Vietravel's expert guide will pick you up in the city center with a chauffeured private car to the Cu Chi Tunnels - an astounding 155-mile underground network of narrow pathways, living quarters, and makeshift hospitals. Here, you may experience claustrophobic passages with a 10-13 foot thick ceiling capable of supporting tanks and bomb blasts, allowing one to navigate through narrow passages. Then, a film screening will immerse you further into the wartime experience before you explore ingenious trap doors and gigantic bomb craters left over from the conflict. Especially, savor a dish that once sustained Vietnamese soldiers during hunger – cassava dipped in peanut salt. After that, prepare for guerilla warfare in jungles with an M-16, AK-47, or carbine rifle at a national defense shooting range, with optional activity. For lunch, you will have the option to dine at a local restaurant in either Cu Chi or the center of HCMC before the end of Vietravel’s Cu Chi Tunnels Day Trip.

Tour guides? More like personal scammers
Was promised a tour with english speaking guides, tour was 95% in Vietnamese. Tour guides were constantly pushing for “upgrades” to already pre priced package. It was clear they were making personal gain off of selling these “upgrades”. At one point in the tour we were brought to a mattress store, selling “luxury latex mattresses”. These were over priced by hundreds of dollars and was clearly just a tourist trap as they try to sell you on the “high quality of the latex”. I was here to see the beautiful country of Thailand, not be brought to a tourist trap over priced mattress store. Disgusting business practices

        rude check in counter
I am frequent flyer, It's my first time flying with Vietravel Airlines, they delayed flights, and even the check- in counter questioned my capacity to travel, they almost hold me at the airport, telling me I don't enough money to travel, when show to them my visa card and amount in my bank account they shut up, very rude customer service, never again

        Best trip ever!!!
The tour guide was amazing. She was very accommodating in all aspects of the tour from providing knowledge, best practice around customs in certain areas, answering any questions or concerns we had and ensuring we all had a fun and memorable trip.

Great Way to Explore Hanoi in One Day
I didn’t expect this tour to hit me so hard emotionally. Visiting all the highlights and hearing about the culture was truly amazing. Our guide - Tam had such a deep knowledge of the history, but also a genuine passion that brought everything to life. We learned so much about Vietnam’s history and culture. The small group size also made the tour feel very personalized. A must-do for anyone visiting Hanoi for the first time!

        Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan tours.
All these tours were bought and booked in Viet Nam. Advantage: If you want to go at many places and eat a lot of food for free. Then this would be the best Disadvantage: You would be on bus and eating at 75% and 25% at each visiting location. Why did I say this? They would give you between 30-45 mins at each location where you have around 15 mins for taking pictures, the rest is walk to and return to the bus. What is the pint just going there to take pictures? You can get it from google. There are few places that you would like to spend at least 2 hours to enjoy the view and nature. Let say instead of 5-8 places a day, I would say 3-4 is enough so you have more times to visit. Local tour guys: they're excellent, seem like they have been brainwash that they know exactly of what to say. I did enjoy the local tour guys from Japan and Taiwan, they only talked and gave detail of the visiting locations. They didn't talk more than what it doesn't need. Thailand tour guy was the most terrible one that I have encountered. The guy named Yah or something, he was born in Viet Nam but lives in Thailand where he is consider his primary home. He talked too much and lectured buddhism where my family was annoyed too much even we have buddhist background. If you have different religion, I don't recommend at all. It's totally bizarre. In respect to other tourists on the bus, I didn't tell him to shut up. Airplane for all these tours: I am not sure why but my group's seat were always at the end. It could be we checked in late or it was already plans by agency. That's pathetic. Sharing meal at lunch and dinner: It's best you have 10 people in family so you can get your own table. if you have 4 or less, you would end up to share table with others. It's the worst that I have ever seen. By the time I raised the chopstick, someone already turned 1/4 of the table, and when I got something other one turned the table 1/2. It seem they fight for food and these are people over 50 year old. Young Viet people are well behave. Sitting next to smoking guys and nose picking at eating table were really nasty. There were spoons on each dish but they kept using their own chopstick to get food. Taiwan tour was 33 people so instead they ordered 4 tables, they got only 3 and not enough food for 11 people. I don't mind 11 on each table but at least they need to order more dishes for everyone. There was couple odd times that they took you to dinner before night food market where you were full of stomach that you couldn't eat any more. Japan meal were mostly separate for each person so it was great. Hotels and restroom: Japan was the best. Even in public places, 95% you would see the toilets are pretty clean. Thailand public restroom for men are outside....lol...fresh air for pee I guess. Taiwan restroom was kinda dirty. So far Japan is the best. Would I do tour again? Absolutely "NO", this is in my personal experience so it's up to you to decide. I have shared all that I have encountered. If you're from US and kind of type like 4 stars hotel, then this is not for you.

Garbage experience, avoid at all costs
We had a family of 15-19 people book the service for a tour to Singapore and Vietnam. Cost us $980 usd each. 1. They are horrible at procuring visa for travels 2. They almost got us killed in a fire hotel with no compensation and just shrugged it off 3. They cheap out and get you big filled, blood stained, poop stained hotels 4....list goes on We are now checking for damages to lungs as they told us to chill with smoked filled hotel with emergency exits locked to sort out the issue instead of proper evacuation 5. They plan awfully. And the tour seems all over the place

Unprofessional customer service and tour guidance
I would rate 0 if possible. The customer service is terrible. We booked the tour in Vietnam and tried to get support for visa in the US. Because they cannot make sell, they are not willing to support. They refused to provide the supporting documents which led to the difficulty in processing visa. They provide the incorrect information before booking tour. The customer service never provide the name. Don’t recommend this tour at all.

The best service I've ever received
I booked a tour for my whole family on Tet holidays. Due to some emergency, we wouldn't be able to go on the tour on the expected days. It was all beyond our control and was out of their responsibilities, also. But luckily, the company (especially Ms.Hien and her manager) supported us with all their best. We were finally able to take part in another tour and did have a very great time with Ms.Truc, our tour guide, who was very friendly and caring. The local tour guides in Melkong Delta are also amazing. They presented us with a lot of information about the culture there. And the greatest thing, I have to say, is the meals they offer. All are abundant and have a great taste of the local food. My dad even gained some weight after the trip LOL. To be honest, I didn't use to travel on a guided tour. But from this experience, I know for sure that the next time I travel, Vietravel will be my choice.

Visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels was a powerful experience. Learning about the history and seeing the tunnels firsthand was both fascinating and humbling. Our guide was so knowledgeable and made the experience truly unforgettable. Lunch is also amazing!!!
