Our guides Henry and Jayden‘s enthusiasm quickly turned my tired colleagues into believers that this would be a fun, cultural team building evening. The lads picked us up from the hotel in a taxi and entertained us with titbits of information all the way to District 7. We lost count of the number of food stops. There was the mini-cooking class place. Another was down a pretty side street where we were shown the proper way to construct our own spring rolls. There was a fruit stall where we tried fresh, local fruit. There was banana-peanut-coconut ice cream. The final stop was bánh mì with a twist. I’m sure I’m missing one or two. In between eating we walked the streets mingling with the locals. True to word, not another tourist in sight. Don’t worry about going hungry. We all waddled back to our rooms once the lads dropped us off. Recommend you don’t eat for a day before you do this tour.

I have just finished the private walking tour with Lucie and had a wonderful time! I was a bit anxious with it just being me and one person but within 5 minutes, Lucie made me feel relaxed and we got along so well. The whole tour was such a great experience! We took a taxi to District 7 right in the heart of proper Vietnamese culture (basically I was the only tourist to be seen). We stopped at 5 places and by the end I was stuffed but extremely satisfied. I learned a lot about the foods but also they were extremely tasty! Lucie made the whole night extra special with her charm and knowledge. It’s made me want to use AN Tours for my next trip in a few days. I also like the fact I can pay online and not cash! Very impressed and would recommend to all.

As described, it was very special not only for diverse foods, but also places without tourists. It might not be easy to find those local restaurants and foods by ourselves. And, our friendly tour guides were very professional and nice to introduce new foods and make the entire tour happy. There was no problem at all in English conversation with two tour guide gentlemen.

I took this tour on the last night of my 10 days in Vietnam, and it was definitely a highlight! The tour guide Jackie arrived promptly on time at my hotel. We took a Grab (similar to Uber) to the start of the food tour as it was quite a distance from my hotel. We walked to 5 different locations for food and drink, all of which were delicious. The night of my tour there was an important national team soccer game so the streets were packed with people in bars, eateries and stores watching the game. The best part of the tour was not seeing any other tourists! Highly recommend this tour!

Lucie was an outstanding tour guide as she led us through the streets of Saigon. Her cheerful manner, knowledge of the food and great ability to navigate the streets made her the perfect guide for the evening tour! I would highly recommend asking for Lucie as she was the very best!
