Organised this cruise through a booking agent called Best Price Travel who included the hotel pick up transfer from Hanoi's old Quarter and a Hanoi street food walking tour. Janet was our booking agent and she was very lovely being quick and responsive and very understanding. We got picked up early at 8am and took a quick stop at a souvenir/ cafe then ended up on the Bay and after a short wait in the comfy air conditioned waiting lounge, we took a smaller boat to the Mon Cherie Liner 1 which goes to Lan Ha bay a more secluded cruise experience area. We were greeted with cold fresh juice, lots of friendly smiles and falling rose petals and had a nice variety for the lunch buffet. Our room was very clean with breathtaking views of the natural Harbour. They even setup a nice welcome spread in the room for my girlfriends birthday. The seafood is as fresh as it can get and they do take your dietary needs into consideration before each meal so they can cater to the individual needs. The activities are always supervised and our cruise manager Cherry provided both a thourough English and Vietnamese explanation beforehand and answered all of our questions, She is very knowledgeable and super friendly. All the Cruise staff will offer to take your photos and trust them they know all the spots and angles which turned out to be great pics. Our cooking lesson, happy hour, First class Dinner and squid fishing were really fun (even though we weren't able to catch any) and both the booking agent and cruise staff organised a cute celebration for my girlfriends birthday that dinner. Our main waiter Gohan was super attentive and efficient knowing lots about the onboard wine selection. Checking out was a breeze and I only wish we could have spent an extra day and night on board. Had a great time with zero problems. Highly recommend and will definitely convince my family and friends to go on this cruise and would love to go back again in a few years time

Did the Halong Bay cruise with a couple friends, everything went smoothly and the itinerary of our 2D1N adventure went smoothly. It wasn't too packed and there was down time as well for relaxing. Tour: THE BEST OF SAPA 3 DAYS Mia, our travel agent from bestPrice, was quick to respond via email and WhatsApp, and she efficiently arranged our hotel, and our pick-up and drop-off from Lao Cai Station / Hotel in Sapa Town as well. Our guide, Lu, was informative and made the tour engaging with interesting trivia about the villages, the plants they grow, and about the waterfalls. Leaving Sapa, they advised us to depart early due to potential traffic from landslides, especially in rainy weather. Our driver picked us up at 5:30 PM for our 8:40 PM Sleeper Train. He dropped us at a nearby restaurant, where we could relax until boarding time, which I found really thoughtful and helpful!! The tour involved more walking and trekking than I expected, but I enjoyed the interaction with locals and the fresh, cold air of Sapa. ---- It'sa a bit sad that due to the rainy weather, we could not visit Fansipan. But overall, I still enjoyed the whole trip! Because I'm not really into trekking, I think a 2 day tour package woulld be enough for me too. If you're going around August, make sure to bring a raincoat and water proof, anti-slip trekking shoes!

The crew were fantastic, the organized outings well prepared, with good staff and good experiences. The food was beautiful and Ja Long Bay was an experience we will never forget.
