We did a West Lake tour and were thrilled to get out and around the lake, feel a breeze on our faces and see a few different areas and sights around the lake. The team were really responsive and informative before the tour, especially as the route had to be adjusted because of the recent typhoon. Our guide was clear and we felt safe navigating the roads around the lake and enjoyed the stops for coffee and chat!

I love love LOVE the tour we had with electric smiles! The bikes here are of better quality than the ones we've used before on previous tours in Thailand and Bali, we're actually are very pleasantly surprised as we know not a lot of rental places use such high quality bikes so this is definitely a plus. Prior to booking a rental with Electric Smiles, the staff here were so helpful and attentive, they answered all of our questions relating to the tours and also gave really nice recommendation for itinerary during our stay here in Hanoi. Lovely company, highly recommend.

Whilst Electric Smiles run e-bike tours in and around Hanoi, my request to hire an e-bike for 10 days to do around 500k in the mountains was totally out of their normal operations. However not only did they agree, they have also gone above and beyond to assist me with this tour. This included not only bike hire, but also transport arrangements to and from my start and finish points (with the bike), booking some accommodation for me, liaising and interpreting on several occasions, and fully supporting me during the ride. If you have any interest in doing a "different" style of adventure in Vietnam, I strongly recommend you contact them to discuss options. They are fluent in English & Vietnamese and were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

The West Lake tour in Hanoi is an excellent choice for individuals like myself who are on the path to recovery from running-related injuries but still seek exercise and enjoyment. The electric bikes provide a comfortable and leisurely ride, allowing you to soak in the scenery and cultural without putting undue strain on your body. Additionally, the owner of the tour is incredibly kind and supportive, making the experience even more delightful.

Hoi An is one of our favorite destinations because it is where we got married. We go to Hoi An quite often. Normally we rent motorbikes to go around for sight seeing This time one day we saw a group of tourists on ebikes, they looked so happy and so enjoyable that we stopped to ask for information. A few days later we took the same tour and were amazed with the whole trip. Sight seeing by Ebike helps you to enjoy the nature more, slowly take in the scenic view of the yellow rice fields when you ride through small paths around villages. Especially you will visit local family having tranditional household industries, finding out how Vietnamese make fine rice wine, rice paper, famous fish sauce, sesame oil.... all made by hands. A fresh and cold coconut juice at a stop will refresh your mind and soul on a hot day or a gounded coffee cup will blow your mind away. It is a great way to meet the local people, get to know their daily activities and family- made products that become so famous about Hoi An. We highly recommend this tour by Electric Smiles. We had such a memorable day and an amazing experience, a totally different aspect of Hoi An.

Doing the 3 day, 2 night Mai Chau Pu Long Private e-bike tour is probably one of the coolest experiences we'll ever do. And it was definitely the highlight of our 3+ week SE Asia adventure. Our guide Lily was simply the best! Not only did she have the best energy and attitude, she also was so friendly that every local we interacted with literally welcomed us into their home. She accommodated every stop we wanted to make and always provided great insight and context. She went above and beyond at many moments, ensuring we got the food we wanted and best experience. Seeing these different mountain communities by bike enabled such an authentic experience that we are genuinely grateful for. The bikes made the ride easy and graceful. And the Mai Chau Hideaway lunch stop was some of the best food of our entire Vietnam trip. Truth is, I'm always a little skeptical of Trip Advisor reviews - in terms of the level of honesty and being from real people - but I am being sincere when I say - if you're comfortable riding bikes, this is 100% worth doing!

Our 3 day bike tour with tourguide Hien was absolutely amazing. The electric bikes are from high quality, perfect equipment. Hien went every step to make this biketour amazing. 65km per day through the best scenery you can imagine. We would this trip again and again.

E-Mazing time on this e-bike tour on outskirts of Hanoi. It was fabulous to travel down quiet lanes and along river banks over bridges, rice fields, temples and lovely banana Island. Most of the 40k+ is on quieter roads with only some sections need to be on main roads. What a great way to experience the scenery. Our guide (Minh) was very considerate and safety minded navigating the busy roads. The ebikes take all the hard work of cycling and suitable for any ability. They are great quality. If you want to feel like you are cycling you can opt for lowest setting, though I especially liked the turbo boost for getting up the hills!! You should give yourself 5 hours to enjoy the stops, and on hot day the coconut water and the lovely tamarind juice were so refreshing. Really loved the peaceful setting at Co Lao temple, with lotus flowers in season, and also the ripe rice fields and after coming across Long Bien bridge and onto banana Island was a great finish. So many highlights, and great idea for a trip for travellers or those who live in Hanoi and want to enjoy seeing the beauty outside the bustling city. Hope to get to use Electric Smiles again next time in Hoi An or Mai Chau. Thank you Electric Smiles Team!!

This was a fabulous day - the e-bikes made a near 50 km trip almost effortless. The guide (Lily) was amazing (and resourceful when one e-bike decided it had enough for the day!), the countryside gorgeous, the vegan lunch at the end yummy. The trip largely went off road which was great and Lily very skillfully took across the two or three high traffic crossings...we would highly recommend this tour.

It was great to see nature in Hanoi. The guide was informative and good crack, my highlight was seeing banana island and long biển bridge. The electric bike is top quality and a pleasure to ride.
