Most of the days are spent traveling on the bus. First day spent on the bus to get to the first home stay 8 hours from Hanoi . The first home stay was nice, clean food was tasty, not so peaceful and tranquil as they sung karaoke until gone midnight. Back on the bus in the morning we went to the cave which was really quite cool then onto the waterfalls unfortunately for us were super busy . Guide told us the bamboo raft were only for the Chinese side but I insisted as it was the main attraction and on our itinerary after that I feel the guide was a bit upset with me . We were then back on the bus 7 1/2 hours later arriving at mr linhs home stay was pitch black and we got stuck in the mud in the boat crossing to the home stay . Home stay is nice clean food tasty but repetitive. Didn't have the home stay vibe though just hotel business just a name as mr linh himself lives in hanoi. Next day Ba be lakes on the boat, beautiful also another cave which was really cool. We walked along a path near a small village and back on the boat , lunch and then another 7 1/2 hour bus drive back to Hanoi . The attractions and home stay are lovely but it just feels like your taken there to take a photo and move on . I would not recommend this trip as most of it is spent on the bus it literally sucked the life out of me . The trip needs to be revised.

          3 day trekking tour
We had a great experience on the tour, the weather was a bit cloudy and chilly but that was perfect to not be to warm. Son was a great tour guide and we had a great not too challenging tempo during the hike, he also showed us many plants and told us about the culture of the villages. It is a great way to experience and learn about Vietnamese culture, religion and history and see many pretty views. Really recommend!!

A great travel experience in Vietnam
During 2023 we worked with Phuong from Mr Linh's Adventures on a customised tour of 24 day tour of Vietnam . We simply sent Phuong a list of what we wanted to do and see. The result was mix, a customised tour for part of our stay with a driver and a guide along with a number of small tours where we joined others. The entire adventure was smooth sailing from beginning to end. Everything was in place and we just had to sit back and relax. The guides and the drivers were wonderful with a special shoutout to 'Long' and 'Zap' whom we spent our first nine days with, covering over 1,600 kilometres by car through the most amazing countryside and windy roads.

Sapa and Bac Ha custom tour.
Well guided and well coordinated in a remote part of Vietnam. Always a smooth transition from different guides and drivers. We did a 3 day, 2night tour to Sapa and Bac Ha, both home stays in well appointed, comfortable surroundings. Highly recommend this adventure organizer respectably if you want to do something out of the ordinary.

          Adventures with Mr Linh Adventures
We signed up for 4D3N Caobang (Trip 1) and 9D8N Sapa and Ninh Binh (Trip 2). We were looking for a reliable tour agent for our maiden trip to Vietnam. We were impressed with friendliest and seamless services extended by Helen (pre, during and post), Mr Mike and Mr Hai (guides) and Mr Nguoc (driver) of Mr Linh Adventures. From homestays, to beautiful mountains, majestic waterfalls, ancient sites, dinner with families etc. Mr Linh Adventures had met satisfactorily of our requirements for our quest for adventures of a different kind. We will miss Vietnam and the team from Mr Linh Adventures but we are bringing back great memories created during our stay.

Good trip despite the rain but quality of Homestay and bungalow was poor value for money
We did 2 days trekking in Pu Luong and one day in Ninh Binh with the other day travelling. Weather was poor but the countryside was beautiful even Ninh Binh where the weather was torrential For the price we paid (over $1k) the accommodation was poor quality. The Lo Van Nam Homestay was very basic, a mattress on the floor! While the Tam Coco bungalow was basic and dirty. I just don’t feel we got value for money although both areas are beautiful and I am glad we went. It took 6 hours driving to get from the airport to Ou Luong which we weren’t expecting- Sapa would have been quicker..!

Halong Bay and Ba Be National Park
Great organised tour from pickup at our hotel and dropped backed, Good knowledge by our guide Sonny and great driving by the driver, we first got picked up and went to Ha Long bay and spent the night with 30 others from a different tour on a boat in HaLong bay, good food and tours of caves and kayaking, only negative would be the over crowded islands, went back to Hanoi for a stay at a very nice hotel, from there the next morning we got picked up by Sonny and the driver, there were only four of us on this tour, we went to the caves, waterfalls on the China border and then on to a farm stay in a village, next day on to Ba Be Lake National Park where we spent the night at a lovely guest house, next day we did a long boat trip up to a village, temple and back to the guest house for lunch and then drove back to Hanoi .The tour did a circuit of North Vietnam, it is a lot of driving but the accommodation is very good along with all the food, the driver ( sorry forgot his name) was excellent along with Sonny the guide who's local knowledge was first class, Sonny kept a eye on everything including dealings with locals making sure we weren't over charged, dealings with Linh Hue via WhatsApp was excellent from my first research via the internet in Australia, high would highly recommend this company, regards Bryan, Australian

          Trekking in Cao Bang Province
This was my fourth trek with Mr. Linh adventures, and every trip has been outstanding. Our tour guide was tops in knowledge of the terrain, of the flora and fauna, of the local ethnic minority tribes people, and of Vietnam History. The Cao Bang journey offered spectacular views of the mountains, tribal villages , and of course the Ban Gioc Waterfalls on the Vietnam-China border. This tour company delivers fully on the adventures they promise and I came away with much knowledge and understanding of the local tribes people who have occupied these areas for hundreds of years.

