The gondola ride to the top is amazing. The bridge was very busy. The buhhdas and temples and gardens are epic as are the castles. A very worth while experience .

I booked my family holiday trip to Vietnam for 7 days and 6 nights with Rubicon Tours. Following one of my very close friend's recommendation I contacted Ms Annie from Rubicon Tours Vietnam and she was superb in crafting a customized itinerary based on my specific requirements. And it indeed exceeded our expectations already because my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in HANOI, HALONG BAY (OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE) and then in DANANG and HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN + BANA HILLS. Hotels and pre booked meals were outstanding and more than enough through out our trip. Thanks Ms Annie again for taking care of that. It was great to experience the hospitality and punctuality. Everything was very well planned!! Special shout out to Mr Andrew who was consistently following up and taking care of our comfort through out the tour. And last but not he least a very special shout out to Mr Viet (our tour guide for DANANG and HOI AN). He was very polite and very well informed, because of Mr Viet, we know a lot more about Vietnam's history and its significance when it comes to multiple attractions he took us through.

The shared worship centre for Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, Confucianism and Islam, Cao Dai is the third largest religion in Vietnam. It’s temple is very ornate, unfortunately we weren’t able to attend when a service was being held so we can’t comment on its format or content.

we have booked cruise through Rubicon Tours with 2 days 1 night program. Rubicon Tours' staff are so friendly and they seem to be really knowledgeable about Halong Bay area and cruises in there also. So they recommended the cruise extremely fit in our favorite. The cruise is not only large, luxurious, beautiful design but also craftsmanship with private balcony, comfortable lounge chairs and a table... I definitely recommend this tour!

This is one of the most amazing experiences of mine here with Rubicontours. My family & I had an unforgettable trip with the tour group. The tour information suporter was very enthusiastic and provided us knowledge about the attractions very quickly. The tour guide is very kind and always connected the group members together. He is humorous as well.

We booked onto the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, tam coc, Mua cave with Vietnamese Folk music show from Hanoi. It was the perfect way to skip the crowds see stunning view point. It was our guide Victor’s first day doing this tour. He is a language major mostly in Japanese. His English was very good but there was a few areas of improvement. He was very friendly, personable & knowledgeable. If you asked a question and he did not have the answer he found it for you. There was one person on our tour that was quite upset with something to do with the company that booked this tour for her. Victor handled himself and the problem straight on and didn’t show any stress but took it very seriously! He gave out the perfect amount of information on each stop and did not blog us down with to much info. No one can retain the info that some guides give out and with victor I actually feel like I retained the important info. The drive was about 2 hours with a 30 min stop at some gov’t shop that is the same as all the other bus stops threw out the country but they do have clean washrooms. First we saw Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. We were there for about an hour and 15mins. It was a beautiful site with tons of history but it was a little rushed. Then we were off to Mua caves and the hike to the pagoda or the dragon den were you with see stunning panorama views of Tam Doc and the rice field. We had about an hour here which was no where close to enough time. It’s a beautiful area with so many things to do. 2 hours would have been a lot better. After this we went off for a family style lunch. Lunch was included but beverages were not. They were very cheap. Food was very good and traditional. After lunch you had the choice to cycle .5km to the boat ride. Our full group wanted to drive how we just had a large lunch. It would be a great location to rent a bike for a ride. The boat ride was fabulous but very uncomfortable for 2 hours. Our boat guide didn’t say 2 words to us until the last 3 mins when she just repeated tip for me? It is pretty impressive watching them row with their feet. You will go threw 3 water caves and see some stunning views along the way There are boats selling food and beverages along the way. As well as people taking your picture to try and sell it to you on the way back.There is a turn around point just after the 3rd cave, so you end up seeing the same stuff on the way back. So it does get a bit boring on the return. Don't forget your camera. Next up we were off to a local house to listen to 2 folk songs which was a waste of time. The family seemed nice but it would be way better as a performance not 2 songs and tea. This took about 30mins. We had to walk down this scratchy trail in the dark with no lights to get to and from the van. There was no stops on the way back to Hanoi. All in all I recommend a trip to Ninh Binh. It was the perfect way to skip the crowds, see stunning view points& see an ancient city. But I would recommend seeing if you can skip the Folk music and have more time at the Mua caves.

Fantastic day tour from Hanoi to Ninh Binh to see the amazing rock formations jutting out of the landscape along the river flats. The tour was by bus, but comfortable with rest stops regularly and water provided onboard. Stops included some tourist trap shops but included some solid bargains for winter gear/jackets and other items. Took two small children, which I wouldn't recommend if you can avoid it as when you climb to the mountaintop temple-Hang Mua- by the Mua caves it's not the safest for kids under 10, or for those with knee issues. The river and caves at Trang An were spectacular as the rock formations are similar to Ha Long Bay but inland and with less people. The route we took was one of the longer ones and went through vice stopping along the way. Highly recommend this route as the routes that stop included some obnoxious tourists playing loud music and drinking beer whereas if you stay on the river you're spared the arrogant behavior of young backpackers. In the caves, which you transit via rowboat (rower included), be prepared to literally duck down into the boat as the ceiling hangs extremely low in many areas-careful if you have back issues or don't do well in dark, enclosed spaces. Highlight of the tour though. You'll also stop by where part of the ancient capital/kingdom was in the north and might even see mountain goats on the sides of mountains nearby. Tour ends with a stop by a small family home in the rural surrounding area with traditional music and tea. Notes: lunch included which was good, stay hydrated throughout the date, take breaks as needed, bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat, be prepared to take lots of photos, be careful climbing the stone steps to the mountaintop temple-Hang Mua, bring local currency for shopping, snacks, souvenirs and tips. The tour guide, Hoang Anh, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. His insight and explanations made this a great tour. He's obviously well-read and cares deeply about ensuring guests enjoy the tour and gain appreciation for the history of Vietnam. Job well done.

We had a great tour with a magnificent Vu. He speaks good english and very informative. He made all our group of stranges feel like a team from the beginning. Amazing boat trip with delicious dinner,kayaking,bicycling to the diamond cave, cooking class on the boat and swimming. Very adventurous day and new friends from all over the world. Thank you Vu! It's impossible to forget you and your laughter!

Me and my wife booked a tour to Halong bay with 2D1N. We had a great support from the operator- Jindo. We had many questions but she answered us very carefully. The cruise and the service was wonderful. Everything was satisfied us. Greattttt

We had a great trip in Nha Trang & Dalat last few days. Our family with 2 kids love the trip to Mun island, Robinson island and Tam island with mud bath experience. I never book tours recommended from hotels, however this case I made an exception because of all the good comments the tour had. And we were not disappointed. Andy, our tour guide, was really good and had a positive attitude the whole time. Great lunch, great places, great guide.
