    Lovely experience
My first skyscraper, lovely experience. You can arrive until the 49th floor with a very little cost. I suggest to visit it around sunset, all the commercial area and the skyscrapers around will sparkle of lights. The view is at 360° over the town, unfortunately the reflection of the internal lights troubles the pictures and you need to writhe in order to find the right spot.

Beautiful views over the entire HCMC!
We visited the Skydeck which is part of the Financial Tower (so don't be confused if you ask for either and getting directed to the other). One side is the entry to the actual finanical tower and on the other side is the entry to the skydeck - two different entrances to the same building. The cost is 240 000 VND per person. Definitely worth the money as you are awarded with amazing views of HCMC. You can walk all the way around the centre of the tower. It is massive up there with wrap around windows and enough space for everyone to take photos or selfies without anyone else in the photo. Plenty of seating is you need a rest. Everything is super well organised with getting into the lifts and directed on where to go. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is lots of information against the inner walls of the tower such as the history of Saigon becoming HCMC and also comparions to other highest skyskrapers in the world. There is a gift shop for souveniers, water and snacks and also some more expensive quality gifts. Sharing a few photos of the views but as always, it is better to experience in person.

Not the tallest anymore, but better than its competitor
Bitexco used to be the tallest HCMC building for a long time, but not anymore. It was surpassed by Landmark 81 which was built further north along Saigon river. Despite of that, it remained Saigon landmark and a much better attraction imo, offering great views of downtown area where it's located. Most important is to pick a day with little or no haze, as it can spoil your experience. Also, try to be there before dusk to get both, day and night views. Many here complain about the entry fee of around 10$. It is little bit higher for Vietnamese standards, but have in mind such sky decks in US and Europe cost 30-50$, so I don't see a problem with that for tourists.

    bitexco vs landmark 81
went up to both bitexco and landmark 81 buildings. the latter is taller and more expensive (300000 vnd vs 240000 vnd) but the former is better situated. being more centrally located, you will be able to get a bird eye view of the key attraction sites and saigon river from bitexco skydeck easily the screen barrier most reviewers were speaking ill about at bitexco is a dotted film (?) or printed glass at the bottom half which affect photography. an adult of average height however should be able to aim the camera above that

    Amazing view. Good value
Sky deck is on 49th floor, not the very top. Very fast lift to go up, unfortunately no exterior view from inside lift. Great 360° view. Could be priced cheaper than 240k VND but still worth it.

    Nice view of the city
Great place to get a view of HCMC. Theres a few stores at the base of the tower but the sky deck is the selling point. Worth going if you enjoy seeing sights.

It was interesting to see from the top of the Bitexco tower
You can see a ton from above if you climb to the top of the Bitexco tower. The contrast between the new skyscrapers and the more historic structures (like the Opera House) was fascinating to see. There is much of history inscribed on the walls to learn about, and it is not pricey.

    Beautiful Skyscraper
For Ho Chi Minh city, this is an iconic structure, elsewhere in the world it's just another tall building. The observation deck is operational, but unfortunately the dining space is no longer operational.

    Cool experience
Great to visit the bar there to get some drinks and enjoy the view. The price is a bit higher but it’s worth for a visit to see the entire of the city.

We got tickets to the sky deck on a Friday evening. It wasn't very busy, and there's an elevator ride that takes you straight to the top. It's an indoor viewing deck, and the upper deck was closed for repair/construction. Great views all around the city including the river and you can see some of the landmarks.

The observation deck is not very high, and critically, it is below the helicopter deck, which is the best thing about the building & something I would have liked to have seen.

Views of central Saigon are good, even though you're not very high up.

Windows needed cleaning

I also went up Landmark 82 in HCMC, as its the 17th tallest building in the world. That's 4x's the price of this & is very expensive for a skyscraper observation deck, but its about 5km out of the city centre so you don't see much of the city centre from there

I went there and loved it twice. This wonderful view makes you unable to stop watching. To appreciate the whole experience I recommand to come around a quarter from five, thus you'll see the city by day, by night, and the sunset. It's not so crowdy, especially in the end of the afternoon.

definitely a great place to visit. Eaasy to get to in the middle of downtown Saigon. Don't buy any ticket from any agency like Trip Advisor, lest you be waiting forever for your e-ticket. Simply buy your ticket at entry.
Go there late afternoon towards dusk so you can see the lights of the city change from day to night, so see the city light up.

