- R5542CMalinam0 contributionsTrip to north vietnamThe Tour over the three days was absolut amazing. Our Guide Lim was so nice and accompanied us to the different places of north Vietnam. Our driver Long drove us safe and sound everywhere. Even with the difficulties of the taifun we could enjoy the trip. As a vegetarian could try out many different dishes which were very nice. Only thing to note is that the drives in between take a long time. But we stopped regulary to get some cofee. All in all: 10/10Written September 19, 2024
- paulgS3072MC0 contributionsA Great Vietnam Holiday. We wanted a holiday as well as seeing the major cities so we visited Hanoi , Ho Chi Min, and then had a week in each of Da Nang and Nha Trang in all 21 Days. The beach resorts were excellent. Yes we will be going back .Written September 13, 2024
- Gianluca_Esp0 contributionsOne of the best travel agencies ever!I contacted Mr Linh's Adventures to visit the centre of Vietnam. I was travelling solo but I didn't want an expensive private tour. So Van Anh arranged a series of group tours for me, but in some cases I was the only client (so it was basically private). She organised everything for me: also hotel accommodations and private transfers to/from the airport. I just had to take care of dinners. The quality of the services was very high, from the hotels to the guides. And the price was much lower than average. I absolutely recommend Mr Linh's Adventures if you are travelling through Vietnam.Written September 8, 2024

All the best.Written August 27, 2024
- Brittnie Y0 contributionsDriving driving drivingDay 1 we were last to be picked up and had to sit at the end of the row which was very uncomfortable. The next two days we basically raced to get a better seat so we wouldn’t have to do that again. The first day had the most driving too… the lunch was pretty bizarre. Làm helped me to a pharmacy to grab some medicine which was really nice cuz I didn’t even ask. Hoemstay is not for the faint of heart, but one can adapt. There’s a shared restroom and dinner is family style like lunch. Family is welcoming. Day 2 the big day… the waterfall was overflowing and that meant we couldn’t do the boat raft womp womp… all that driving … but hey we got in some good shots after slipping through some deep slippery mud. Ba be lake was nice, some trash kind of like ha long Bay Area. Jungle houses are way nicer. We loved our room! Not too much water pressure but did the job. Meals were an upgrade for sure we loved it all. Staff was friendly too. Oh and the pool was a nice reward after another day of driving. Day 3 another day of driving but before that we did a 3km hike which we loved because we had the guide to ourselves and we had some awesome convos with Lắm (sp?) he is the best guide we’ve ever had compared to any other tours we’ve ever been on. He’s so sweet, funny, helpful, patient open and informative. Shout out to lắm for baby sitting all of us . He really made the trip better. Such a kind soul. And shout out to our poor driver sadly dont remember his name but apparently he was friends with Mr linh since high school. Feel bad for him driving on those crazy roads for all those long hours!Written August 15, 2024
- Z3922FHhelenb0 contributionsBespoke Tour; Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba Island and Lan ha BayI can highly recommend Mr Linh's Adventures and our Travel Consultant Helen. From first contacting Helen I knew we were in good hands, she expertly managed our expectations to maximise our time without over stretching the itinerary. Helen crafted a bespoke 7 night plan that incorporated Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba Island and Lan Ha Bay with private guides as well as free time so we could explore under our own steam. Accommodation included hotels, homestays and a cruise on Lan Ha Bay and all were excellent. Our dietary requirements (two of us are gluten and dairy free) were communicated to all involved in our trip and we were very well catered for. Whilst we were on Cat Ba Island sailing was postponed due to a tropical storm which meant staying an extra night over and above our tour arrangements. Helen negotiated a great rate at the hotel we were already at, so there was no need to change accommodation or even rooms and ensured our return to Hanoi went smoothly once we could sail again the following day. Last minute add on's to our Hanoi part of the trip were seamlessly added in and having some extra time in Ho Chi Minh City Helen arranged a private tour to the Chu Chi Tunnels. Our guides and drivers were all excellent, and we cannot praise them enough, particularly with how engaging they were with our children (ages 10 & 12). The local and national knowledge they shared was brilliant and we left them with a much richer knowledge of Vietnam. We spent a total of two weeks in Vietnam and Helen took care of over half of our holiday. Booking our trip North this way took all of the stress out of it and we are so glad we did.Written July 30, 2024
- juanjo_jn0 contributionsVery good experienceThe places to visit are amazing. And I was very surprised with the accommodations. The areas were gorgeous and both homestays were beautiful and with nice food. I absolutely recommend the trip. Although Tinh didn't speak a fluent English, he did a good job and was very funny. I enjoyed him as a guide. The only bad side of the tour is that there are many hours on the road. But I think it's worth it.Written July 22, 2024
