An awesome experience made even better thanks to our guide Daisy. Getting to be amongst the history and culture specific to the floating markets was eye opening and exciting. Floating along, and pulling up to another small boat for a delicious fresh hot breakfast prepared right there, I was giddy. Taking in the sights, and being welcomed onto a lovely family's boat for tea and fresh fruit, what an honour. Just that alone would've been enough for us, but we got to follow up with visiting the local rice noodle business, and dabbled in making rice noodles. The staff make the experience fun, we laughed a lot. The cacao farm was awe inspiring seeing the techniques and tools they use to process their cacao beans into cocoa and other cocoa products. The whole experience was made that much better with a guide who seems to adore her country, and love to share her knowledge. We enjoyed our time so much we had to keep the day going and carried on to the natural reserve in Can Tho. So glad we didn't let the early morning wake up deter us.

Great floating market tour. Our wonderful tour guide, Edward and boat operator whose name translates to “water” were great. Edward’s incredible personality, perfect English, great sense of humour and intimate knowledge of the market, canals, boats and people on the river made it a truly unforgettable morning in Vietnam.

Such an amazing time. We learnt so much and saw so many things. Edward was so friendly and accommodating! Just felt like we were hanging out with a friend. We enjoyed our morning and it was such an amazing start of our trip. 100% recommend this tour with Edward as your guide :)

This is a hidden but really nice place in Mekong! Just spend a short time here, but that make me love this peaceful and beautiful place. I would recommend for my friends.

The tour guide and boat driver were very kind and takes care of us. The food at the floating market was absolutely delicious as well! They also have a great extra recommendation for visiting if you’re able to return their kindness.

The 5 star rating is 100% due to our guide Lang. This young and enthusiastic guy really does his utmost to make the trip worthwhile. Thank you Lang and all the succes in your life! The trip itself was disappointing though. We had to get up very early but instead of looking at a busy market we mainly looked at other tourists. The nature is ok but there is litter everywhere. This will not be better with other tours. On the contrary, we were lucky to have a very small group.

it was a beautiful and relaxing tour. We had a great time and our tour guide Edward was very knowledgable. It is a perfect choice when you have limited amount of time but want to learn about the local life among the Mekong delta and the floting market.

We had a wonderful 2 day trip on the Mekong delta. Kin, our guide, was incredibly kind, fun and knowledgeable. In only two days we visited, brick, coconut candy, chocolate and noodle factories, we cycled along leafy pathways, cooked Vietnamese pancakes and visited the amazing floating market at dawn.highly recommended !

We enjoyed the tour a lot. The guide showed us around as described. To enter the small canals was a relaxing experience. And the taste of the cocoa is delicious.

Very enjoyable morning with my guide Lâm, extremely friendly and informative. We started out at 5:30 am, which is definitely the thing to do. The itinerary was fairly standard (noodle breakfast at the floating market, visit a home on a boat, visit a noodle factory, visit the chocolate factory––but the conversations about the region and the country made it very special. Also, Lâm has invested a good deal of energy in mastering the various stages of the tour which impressed me. I read of many of these tours and saw quite a few while we were on our, but I feel very fortunate to have chosen Fabulous Mekong Eco Tours and to have had Lâm as my guide. Highly recommended!

I had an extraordinary afternoon with my guide Thi, who is well educated and speaks excellent English, full of stories and information which I found special even after weeks of travel through Vietnam. The drive from Can Tho is 40 mins and this afforded opportunity for conversation. In addition to the boat into the canals of the nature reserve (for a gorgeous opportunity to see a hidden gem in the Mekong Delta) we also climbed a viewpoint tower, visited a rice field, observed hundreds of ducks being herded, enjoyed fresh coconut and banana chips. The time was both restful and stimulating--and completely void of tourists and the clog of boats found elsewhere. A highlight of my time in the country––highly recommended.
