Hai was the best tour guide - his English was impeccable and he was super knowledgeable and showed us so much local life. We never would have seen as much of the Mekong Delta on our own. We packed a lot into three days and really felt we traversed the region, experiencing the cultural uniqueness and traditions of the region. Our guide was so accommodating and made everything so smooth and easy. Our ten year old really enjoyed it too - it was the right level of adventurous for everyone. The private experience was really worth it and the itinerary was so well thought out. I would recommend this to anyone - definitely the highlight of our trip. Thanks Hai!

Our (myself and my two children 13 and 11) tour was amazing! My father served in Vietnam and it was so special to see where he was based. Our guide Huong even located where his camp would have been in Nui Dat. She stop the car happily every time I wanted to take a photo and her knowledge was extensive. Our lunch was in a beautiful location in vung tau and was delicious. I highly recommend doing this tour, especially if you have a connection to the Vietnam/American war. Please note that there isn’t a lot of evidence that Australia was there so a guide is essential. And the hills that were significant to the Australians and New Zealanders are now quarries so will not be there in ten years time. Grateful to have visited now. X

We had the most incredible experience on a tour with Tan in Ho Chi Minh City! From the moment we met him, his warmth and passion for sharing the culture and history of this vibrant city shone through. Tan’s deep knowledge combined with his engaging storytelling made every stop on the tour memorable.

I only had 14 hours in Ho Chi Minh City as a solo female traveler between 2 overnight flights and I cannot say enough good things about this tour. All communication ahead of time was clear and easy and Mr Tan, my tour guide, was delightful! He and the driver took care of everything from pickup, lots of cold water, luggage and drop off. I loved seeing the local markets and areas as well as going for Vietnamese coffee and lunch! They took me to all of the tourist spots as well and arranged entry to everything. But my favorite was definitely the local side and feeling like I made a new Vietnamese friend. Thanks for you taking such good care of me, Tan!

Nam is an excellent guide who is passionate about telling the stories of the Long Tan Battle between the Australian and Vietnam military, the Nui Dat Australian base and the fascinating tactics of both sides as they endeavoured to get the upper hand. Importantly, Nam brings the historical events alive with firsthand stories from Vietnam Veterans and their families. Nam arrived early to our hotel and explained the day’s itinerary. We travelled in a very comfortable vehicle with good aircon. After Long Tan we had a delicious lunch at a Vung Tau restaurant with beautiful views of the beach. Our host pampered us with cold water, plenty of bathroom stops snd took photos of us together. We highly recommend this tour and our guide Nam and very competent driver.

One of the most uplifting tours i've ever been on, our tour guide Chris being an ex vet gave insight into the war and conditions that you couldn't imagine. Highly recommend anyone visiting Vietnam to do this tour.

This was the perfect tour, seamlessly organised by the Maika group and everything ran smoothly. Our guide Tien was knowledgeable and highly engaging, we were very well cared for and comfortable the entire time. Tour activities and planned outings were exactly as described and exceeded our expectations, this tour was truly private also making it a very unique experience and highly worth paying for. Would recommend this to any travellers wishing to do a short trip the Mekong that includes all the main sites without having to rush.

Great full day trip to all the major sights in Saigon. The guide Lang picked me up at my hotel at agreed time and the tour began. Saw a lot of interesting places including places without tourists. So nice to be with a private guide. Temples, marketplaces, museums and a great lunch. Thanks to both my driver and guide. You made this trip great. A lot of information about your country - past and present. Can highly recommend this trip to all who want to get deep insight in Vietnam. And do try the Salt Coffee.

Our day long tour of Ho Chi Minh City was a terrific experience. Our guide (Nam) and our driver met us in the hotel lobby as agreed upon. The vehicle was a very comfortable Mitsubishi van with ample room. They had cold water and wet wipes as well. The tour took us down local alleyways where we saw the flower market, local food sellers, etc. We went to many many sites of historical relevance; too many to list here. Lunch was multi course and very good quality. All entry fees, coffees, and lunch were included in the price of the tour. After all of this they returned us to our hotel. I highly recommend this tour.
