Stunning views, a good selection of activities for everyone. All staff were very catering and sweet. Mie, Tien and Chris all made a very good impression on us, really making our trip special. The food was amazing & we wish we could have stayed longer.

Wow! This trip exceeded our expectations by a lot! We were on Orchid Premium with 10 people on our boat. We had 5 people (parents and 3 children ages 21, 20, and 17). The rooms were larger than most of our hotel rooms. The food was fabulous! The customer service was exceptional. They served dinner in white gloves. This company has the timing down to a science. When you check in it looks chaotic, but don’t let that fool you. They know what they are doing and efficiently move you around. Our main steward would give us time frames that would be in 5 min increments (for example, he would say we would depart for the first activity at 2:50-2:55). The first day, we went to the caves for kayaking for an hour. Then back to the boat for an hour (we went to the hot tub on the top deck and had drinks), then we went swimming off the ship (which was quite cold at around 70 fahrenheit in December). It was refreshing! After that we relaxed, had a cooking class, and then dinner. The next morning, we went hiking through a cave for about an hour after breakfast (easy walk - not strenuous). Then it was back on board for brunch and back on the transport boat to the docks. HIGHLY recommend it.

An amazing experience! Beautiful surroundings, great activities on offer, food was plentiful and delicious. Rooms 5 star! We would also like to thank Merlin and the team who did an absolutely AMAZING job of celebrating our daughter Lucy’s 6th birthday!! All staff were soo very kind and we also met the most wonderful & kind people from all around the world! Thank you for making our little Lucy feel special!

The ship was beautiful! The bay was something on that forget. The staff was fabulous, especially our main all purpose, ask him anything, food server, and magician his name was Alex! Friendly fun and very kind.

The orchid cruise was the best cruise that we saw on Halong Bay. The rooms were spacious and beautiful and the activities that they offered were great! The service and care that the attendees and the Captain gave us was superb. Alex was our attendee and he was amazing and made the trip extra special and made us feel very important! I would highly suggest this cruise to anyone coming to Vietnam! We had a great time and met many wonderful people!

Orchid Cruises is the way to go. The staff is outstanding, particularly Alex who wrapped us in blankets when we were cold, brought food to our room when we wanted to dine in and was extremely attentive. The ship itself is immaculate. The entire staff is excellent. We went bike riding, kayaking, cooking classes, swimming, cave exploring, and just enjoyed the splendor of the area surrounding us. Our captain Emmanuel is as good as they come. Thank you Emmanuel for taking such great care of us.

The bay is magical. The boat was perfect - only 14 cabins, and they were huge. Awesome service, especially James and Tien! The only issue was the smog, which I think was particularly bad when we were there.

Our main guy James was kind, spunky and helpful. Cruise director was informative and engaging. The excursions were exciting and quick enough to enjoy. Ship was hard to leave.

Unforgettable experience, enchanting views, delicious food and well organized trips with a professional staff, they set up a choreography for honeymooners during the dinner, they were very warm and kind, thank you very much! Highly recommended.
