One of the best experiences my family of 22 people and I experienced. Payed attention to my family’s needs during the entire two week trip. Hien and his partner (don’t know how to spell his name in Vietnamese) was great guides and I will definitely request both gentlemen on my next trip to Vietnam. Very knowledgeable with every location. Both gentlemen made sure to cater us to all the beautiful sites during the day and took us to the prime locations to enjoy the night life. They both informed us on the do’s and don’t in Vietnam while keeping the entire family safe. Getting taken advantage of because we are tourists was something Vietnam Guiding made sure didn’t happen.

We had a one day tour of the Mekong Delta and it was fantastic. Our tour guide was full of information of the area and our driver was great in navigating the often treacherous Vietnam traffic. I had expected a tour on a boat floating down the Mekong River but it was much more. We had an walk through a great local market with people so amazingly kind and friendly. It was great fun riding on a scooter through the rice fields and learning about the processing of rice. OMG, so much work to grow and produce the rice we eat with little compensation to the farmers. We visited a local house for refreshments and some snake wine (optional) with, as I later learned, was THE Mr. Hien Huynh with whom I had been emailing. He was so full of interesting and delightful insights into Vietnam and so hospitable. I would have liked to thank him personally for being so responsive to my all of my questions. Although my friend and I had some dietary restrictions, we still had a delicious lunch at a restaurant overlooking the hauntingly beautiful Mekong delta. I will never forget the sight of the vast and rather barren mud flats of the delta. Truly a great wonder of the world albeit not flashy. Definitely a great tour service provider.

We had the pleasure of Mr Tam as guide and Mr Tan as driver on our 1 day Authentic Mekong Delta trip. Mr Tam was engaging, spoke very good English and very knowledgeable about life on the delta. We saw a wide variety of places but the highlight was undoubtably the visit to the former soldier’s house. We took a trip on a scooter round the rice fields, visited a rice processing factory and learned a lot about how the local people lived and worked. Back at the house, we tried a few different rice wines. Wow they were good. For lunch we stopped at a restaurant and enjoyed fresh clams and the biggest tiger prawns Ive ever eaten. Truly delicious. After lunch we had a trip on the river on our own private boat and sampan. Again Mr Tam’s knowledge of the area came to the fore. A great experience and a great company to do business with. Highly recommended.

Where do I start. I’ve been on guided tours with Hien in my previous visits to Vietnam. Hien know this country very well and has plenty of information to give you. We did the Meekong overnight homestay trip which I highly recommend. He also took us to Dakar as well. Hien has a great business because he is the best at it. You pay a bit more but the experiences he gives you are amazing. Nothing is too hard for him and certainly goes out of his way to make sure everyone is looked after. When you go on a tour with him you don’t have to pay for anything else. The food we had while with him was the best but the goats balls rice wine wasn’t my favourite hahaha Hien looked after my mother on the trip so well, she is 77 years old so there was a few things we had to modify, again no trouble for Hien. I do have to also say Mr Tung, his driver is exceptional and always felt safe. He is such a nice man as well. Another person who looked after us very well. Hien is now a friend for life. I love him like a brother and will continue to use him for any trips I do to Vietnam. Can’t wait to return. I don’t have any hesitation in recommending Hien to show you not only the Mekong but anywhere in Vietnam.

We did an 8-day tour of Phu Quoc , Hà Tiên, Châu đốc, Cần Thơ, Mỹ tho and back to Saigon. We asked Hiển Huynh to plan this tour for us and were so glad we did. Hiển took care of everything from A-Z, picked us up at the hotel to start the trip and dropped us back at the hotel at the end of the trip. All the hotels & resorts Hiển picked for us to stay at during this amazing trip are fantastic ..,.even the tour bus is "5-star" with wi-fi and Hiên always made sure there are ice cold drinks and tropical fruits (our favorites are mangostene or măng cụt) in the bus all the time during our tours of all these wonderful places (miền Tây Nam bộ) ..We all had such a good time , and a safe trip (the bus driver who Hiẻn picked ís also the most experienced and the best driver) ...we would strongly recommend Hiển for any tours in VN especially the Mekong Delta of VN...he is more than just a tour guide..he took care of us as part of the family and that is what made us feel so good and happy , worry-free when going on these tours.

