About the operator

- Voyage053001314540 contributionsDevin is a FANTASTIC tour guide!!5/5 What a wonderful guide Devin was! He was extremely kind and courteous and I felt completely safe - at first I was worried about the scooter ride, but he reassured me and was very careful on the roads. Devin had great conversation and was great company, especially where I was travelling by myself. If I could score him higher I would! He is a real gem and an asset to your company :) Thanks so much Devin, hope to see you in New Zealand some day :)Written February 6, 2025

- Jen-jer750 contributionsThey save the day!I previously booked this tour in advance via another app. The company that I booked with was a no show…. I could not reach them. I was waiting at 7 AM and was about to give up. The concierge at my hotel saw something was wrong and hesitantly, I explained to him my situation. To my surprise….35 minutes later I was on my way with this great company! My guide was HUONG. She was great, very patient, explained so many things to me, made sure I was comfortable and assured me that all was not lost! Thanks so much HUONG! ChuChi Tunnels and Mekong Delta. She also gave me recommendations on things to do in Saigon as you knew I had half a day left before my flight home.Written January 18, 2025

- katebT6768RR0 contributionsExcellent with terrific guide and private driver.Fantastic! We only had a day so decided to go with a private tour. Private was definitely the way to go. We had a brilliant articulate tour guide with great English who picked us up with the driver from the hotel. The driver was also very good and safe which was important to us give the busy roads. Our tour guide Johnny Pham was excellent, he knew where the big tour buses were going to be and avoided them taking us to the sights at times when it was much quieter. We were very happy we chose this private option. It was a big day and we saw so much and the kids enjoyed it. The lunch was also VERY good. Would reccommend this option to anyone.Written January 14, 2025

- 647aditip0 contributionsGo for itMy parents and I went on a private tour to Trang An and Ninh Bin and Hoa Lu. Our private tour guide was Emma. She was AMAZING! Both my parents are senior citizens. She was extremely mindful of that and arranged to assist us in a way that made us feel very well taken care of. Fun story: my dad’s shoe got ripped off midway. Emma took it upon herself to arrange a guy to fix my dad’s shoe, and even went with him to get a new pair of shoes. Our trip to Ninh Binh was memorable for the natural beauty. But it was made unforgettable by Emma and her warm hospitality.Written January 11, 2025

I arrived at HCMC on a clean slate without researching which travel agency is good. I simply booked the Cu Chi Tunnel day trip at my hotel front desk and oh my, am I delighted that the travel agency was VN Bike tour company.
I was picked up at my hotel in District 1 punctually in a clean aircon mini-bus with only 6 other guests with 1 bottled water included. The guide for the day, Xuyen was delightful in her fluent English in guiding us through the day. Some interaction on the bus, a quick insight into the Vietnamese language's most popular phrase "Cam on" as we proceed to our destination.
After a rest stop at a lacquerware factory for a rest stop, we arrived at the Cu Chi Tunnel in good time. Xuyen did a fine job of showing us the destination in and out, the horrors of the traps, and the eventual tunnel walk (rather like a duck walk).
Visitors have the option of shooting various firearms at the firing range, like AK47s, M16S, and handguns. 1 magazine of 30 rounds for the AK47 will set you about 1.8mil VND (S$104). If too pricey, try the handgun as it's cheaper. The trip ends with a plate of boiled tapioca, prepared the way during the war, with pandan tea on the side. This trip excludes lunch.
Overall a nice 1/2 day trip to kick start any visit to the vibrant city of HCM. Do book with VN Bike Tour, they have also other interesting trips like the local food tours as well as the Mekong Delta trip.
Have a great trip to HCMC :)

Our visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our incredible guide, Huong. From the moment we met her, it was clear she was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about sharing the fascinating history of this site. Huong brought the stories of the tunnels to life with her engaging storytelling, offering both historical context and personal insights that added so much depth to the experience.
Her ability to balance the somber history of the site with moments of humor and warmth was truly remarkable.
Huong’s enthusiasm and professionalism made this tour stand out as one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. Her dedication to sharing the story of the Cu Chi Tunnels left a lasting impression on all of us. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend requesting Huong as your guide—you won’t be disappointed!
Thank you, Huong, for making this experience so memorable.

Great guide and experience!
Note that similar Handicapped Handicraft artwork can be found for less at the Cu Chi Tunnels for less. However it is reported that the quality is different, and is from a different manufacturer.

Hi, My partner and I booked a last min tour from the Signature By M hotel in Ho Chin Minh city. The tour guide confirmed it immediately and next morning picked us from the hotel.
Xuyen (beautiful flower) gave us details about the tour in the car and guided us, took photographs, shared her wifi and helped me with my sim card issues. We were given water bottles and quick pitstop for breakfast and toilets. Xuyen also booked us a cab to get to the airport as we had flight to catch. Thanks for the beautiful memory Xuyen and Hero (tour guide and bus driver). We enjoyed and are mesmerised with the hospitality.

A last minute booking via the hotel. They were prompt arriving with a comfortable vehicle and great driver. The experience of the Cu Chi tunnels was terrific, although we did feel rushed for a private tour and felt we missed out on taking photos at our leisure. The tour included an obligatory stop at a factory and shop which was expensive and we felt a little pressured to make a purchase. The guide was informative and very chatty!

We took the half day tour to Cu Chi tunnel with Linda and had a great time. She is very knowledgeable and explained us the history of tunnels with all details. She told us many interesting about the war and how the tunnels played important role.
The car picked us from the hotel and dropped us back at hotel. While going towards Cu Chi tunnel, we stopped at a point to see the egg shell paintings. Since we had a baby with us, Linda ensured we are comfortable through out the trip.
I would highly recommend people to go and experience the Cu Chi Tunnels with VN Tour.

We had a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Kim Khoa kept us entertained and provided insights into the history of the Cu Chi tunnels within the backdrop of the Vietnam War. On Khoa's recommendation, we stopped at one of the best Banh Mi street vendors (Bui Thi Xuan) and enjoyed the local street cuisine.

Seeing Cu Chi tunnels was always something I wanted to do and was so interesting. What made it special was our tour guide, Mr. Thang - he made it an education - a Vietnam history lesson that I hope I retain. So much information and he serves it up in an highly informative but witty and humorous way. Highly recommended tour!
