This is an amazing food tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Brian went out of his way to show us places off the beaten track. We tasted so many different dishes at places where only locals were eating. Is was great to have someone show us around the Old Quarter and take us to places we would have never gone to ourselves. He was very knowledgeable about all the food items that we tasted as well as Vietnam’s history. It was a highly enjoyable private tour and great value for the money. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi who wants to taste authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Jennifer our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. The coffee shops were each so unique and we were told about the creation of famous drinks. Each coffee was so different and so tasty! 100% recommend booking this tour.

To all interested: Taste of Hanoi (T.O.H.) helped to provide a remarkable experience for my family during our visit to Vietnam. Our experience was perhaps different than a "normal" tour - and it was excellent. Allow me to explain: 1) We were very behind in travel planning for our trip to Vietnam. We had booked flights and only the first night hotel for a 10-day stay. We were supposed to be leaving within a week and didn't have the rest of the itinerary planned out. Needless to say - our stress level was high. We sent out emails to multiple Vietnam travel agencies asking for last minute help...Taste of Hanoi came through in a BIG way for us. 2) First, Brian from T.O.H. was fastest to respond to our emergency request for planning assistance, and was on the phone with us multiple times making sure everything was set, including ensuring that our visa's to Vietnam (from the United States) were completed in time for travel. 3) Second - we had asked for a very particular itinerary, travelling to multiple places around the northen section of Vietnam. While some of the stops were "customary" tourist locations, we also asked T.O.H. to help us get legitimate local experiences as much as possible. To do this - they had to put together a completely custom schedule, obtain the right local guides, and ensure our transportation was all arranged. They came through on everything - it was great 4) Third - TOH arranged to have local guides for us that were expert in Vietnam locations and culture. They spoke respectable English, were kind and considerate, and took excellent care of my family while there. They also arranged a private driver for us the entire time, which made our travel around the north (Hanoi, Ninh Bihn, Sapa, Fansipan, Ha Long Bay and Island) as good as we could have hoped for. We also asked for some unique experiences - like a scooter tour of Hanoi - and they were able to arrange and make it happen for us on short notice. 5) Finally - they were highly responsive during our time in Vietnam, and responded to ay questions or calls we had on very short notice. Overall - a 5 star experience. Truly - highly recommend this company to help you visit Vietnam. Ha was our tour guide and he was exceptional. We started off for drinks at the Skyline bar, which had spectacular views of Hanoi. Followed by gorgeous street food at a local restaurant. Our tour guide then took us through some of the tiny streets in Hanoi's old quarter whilst given us a history of the area. This was followed by more street food, and a signature cocktail at Nê Cocktail bar. The night ended with craft bears at Pasteur Street Craft Beer - Ấu Triệu Taproom & Restaurant. It was a fantastic tour that I highly recommend.

Had the Best time on the evening moto bike tour in Hanoi! The stops are all worthwhile, the guide was super informative, and riding on a moto bike was not only fun but get such an authentic experience in the city. We had an amazing day with Ha and Nhi. They took us to see some very interesting historical sites in Hanoi on their motorcycles. They were both very generous and very knowledgeable. We felt safe on the bikes, and extremely well looked after. It was an absolute highlight of our visit to Hanoi and we will never forget the experience.

Fantastic tour! An exhilarating bike ride through the old quarter and across Long Bien Bridge. Brian is an excellent guide. We felt safe on the bicycles with him in Hanoi traffic, he made sure we had plenty of hydration and snacks. We very much enjoyed tasting local food like the egg coffee and sticky rice ice creams. Brian’s local knowledge and understanding of the colourful history of Hanoi bought the tour to life. A must do tour especially if you only have a short time in Hanoi, you will see and experience so much. Highly recommend.

The secret coffee tour was amazing! We had a great time exploring coffee shops! We had every quality coffee we can get and learn about it at the same time! Every shop we went to had completely different tastes and vibes which makes our experience more fun! Our tour guide Jennifer is very knowledgeable, she did a great job touring us around! I did this tour with Brian from "A taste of Hanoi". He was energetic, knowledgeable and a great story teller. My Hanoi experience would not have been what it was if it was not for what I saw, learnt and experienced on my tour with Brian. If you want to make your time in Hanoi worth it, he is your must-have guide.

I decided to take a couple of food tours as soon as I got to Hanoi to better get my bearings on the city. I am so glad I did this. The city can be overwhelming at first and a food tour with a guide really helps to 'break the ice' and get you walking around the city. Bryan was our guide. We went to so many places. And not touristy places. Which I loved! I am a huge foodie and have had many food tours in other countries. None of them compare to Bryan's. Bryan took us to several places one would never find if new to the city. He told us the story behind each stop and in between eats he taught us some history of Vietnam. He stopped at several places I would have just walked by and never tried. At each stop I learned something new. And that was the goal - to learn more about the food and culture in Vietnam starting in Hanoi. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to spend two days with Bryan. It was time well spent and worth every single penny. Next time I'm in Hanoi I'm scheduling another tour. So much to see! And taste! Thanks for two great days!