- shakeyh20240 contributionsGreat taste of northern vietnamFantastic taste of sites of northern Vietnam. Jason was a great guide and Win Win, the bus driver was great. There is a bit of driving, however it was well worth it. My favourite part was the small villages. The first homestay accommodation was fairly basic but the surroundings excellent.Written July 17, 2024
- hutch_1975_20 contributionsFamily Trekking in the North VietnamI found Mr Lihn adventures browsing the net looking for someone for a trekking tour in the North of Vietnam. I came in contact with Helen that via whatsapp and email helped me building the itinerary and suggested the best for me and my family. She did an excellent work Building an itinerary perfect for a family with teens (20-17 yo) and especially a kid of 9yo. Helen has been and important virtual presence and an unvaluable help during all the preparation and the trip too. We had 5 fantastic days with Mr. Hai as guide. He did all he can to make us confortable, explaining a lot of things about Vietnam and it's people and habits. He choosed the right trails depending on wheather and timings. We felt really relaxed with him as guide. What an experience! We'll be back for sure! Thank you!Written July 15, 2024

- nathangL4265HZ0 contributions6 day motorcycle trip, north Vietnam, with Hue and Ý6 Days Hanoi, Ba Be Lake, and Ha Long Bay Guided Motorcycle Tour in Vietnam Guide - Hue Mechanic - Ý (sounds like E) Motocycles - Yamaha WR155R Dual Sports (perfect for everything Vietnam) This was the most amazing & challenging motorcycling trip my friend and I have ever done! Most trips just take you straight on the lame hot, boring, high traffic highways to the spots, but Hue and Ý led us through such diverse towns and countryside, with every type of road, trail, and terrain you can imagine! From crazy cities, towns, and villages with their busy streets, tight alleyways, random animals everywhere; to high speed twisties up and down the mountains, country roads seeing the local life, being welcomed and awed by everyone we saw with the dual sports; to jungle forest trails with random muds pits, jumps, rock climbing; to chill straights out in the open taking in all the memorizing beauty of Vietnam. They made sure we had the best time, 24/7 for 6 days straight. They'd watch what we are already knew a out riding, what we could learn, and throw it all at us, everyday! They made sure we enjoyed what we were already good at, and also throw us some challenges everyday! I loved the diversity and we saw and experienced it all. They are some of the most passionate and hard working guys I've ever met! They were our coaches, guides, mechanic, and friends, teaching us about their country and riding. Some days we got to points we didn't know how the we'd make it though, but we all helped eachother and made it. We spent our evenings with them having drinks, laughing about the rides, and taking just talking about life and our passions. OMG what an adventure! Thank you Hue and Ý!Written June 21, 2024
- Safari341947180250 contributionsOur Customized Cao Bang, Ban Gioc, Babe Lake tour in May-June 2024We are a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. We traveled on this 4D3N customised private tour to Cao Bang, Ban Gioc waterfall, Ba Be Lake. We were picked up by the tour guide Mr. Long (David) at Halong Bay. We traveled to Cao Bang. The drive was long but enjoyable. David is a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who did his utmost to make our tour comfortable and provide unique experiences like a mountain trek near Mr. Kim homestay, visits to paper producing village, incense producing village, insights into lives of minority groups in north Vietnam. The visit to Ban Gioc, the monastery on the hill and the nearby cave were great experiences. We enjoyed our boat ride to Ba Be lake, swimming in the lake and our stay at the Ba Be lake homestay. We had vegetarian diet requirements which were well arranged by our tour guide David throughout the tour. We definitely enjoyed our tour and the variety of experiences along the way.Written June 7, 2024
- Curiosity219286921460 contributionsDisappointingMost of the days are spent traveling on the bus. First day spent on the bus to get to the first home stay 8 hours from Hanoi . The first home stay was nice, clean food was tasty, not so peaceful and tranquil as they sung karaoke until gone midnight. Back on the bus in the morning we went to the cave which was really quite cool then onto the waterfalls unfortunately for us were super busy . Guide told us the bamboo raft were only for the Chinese side but I insisted as it was the main attraction and on our itinerary after that I feel the guide was a bit upset with me . We were then back on the bus 7 1/2 hours later arriving at mr linhs home stay was pitch black and we got stuck in the mud in the boat crossing to the home stay . Home stay is nice clean food tasty but repetitive. Didn't have the home stay vibe though just hotel business just a name as mr linh himself lives in hanoi. Next day Ba be lakes on the boat, beautiful also another cave which was really cool. We walked along a path near a small village and back on the boat , lunch and then another 7 1/2 hour bus drive back to Hanoi . The attractions and home stay are lovely but it just feels like your taken there to take a photo and move on . I would not recommend this trip as most of it is spent on the bus it literally sucked the life out of me . The trip needs to be revised.Written May 2, 2024
