My friend and I booked a tour to Sapa a couple of months in advance. They failed to tell us and cancelled our booking at the last minute despite our hotel ringing to confirm the details. Very disappointing and poor communication.

Picking royal heritage Cruise was the best feature which made my trip in HaLong bay wonderful than ever. The staff wrote back and confirmed the cabin was very prompt and handled everything very professionally. Like he cruise's name ' Royal', everthing in the cruise had my money's worth.The the sails and wooden decks were very charming.The cabin was really clean and had a ensuite bathroom that was quite large.The food and drink on board was excellent.I loved my balcony very much because the panoramic views from the to deck of the boat was breathtaking.The crew and staff of the boat were very friendly and good command of English.I was really impressed bay Surprise Cave and Titop island. In general,this tour was a good choice,so I give 5 star rating for this

We had a great trip to Sapa and Bac Ha Market last weekend with a a local tour guide in Sapa. As this is a part of our anniversary trip so we wanted to make it enjoyable and memorable. Thus, I put all my efforts to plan my trip with the support of Nancy from Red Gecko Travel. Due to short time, we can only visit Halong and Sapa but we enjoyed every minute of our trip. The cabin on Orient Express Train was very nice and clean, the hotel in Sapa – Sunny Mountain was also very good and the trip to Bac Ha market was excellent! We had the pick up guide to pick up us from/to railway station and the tour guide in Sapa to welcome us. The pick up guide was always in time as Nancy informed us in advance and we really loved the guide who escorted us in Sapa. He said he is a local people from a village named Ta Van, attended to tourism school in Hanoi then back to home town to work as a tour guide. He was very very friendly and had a great knowldedge about his people. The trip to Bac Ha was highlighted by the lunch at the place where local people gather to buy and sell foods. Our previous arrangement was to have lunch in the restaurant but then, we was attracted by his guiding and try to have lunch at the cuisine section, having corn wine, some foods (but not a kind of food which was mixed by the innards of animal!). The weather in Sapa at that time was favourable for us to have the trekking trip in Sapa also. Great place to see and great service.