Cat Ba and Lan Ha Bay!
This was a truly special trip. We wanted to avoid the commercial Halong Bay and this trip definitely took you off the beaten track. The trek through Cat Ba Island was challenging and rewarding. We enjoyed the stay in Viet Village at the Whisper Homestay. Mung was our fantastic Cat Ba Island guide. He took us to the top of Navy Peak early the next morning for amazing views over the Bay. We then jumped on bikes down to the harbour for our day and night on a boat sailing around Lan Ha Bay. It was beyond our expectations. We loved the kayaking and the kids enjoyed jumping off the boat! The hospitality from Sing and the crew was so friendly. Thank you so much for the memories.

Family trip to Ban Giou and Babr Lake
Many thanks to our guide, Long Tran and our driver Mr Long for taking care of us on our wonderful family trip to Ban Giou Waterfall and Babe Lake. Even though the drives were long, the care, knowledge of our guide, beautiful scenery, accommodations and delicious food made up for it all. Thank you!

First hand experience with Mr Linh Adventures
We were a couple on a 17-day tour of Vietnam, North to South and we decided to hire Mr Linh Adventure to come up with an itinerary for our trip after reading so many positive reviews online. We went for the superior package that includes stays in 4-star hotels. Now looking back at the trip, we have seen cool places and have made some lovely memories which we are grateful to our tour operator for organizing. Where we think Mr Linh Adventure could improve is attention to some important details that can ruin the traveler’s experience, and unfortunately in our case those glitches did exactly that. The provided itinerary was on occasion containing wrong or missing important details like time and duration of the activities, which made it difficult for us to plan our time for resting, meals and shopping. Timings of tours sometimes didn’t make sense in the context: not being able to check in to out room on arrival after a long haul flight and scheduling a half-day Hanoi city tour on the day of arrival instead, or a 7:30 pickup on New Year’s Day for a tour of HCMC. They could also try to optimize the route for the traveler without having to come back to certain places (we had to go back to Hanoi 3x) by making better journey suggestions to maximise the traveler’s experience. Another possible improvement is the customer communication management during the journey. When we gave feedback about the issues during the trip, instead of trying to understand our issues (like having to wait 1 hour on an unknown location for a previously unannounced change in transfer that was making us nervous) our tour operator was getting defensive. (Though they later tried to apologize for that by sending us with a full-sized cake while on boat cruise that we didn’t know what to do with!). All in all we hope they will take this feedback and improve their service, as well as for other travelers to be able to benefit from our experience when making their decision about choosing their tour operator. Things I recommend to consider and ask up front about: transfer times when on day tours, only doing half-day tours on some days so you are not tiring yourself out, requesting to go on tours that don’t include so many stops at tourist traps places that would never go to on your own, etc….

          Amazing experience - perfect organization!
Amazing experience - we did the three day two night tour and I can’t speak highly enough about it. The team took care of us at all times, they were super friendly, funny and helpful with anything we needed. Shout out to the team lead Minh, who helped us with anything we needed and spoke perfect English! Everything was amazingly organized and our safety was always put first. The fact that we had a private tour also allowed us to go to more hidden gems which only the riders seemed to know about and which you would otherwise not get to see.

I have been working with Helen from Mr. Linh's Adventure on this trip since 2019. And we finally made it to Vietnam! Helen planned a wonderful custom itinerary that included trekking through Hoang Su Phi, boating in Ba Be Lake, visiting Ban Gioc Falls, and relaxing in Lan Ha Bay/Halong Bay. This itinerary took us all over northern Vietnam. Due to the remoteness, the drives are long (I won't sugarcoat it), and so we knowingly sacrificed trekking time to check off the boxes.

Our guide Sunny was an absolute gem. He was very knowledgeable about the various cultures and practices and made us feel at home with the local ethnic peoples. The highlight of our trip was a Sunday lunch, including rice wine, with a local Dao family; they made us feel part of the family. Overall, this was an amazing trip and I highly recommend Mr. Linh's Adventure.

Hello. From August 23rd, I traveled from Hanoi to Ha Giang for 3 nights and 4 days, then crossed the mountains to a town at the foot of the mountain. I was moved by the magnificent mountain ranges. I had the opportunity to interact with the local ethnic people, which made for a very meaningful trip, but the travel was tiring.
The children in the mountains were welcoming me with bright smiles, even though they didn't go to school and lived without electricity. I would like to pass on what I can to Japanese children as well. It was an emotional trip.