Just to clarify, the Financial Tower and the Skydeck are two separate things but part of the same building. Different entrances too. I think there is some confusion in the reviews. The Tower is a stunning huge structure and worth admiring from the outside. The actual Tower inside is mainly filled with offices, some shops and eateries. Well kept and nice but lacked atmosphere apart from some office workers. Worth a quick stop before going to the Skydeck next door which was really good. I travel much of the world and these things are always hit and miss. This was really good. I went in the day as I had seen loads of night views from various sky bars! It was nice to get a different perspective. I was impressed. Not too busy in the day. Well managed. What I loved was how informative this was. I learnt so much without having information overload. Really good. There are the usual binoculars or telescopes (whatever you call it), plus the interactive map where you can click on various attractions, see the location and learn more. Before you go up, just after you purchase your ticket, they will take a photograph of you and your party and you have the option to purchase the photographs at the top. From what I could see and I may be wrong, there was just a general admission ticket, this includes the Skydeck, free bottle of water at the top (just get it at the souvenir shop at the top of the Skydeck) and unlimited time. Ticket price was cheap VND 200,000 December, 2022. There were also information boards and a little museum about the traditional dress, the Ao Dai. There is also a section about the highest buildings around the world (this however, did need updating). I really enjoyed the hour I spent there. Was lovely. I took a nice stroll around and enjoyed the views, as well as learning loads. There is free fast wifi too which is useful for finding directions, if like me, you were doing a few attractions and need directions to your next location! There are limited seats around the Skydeck. The souvenir shop was nice and not too pricey. Some quality items. Just one lift to the top so quick to get up unless there are loads of people! Staff are friendly, pleasant and helpful. Clean. Highly recommend.

It wasn't realy worth it if you've seen the Lotte Observation deck in Hanoi. Or any other high tower in the world. After burj khalifa you've seen it all. If you get at the observation deck in Hanoi by sunset, you get to see how the city lits up in the evening. Hanoi is more spectacular than Ho Chi minh city. They got a billboard inside the Skydeck of Ho Chi minh, where they rate different high buildings on how iconic they are. They rated the American building as number one, the most iconic. The management of this financial tower happened to be American.. What a coincidence. Of course they rate their own country building as number one. I just thought it was interesting.

Tickets for those over 65 years old is 130,000vnd. They accept Visa credit cards.
The telescopes and interactive info boards are free. There's also a cyclo for a photo op. Saw the Ao dai dress exhibit and video. Saves me a trip to the Women's museum.

Wish they'd wash the windows, but that can't be easy. Get there near sunset to see
both a day and night view of the city. Due to Tet, it's especially festive around Nguyen Hue.

Straightforward visit. Nice view of the city as you're quite high up. Other reviews
complain about the price–definitely up to you to think whether you find it worth it. I personally really liked it as you get a 360° view of the whole city and see quite far. You can take great pictures; just some of the angles are bit tough because of light from the inside reflecting onto the windows.

We went up to the 49th floor of the bitexco financial tower which has an amazing 360 degrees view sky deck.

Great views of the saigon river and the area around it. Also has the Heineken centre alongside.

Both a must visit.

Overall this was a nice experience, with some room for improvement. We arrived about 45 minutes before sunset, which was a perfect time. The sky deck really does provide a 360 degree view of the city, and it’s a fascinating perspective. Watching the light change across the city as the sun lowered in the sky was pretty magical.

Areas that could use improvement: 1) The “fast track” ticket was just a regular ticket. We still had to stand in line for a physical ticket, and then we used the same elevator and queue as everyone else. There was nothing unique about our fast track ticket. 2) The exhibits are interesting, but once the sun goes down and it gets dark outside, it’s hard to see the city lights because the bright exhibit lights behind you reflect off the windows. The key is to stand in front of a pillar to get good photos — that way the pillar blocks the light behind you. 3) You are not outside at all. That’s a helicopter pad you see from the ground. You are inside the entire time, which wasn’t clear to me beforehand. You still have amazing views, but just know that this isn’t an outdoor sky deck.

The views are great despite it now not being the tallest building in Ho Chi Minh. Compared to any other sky deck we have visited the price felt reasonable at roughly £8 per person. There is nothing fancy about the lift up to the 49th floor, I say this because similar buildings in New York and London have a lot more entertainment involved. Sky deck gives 360 views of the city and plenty space to walk around the take pictures. We went at sunset and it wasn’t busy.
