Really, if you are under 60s you should avoid this. Big waste of money, the food is average, at dinner the food came all at the same time (8 plates) it was a mess. Jacuzzi was cold and when I asked to increase the water temperature I was given a bunch of non sense excuses to not do it, so basically you couldn't even use it. Seriously??? Bar closed at 21h, no music to chill at the deck, nothing to do. Was never expecting a party cruise, but this boring?? You should simply book the excursions with some tour companies (they do the same excursions), you gain nothing on paying extra money to be trapped on this overnight boring stuff. Pictures of the cold jacuzzi, closed bar and empty deck at 21:30.

I went with an Australian tour group and had a fantastic time. Mr Jack Sparrow and the team were excellent, plenty of activities around the bay and were treated to great food, drinks and hospitality The boat is a little bit older but was well taken care of and I had a clean room with the essentials Would absolutely do it again. We booked a 1 night tour aboard The Theatre Cruise. It was a close to flawless experience. We were told the itinerary on arrival and we had lunch first up. Then we go to paddle around the bay followed. Then we had drinks and a cookery demo on the top deck followed by a great dinner. The beds were very comfortable and the private balcony space we had was great to have to watch Ha Long bay float by. Visiting the water caves in the morning was a major highlight, and seeing tree monkeys was the icing on the cake. Overall this was a great experience. Tom the cruise manager was very informative and checked on us several times. Jack our butler was the same. This was a great experience.

Mr. Tim, Hanna, Thor and the entire crew on this one night cruise were amazing. Highly recommended. I especially enjoyed kayaking in the water tunnel. The Vietnamese noodle soup with sea bass was yummy!

Our guide, Ken, had so much local knowledge about Hanoi and Vietnam. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and would recommend this tour. Ken was happy to adapt the itinerary to suit our requirements. The highlight was definitely Train Street and the egg coffee.

Great trip. Amazing views and fun activities. The rooms were comfortable and the showers were hot. Would have expected the water bottles to be included but that was the only flaw.

Cruise was brilliant, the service and boat were 1st class. Amy (An) our butler was incredible, very attentive. Not a cheap cruise in any way but you get what you pay for. Only downside was the village tour, a little underwhelming.

We stayed for 2 days 1 night on Elite of the Seas ! It lives up to its reputation as a world class cruise whether it was the amenities , the food, the activities or the staff . Very friendly and courteous they made us fell really special. We also did the Tai Chi class with Harry and used the gym which was quite good. Special word of praise for Hanna who served us with lots of care and affection during all our meals . Must do !

We actually booked with this company on their cheaper cruise option but were upgraded due to a booking mixup, in itself dealt with really well.This was one of the most luxurious experiences we have ever had!The ship is utterly amazing, the cabins complete luxury and the food, staff, drinks all outstanding.Lunch was served as we boarded, all 7 courses wonderful, followed by kayaking, swimming, relaxing and a putting green on board.8 course dinner at 7pm and live music on deck.You feel pampered every moment of the time on board and we also received a free boat transfer to Cat Ba Island accompanied by the captain.Cannot recommend this experience enough, worth every penny!

Best experience ever. Beautiful staff and facilities. Food was amazing and accommodating. Tours were unbelievable and so well organised. As I booked through bookings.com we were upgraded to the best room on the cruise for no extra cost. I can’t recommend this cruise enough but make sure you do the two nights.

Just off the ship 28 Oct 23. Vessel in great shape. Clean and quiet when under way. We stayed in The Presidential Suite with amazing views and privacy. So nice we felt uncomfortable because it is so top-shelf! Very professional, engaging and helpful staff X10, willing to attend to even the smallest detail. Loaded with activities if you want, but all optional. We did some, not all. Food spectacular, cocktails well done, and service in both the restaurant and bar very on-the-spot. Can't think of anything they missed and would recommend without reserve. OK... maybe we should have done the 3 day instead of the 2 day, but that is all.

Worth every penny you spend! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was delicious. Service was unparalleled. Would have loved to stay for two nights. The only problem we faced was the weather. Haha. If it would have been a little sunny. It would have been even cool because we would have been able to kayak for longer. The room and the views! Sunrise and sunset. Loved everything about this place.
