Excellent and very well managed cruise . We had leasure time. The host and our tour guide Mr. Tony was very helpful and supportive and was always available to support. We recommend everyone for Halong sapphire cruises !

This was a fantastic tour! Tony was very friendly and informative, he takes his job very seriously and he is a fantastic guide. The boat was a great size and had great amenities, all the staff were lovely. Shout out to James Bond for the cocktails! The food was fantastic, meals were multiple courses and they catered to allergies and preferences really well! A big thankyou to Tony for looking after us so well, such a gentle kind man with our happiness and safety being his priority. Will be back again for a longer stay next time! Thanks so much! Our guide, Tony was incredibly friendly, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. He greeted us warmly and created a welcoming atmosphere from the start. His ability to arrange the plan properly was impressive. He had a well-thought-out itinerary that ensured we made the most of our time and didn't miss any important sights or experiences. His organization skills made the tour run smoothly, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the experience. I was particularly impressed by our guide's patience throughout the tour.

Great cruise, only on it for one night but very enjoyable, good food, and service room very comfortable, staff lovely, would recomend.

We were very satisfied with our cruise. Our guide Power was very funny and made every effort to ensure we had a good stay. Overall, the whole staff was very nice and everything was extremely well organized. The rooms were clean and very well equipped. There was never a dull moment and the time passed very quickly. If you have more time I would recommend a 3 day cruise. For the price, the cruise was perfect. We would recommend the Sapphire Cruise.

Halong Bay 1 night: It was such an amazing trip. Everything exceeded my expectations. Tony thank you for your enthusiasm on this tour, definitely makes the trip worth a second visit. The room from the cruise is spacious and luxury. The food was amazing and also, other options in case of vegan/ allergies. Super flexible with times when it comes to activities like kayaking. Loved this experience!

We were with Sapphire Cruise for a 2 days 1 night trip and it was perfect! Tony was our guide, he told us about everything that we need to know (out and in the boat) we started and finished our trip with his service, very recommended! All the staff were attentive, they give us a room upgrade with better view! The activities were fun. The food was delicious and varied and catered for all requirements! Thank you to the team!

This was our first experience in a cruise and to be honest it was not one that we would like to remember. The staff tried to trick us into getting an inferior room from what we paid which was a bummer. Due to that they gave us a smaller and cheaper room for one day and shifted us to the suite on the top floor on the second day which was after the party, who they had wrongly promised to give our room, checked out. Throughout the cruise the person responsible was trying to apologies after we caught them which is fine, but it ended up spoiling our whole experience in a honeymoon. Overall, I felt this cruise was overhyped and is not worth the money they charge. You don't even get free water to drink during the cruise. Activities like swimming and visiting the beach were rushed and we barely got to experience them properly.

It was an okay experience but not worth it in my opinion. We did the 2 day 1 night trip and was disappointed overall. The bay is beautiful so at least I enjoyed that but there was much to be desired by the cruise itself. To start the food was not very tasty and there was no selection for what you wanted to eat during meals. It was bland and honestly any street food anywhere else in Vietnam is miles better in terms of taste. It’s like they combined the worst of western and Vietnamese food for their fusion fare. It felt like they were trying to push guests to buy overpriced drinks all the time. Water was not complimentary so you were essentially held hostage to buy their overpriced bottles of water (so many small plastic bottles are probably why ha long bay is so polluted) The excursions were okay but not great. We were dropped off at a dirty looking bay with some plastic floating around and put in old dingy kayaks. They told us to explore but offered no guide or even told us when to return. On their schedule it said it was between 3-5pm for this activity but when we got back at 4:30 they staff were quite rude about how we took too long and they wanted to get going (despite their own schedule saying it was until 5 and tons of other boats in the area still kayaking and swimming) The boat also advertised wifi access but it barely worked. The jets in the bath also did not work. The bed was simply two twin mattresses pushed together so it was not comfortable. At night they blasted loud music whicu made it hard for guests who wanted to sleep earlier for the very early morning excursion. For the price spent I easily could have had a better experience just booking day trips and staying in a nice hotel.

A mixed experience. Some positives: -Staff were really friendly and the room was nice and clean with a good balcony and view. -Plenty of food (perhaps too much!) and catered for dietary requirements. -Tour on Cat Ba island and the kayaking on the second day was a great experience and well organised. - sunrise was exceptional (but we could have just been lucky) Some negatives: - Drinks were hugely overpriced and we had to pay for water (small bottle 4x price in Hanoi). We were also advised from the staff on the boat not to buy drinks from local vendors which meant we had no option but to buy from the boat. We would recommend stocking on water before boarding. - Bright and dark cave tour was disappointing - not really a cave - Boat not as modern as some of the others in the bay - squid fishing offered as activity but on board the boat we were informed due to the number of boats in the bay there aren’t very many squid around….

I was with sapphire for a 3day/2night trip with two friends and it was perfect. All the staff were exceptionally attentive and the activities were fun. The food was lovely and varied and catered for all requirements! Thank you to the team!

Stayed with my friends for 3 days and 2 nights - beautiful scenery, attentive and kind crew, and brilliantly planned day trips. Highly recommend to anyone - thank you to all the crew :)
