun to the trip. What really stood out, though, was how patient and accommodating the team was. Kevin made sure we felt taken care of and didn’t leave a single question unanswered. Thanks to him and his crew, this trip was everything we hoped for and more. There are tons of companies offering trips to Ha Long Bay, and we contacted four or five before booking. What made the difference for us was communication. While most companies either took ages to reply or left us hanging, Authentic Hanoi Travel kept us in the loop the entire time. It made the whole process so much smoother, and honestly, that’s why we chose them—and we’re so glad we did.

The boat was the most disappointing part of our holiday , you had too pay for tea and coffee and bottled water ,they supplied 2 bottles of water in room, meals were not that great ,vegetables cold . That they had filled them selves ,after being told only to drink sealed bottled water while in Vietnam. . The room we were in ,you could hear the generator all night which you could put up with ,but the smell of oil was unpleasant felt like I was sleeping in a garage . Then at night hearing rats running across ceiling wasn’t pleasant . Spoke with other travellers they also heard rats Was supposed to have tai chia lesson in early mornng , but instructor was not available . This boat was a disgrace and would only be good for D grade backpackers

It was a very well organized trip. The staff was very friendly. They did a great kob. The buffet was delicious. Everything fresh and a lot of options. Transfer was very comfortable.

The boat was nice, the room was lovely. The staff were friendly. The excursions were very busy and the food was objectively bad. With some better food this could be a top notch experience.

Let me start by saying Elite of the Seas is undoubtedly the Elite cruise of Halong Bay indeed. From the transfer from our hotel till checkout we were taken care of with undivided attention. The facilities and activities in the cruise were top notch. The food served was high quality and delicious. We stayed at the Executive suite and the experience was worth every penny. The main highlight of our experience was our Butler Quý (Alex). There are not enough stars in this review to rate him. He gave us his undivided attention and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He went above and beyond each and every time. I could tell he was not doing this because it is his job but is coming from his heart and has a lot of passion and truth to it. The cruise manager David was also really helpful. He was checking in on us regularly to make sure everything is ok. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone without blinking an eye. Looking to forward to comeback one day and do a longer trip in this cruise. 10/10 perfection ❤️

From pick-up to drop-off at the hotel, it was a beautiful experience. The English guide, Mr Tim smart and handsome Cruise Manager, was an amazing host, and his co-workers provided knowledge about the places and helped click photos and make videos. It is a fun environment, relaxing, and good for vacation. It would have not been an amazing experience without Mr Tim Cruise Manager.

Our recent cruise experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we discovered that our room—which was supposed to be the nicest on the ship—was in unacceptable condition. The room had leaks, a broken window covered with a metal plate, a damaged door, and plumbing issues in the bathroom sink. The staff explained that they knew the room wasn’t up to standard but allowed the agency to book it anyway due to high season. To address the leaks, the staff’s only solution was to place a plastic bottle on the ceiling and a towel on the floor. The other problems couldn’t be solved. To make matters worse, at night we saw many rats going in and out of the kitchen, as well as cockroaches in various areas. When we spoke to the staff about the rat problem, they told us it was “normal” and that they typically kill an average of 3-4 rats per day. Save to say I didn’t have breakfast or lunch next day. We had planned to stay for two nights, but we chose to leave the following day due to the poor conditions. Despite our early departure, we were offered a partial refund of less than 40% of the total amount for the unused night. The staff offered us one free drink asking in exchange not to leave a bad review. Wouldn’t come back. Wouldn’t recommend.