We did the 2d1n Mekong Delta Trip with realmekongdeltatours/Vietnam guiding and had a very friendly email communication with Hien Huynh. Our guide for the trip was Quang, whom I can highly recommend as he was very friendly, had a big knowledge of everything we visited and completely adapted to our wishes for the tour. When we wanted to skip lunch on the second day because we had eaten so much breakfast, he and Hien Huynh even gave as a refund for that although we had not asked for it. On the trip, we barely saw other tourists but got to reall see the daily life of the people in the Mekong Delta. The best parts were the boat trips, but everything else was wisely chosen, too. We are really happy with the tour and glad that we did it and it went so well. There are no shopping stops on the tour, unless you ask for it, so you don’t lose any time with things you don’t want. All in all, i highly recommend this trip!

We absolutely loved this tour. We didn’t have much time so we just did the Mekong Delta tour only, I’m sure the tunnels would be just as great and informative. Our guide, Nguyen, picked us up at 7:30am, brought us to get some Bahn Mi then drove us to a temple, “small but colorful” he explained. He took us through the history of religion in Vietnam, a fairly complicated matter. We drove to a very local market and sampled some noodle soup from a street cart. It was so local they were taking pictures of us taking pictures of them! We were then off to the rice paddies to learn about how the rice is cleaned and produced for the masses. After that? A bath-tub whiskey tasting at one of our scooter drivers home, a true highlight! We then had lunch on the river before our boat tour down the Mekong. Got back to our hotel by 5pm. Really great day and very authentic experience. Highly recommended for those interested in the local life and history of Vietnam.

We did a one day Mekong private tour. This was a great way for us to see the Mekong when we only had one day and didn't want to join a group, our guide was wonderful, full of information and a very relaxed and friendly service.

Here we go again with Mr. Hien Vietnamguiding. We have had great city tour, vi visit Duc Ba Church, Shopping in Ben Thanh market, and boat trip in Ben Bach Dang. We enjoy tasty and delicious foods. There is a lot of good food( restaurants, and street kitchens) in Saigon, but to enjoy the best and 'safe' food' you need a local Guide. This Guy is Hien!. We first used Hien as a tour guide two years ago on our first trip to Vietnam. At that time, we did a day tour to the Mekong Delta with Hien. The tour included a stop at Cao Dai temple, a visit to a traditional market, a visit to his sister’s farm amongt the rice fields, a ride on motorbikes around the rice fields, delicious seafood lunch, ride on a sampan on the Mekong. Hien made our trip so special and personal! We enjoyed him so much that when we decided to come back to Vietnam 2 years later with my dad, I specifically requested him to once again be our guide. This time we decided on a 2D/1N tour in the Mekong. In addition to the visit to his family’s farm and the seafood lunch, we traveled a bit farther so early the next morning we could visit the floating markets. Hien organized our hotel in the local city. He once again made our trip so memorable. Hien is the best tour guide I have ever used in all my travels. He is passionate about his country and extremely knowledgeable about so many things! He has a great sense of humor, endless energy, and he always is smiling. He also provides WiFi in the vehicle in which you’re traveling. I will not hesitate to recommend Hien and will most definitely use him the next time we travel to Vietnam!

OMG.....what an amazingly fun day! We were a group of 9 westerners (ages 31- 65) in Vietnam for varied lengths of stay (attending a wedding). All of us were interested in a Mekong Delta tour. Through TripAdvisor we found Vietnam Guiding and decided to give them a try. We were interested in the Real Mekong Delta tour, but some in our group could not be relied upon for the very early start. With Mr.Hien Huynh's assistance we tailored the tour to our group and time. A packed day with a visit to a Cao Dai Temple, the Can Duoc market, a chili and tomato garden, scooter ride in Tan Hoa village, standing in a rice paddy, visit to rice husking factory, delicious seafood lunch at Tan Thanh muddy beach, ride on a sampan, and snake wine. We were off the beaten track so no other tourists or lines to contend with. We were picked up at our hotel by van and off we went. Our guide had a great command of English and was so knowledgeable and personable. He delivered the perfect amount of information for our group and in just the right manner. We would certainly use Vietnam Guiding again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. It was excellent value for the price!
